Whitehaven, we stopped it! One Stop Housing, LLC pulled their application for the Elvis Presley project.

Thanks so much for those that signed the petition of over 600 Memphians, Blades Barbershop, Memphis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC., Whitehaven Associations/Organizations, State Rep London Lamar, our City Council and Neighborhood Watch Groups for working together to support this opposition!

Land Use Board Meeting - they will vote on this project

Happy Holidays! Please ask all neighbors and friends to sign the petition by Monday, January 3, 2022, to ensure the petition is submitted to the Land Use Board before the deadline which is the week before the meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2022.

We must show up in large numbers! To STOP this project!!

Park at the Mud Island Parking lot at Front and Poplar - walk up one block up Poplar to Main make a Right on Main and 124  North Main is the second building on the right; it is fenced in due to remodeling, but it is open.

The vote is on hold for voting until January 11, 2022! That gives us additional time to obtain signitures for the petition and to send emails/letters to Shelby County Land Use Board - Brett.Davis@Memphistn.gov and emails/letters to our City Council. Thanks please get your family/friends anywhere in Memphis to sign!

This is NOT only a Whitehaven issue it is a Memphis issue.

SUP 21-32 Vote is on Hold!

Our voices were heard!!

SUP- 21-32- Whitehaven: convert existing hotel at 3265 Elvis Presley Blvd into an apartment complex is on HOLD and will NOT be voted on at the Shelby County Land Use Board meeting Thursday, December 9th.

It is NOT over but on hold for now. We will not stop collecting signatures and writing letters to the board, city council and Mayors regarding our opposition of this project location.

Thanks to all that assisted in getting the word on the street, news and via signatures for my petition.   

We must keep working until the project is DENIED!!
