Building in Erasmia

PETITION
We the undersigned, residents of ERASMIA, hereby, petition the City of Tshwane to;
Investigate the construction taking place at 413 Van Dyk street (erf. 495), ERASMIA
Noting that:
• The building taking place at the above property is not legal according to council approved plans as the construction includes the boundary wall as part of the building.
• There does not seem to be any compliance with the City’s by-laws on building and construction in a residential area - *Council has issued the owner notice to stop building to no avail*
We therefore appeal to the City of Tshwane:
1. To take all measures necessary to ensure that any development is conducted in accordance with the City By-Laws and specifically that of the Planning Department and
2. To ensure that all development in our community, outside of normal residential property, be done after the necessary community consultation process has been conducted.
