NO! TATTOO COURSES AT FMCC!

FMCC has made the decision to add tattoo courses to their curriculum. By doing so they are turning their back on higher education and joining a growing number of predatory online schools. They are looking for tattoo shops to "intern" these students while in the program, showing a total lack of understanding for how our industry works. Why would their program even be necessary at that point. What interest do we have in churning out their "interns" in a already crowded field?  The passing of knowl

An Open Letter to Members of the GOP

To the members of the GOP; We, the people of the United States of America and members of the Republican Party are putting you on notice. We have had enough. We have watched this president and a very few members of the House and Senate (including members of the Democratic party) make a stand against the corrupt DNC and their socialist agenda as they tore this country apart. We have, as citizens, fought for our President. We have campaigned, we have used our time and energy to expose corruption, w

Petition to Protect “Your” Financial Privacy

There is a proposal in the U.S. Congress that would require financial institutions to report to the IRS private account information.  If passed, they would be required to report every deposit and/or withdrawal (personal and business) on accounts with balances greater than $600.00 WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION!  The IRS would potentially use this data to audit you or accuse you of not paying your "fair share" of taxes, or possibly other uses or penalties.  These intrusions into your privacy we oppose a

Oppose Abandonment and Annexation of Osceola Rd. Right of Way!

Dear Juno Beach Town Councilmembers, We respectfully ask for you to PRESERVE PLEASANT RIDGE “PARK” and DENY the Annexation and Abandonment of Osceola Rd. Right of Way to The Waterford.  The Pleasant Ridge Plat language states that this ROW is dedicated for “perpetual use of the public”.  It has long been used as a park by Pleasant Ridge and nearby communities. Your vote supporting this blatantly bad plan will result in stripping a beautiful park away from Pleasant Ridge residents that include ch

Please support not rezoning or developing 140 Waltrip Ln off Lake Powell rd.

Lake Powell Road area residents ask that James City County deny the planning, rezoning and building of 140 Waltrip Ln. Lake powell rd cannot handle another 17 duplexes, 12 single family homes or the additional 60 to 120+ vehicles that would use it daily. There is only one way in or out of Lake powell rd. This development would also infringe on the old home place and cemetery of 4 generations. Let's keep this area green for the wildlife and generations to come.
