The Historic Terrace Theatre Needs You Again!

Thank you for your support of the Historic Terrace Theatre last summer by joining the nearly 2200 signatures of our petition to the Robbinsdale City Council against demolition.  Unfortunately, there is currently a proposal by Hy-Vee Foods to demolish the theater and put up a 91,500 square foot store.  They are unwilling to modify their plans in anyway that would save the theater.  Please sign our new petition stating that you will boycott Hy-Vee if they destroy this precious piece of Robbinsdale, and Twin City, theatrical history.  Thank you for your time.

I would like to personally thank everybody who has signed our petition to Save the Historic Terrace Theatre.  The response that we received far exceeded my hopes.  And then, when I set a higher goal for the petition, it was exceeded again!  This just goes to show that there are many, many people out there who care about restoring and reopening this theatre.  Our petition will be presented to the Robbinsdale City Council on Tuesday, July 21st.  Please feel free to attend the meeting to show your support.  After that, we will be setting up a time to present it to the current owners of the property in the hopes that this will help us in acquiring the property.  If you would like to continue to receive updates on our progress, please go to our Facebook page www.facebook.com/historicterracetheatre and click on the E-Mail Signup button along the the top menu.
