Save Hippy Hill

This has been a crazy year, as everyone knows.  I have been told by the Police Chief to expect a letter from the state to remove everything from the Hill.  The funny thing is the only thing the store has actually put up there is a Porta John to make sure things are sanitary.  I am asking for people to sign this petition to get the state of N.H. to lease the Hill to me. The more the better so please get the word out!!  Thank you Doug

Justice for Jiha'd Vasquez

This is the hate crime Presidential candidate and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Buttigieg doesn’t want to talk about. In 2011 black High school student Jiha’d Vasquez was found hung from a power line support after missing for four days KKK style in South Bend. Although the day he was reported missing he had been in a fight with a white student at school over a IPad which the white student claimed was his, (which was in fact Jiha'd's) after he was found hung, the police “investigation” lasted approxi

Oppose Abandonment and Annexation of Osceola Rd. Right of Way!

Dear Juno Beach Town Councilmembers, We respectfully ask for you to PRESERVE PLEASANT RIDGE “PARK” and DENY the Annexation and Abandonment of Osceola Rd. Right of Way to The Waterford.  The Pleasant Ridge Plat language states that this ROW is dedicated for “perpetual use of the public”.  It has long been used as a park by Pleasant Ridge and nearby communities. Your vote supporting this blatantly bad plan will result in stripping a beautiful park away from Pleasant Ridge residents that include ch

Say "No" to standardized exams and computer-based assessments in our school district for the year.

Sign this petition to support young people in our district by REJECTING district-wide standardized exams and computer-based assessments for this year.   What do our young people need most right now?  If you are an educator who brings social-emotional support to your students in any meaningful way, you must empathize with young people at this time of social-distancing and rising issues for families in urban districts.  Currently, the Vallejo City Unified School District offers lip-service to soci

Petition for Local Land Use Control of Private Property on the Shores of Lake Tulloch

More than 60 years ago the Tulloch Reservoir, also called Lake Tulloch, was created by the South San Joaquin and Oakdale Irrigation Districts. At the time of its creation the irrigation districts obtained flowage easements on a small portion of the property on the lake’s shoreline. Over the past six decades most of the land on the lake was purchased and subdivided by property owners with a portion of their properties incumbered with flowage easements.   According to the United States Federal En

Re-Open our City Parks

We, the citizens of Del Rio, are asking our City Council to remove the restrictions they have imposed on our city parks. The citizens of Del Rio pay taxes for the creation and maintenance of the very parks they are prohibiting citizens from using. Slowly they are shutting everything down, while the state of Texas reopens. The State of Texas has already implemented plans to reopen the state. This includes the opening of theme parks, stadiums, water parks, etc. The City also seems very biased and
