Update

2015-06-08 07:37:45

In the past few weeks the campaign, albeit quietly, has gathered momentum. Since the recent elections there are now 2 councillors who are very keen to take it further and have already started to find information and provide advice. It is possible that in the near future there will be a small committee formed, to conform to certain legalities, and this will take it to the next level. It may be that some consider this campaign to be proceeding very slowly, but please remember that the whole of the Regal/Meeting House Lane/Furlong Shopping Centre area is very complex, with a number of land owners involved.

May I say thank you so much for your support to date, and please continue to spread the word. There are now a number of 'hard copy' petitions around the Town, The Star Inn, Reeves the Bakers, Lorraine Tarrants, Tulip Crafts, Fox in the Forest, 4Zero Cafe and Made Closer are some.

Regal Cinema makes front page news

Todays Forest Journal has a front page, and page 3 spread, about the petition.

Anyone want to offer to have a hard copy and gather some more signatures of those not on the internet?

Update on Regal Cinema

2014-10-16 07:55:48

Thanks for your support with this petition. It appears as if there is a large section of Ringwoods residents that want to see this building used again for entertainment. Keep up the positive thoughts. A couple of friends will attend Ringwood Society meeting tonight (Thursday 16th) and see if they are able to advise/assist.
