Reaction to Club Statement

2014-03-28 18:09:31

Having read the statement issued by the club, we welcome the "suggestion" that things are moving in the right direction.

However it falls well short of the points raised in the petition signed by over 2,000 people.

Therefore we confirm that the petition will be presented at EP tomorrow. The team will meet at the Nelson at 1.00pm and walk up to the ground at 2.00pm. We have been advised that someone will be available to accept it.

We urge the shareholders to act on ALL points within the petition. We feel that action on point one would see an increase in season ticket sales and give the football manager much need funds to start the new season with real hope.

Presentation of the petition

2014-03-23 19:30:31

Following a number of suggestions it has been decided that the petition will be presented at the next home game - Saturday 29th March, County v Hednesford Town.

We will be meeting at the Nelson Tavern at 1.00pm (opposite the Town Hall) with a view to walking to the ground at 2.00pm to present the petition. We invite all interested supporters to join us as this will re-emphasise the feelings of those supporting the demands for change.

We would kindly request that an official of the club be available to receive the petition on our arrival.

The signatures are now beginning to peak; therefore we have decided that we will end the petition at 9pm on Wednesday 19th March.

After a couple of days of admin work to collate the information, we will arrange to deliver it to the Football Club.

The present figures indicate that over 1200 people from Stockport and surrounding areas have fully endorsed this petition. Only 560 are from outside the Stockport area, and 2% are from outside the UK.

Pettion

2014-03-12 12:05:01

Thank you for supporting this petition. Please be advised this is a serious attempt to force change at the Football Club.

Therefore the petition will only be forwarded to the club if we reach 1,000 signatures

ALL false names will be removed; it is easier to remove than it is to sign

Thank you for your support.
