A Petition asking SEC Philippines to Lift the Cease and Desist Order against Crowd1 Operations in the Philippines

We, the members of Crowd1 in the Philippines respectfully request SEC to lift the Cease and Desist order against Crowd1. Crowd1 has given us members this great opportunity to earn the much needed extra income especially during these challenging times. It is unfortunate that some misinformation about Crowd1 has spread and has reached SEC resulting to the SEC order for Crowd1 to temporarily stop operation here in the Philippines. Crowd1 is present in over 170 countries and it is disappointing to us members that Crowd1 have issues only in the Philippines.  While our operations is on a halt in the Philippines, Crowd1 operations globally continues and this has resulted to the big loss of opportunity for the members of Crowd1 in the Philippines. Every single day that our operation here in the Philippines is stopped, is A BIG LOSS of OPPORTUNITY for Filipino members and it's been almost 2 months now since the SEC order so imagine the extra income that we could have gained during these 6 weeks. 

Take note, the SEC Cease and Desist Order does not affect Crowd1 as a company as this is a Global company and will continue to operate and be successful even without the Philippines so it is us the Filipinos who badly needs the extra income that is greatly affected by this CDO.

If you are concerned about the 11 thousand employees of ABS-CBN, we assure you that the members of Crowd1 here in the Philippines are much more than the 11 thousand employees of ABS-CBN.

Please take note as well that many of the Crowd1 members are OFWs and seafarers that were displaced and lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 issue that the world is facing right now. Crowd1 has given them and many middle class Filipinos, the opportunity to stand up and fight the financial challenges they are facing and the SEC CDO is not helping in anyway in their fight to survive.  

Is this really what the SEC or the Philippine government really want? Here is a foreign company giving Filipinos the chance to survive this economic crisis brought about by the Pandemic and here is their government, shutting down this opportunity?

Lastly, we reiterate that Crowd1 is NOT AN INVESTMENT COMPANY and we the members did not join Crowd1 to invest BUT we joined Crowd1 because of the extra income we can earn as affiliates of the Gaming Industy. We were not promised easy income here but we are always reminded that the income we earn in Crowd1 is commensurate to the effort we put into this business. If there are members who say Crowd1 is an investment company to get members, we assure you that they are more of an exception rather than the rule. These are members who probably are just misinformed or simply does not know yet the ins and outs of the company so is it fair to stop and penalize the whole Philippine membership because of the mis-doings of a few members?

Once again, we the members of Crowd1 here in the Philippines are respectfully asking SEC Philippines to lift the Cease and Desist order against Crowd1 and allow us to continue to take part in this great business opportunity that Crowd1 has given us.
