Cancel offline exams & conduct only online exams due to this COVID-19

Dear SREC management, this is a request from the students. As our regular and supplementary exams are scheduled offline, we would sincerely like you to reconsider the decision. Although these decisions are taken by the University the colleges are affiliated to, even students of those colleges are protesting against this but being an autonomous college the decision lies on our college management and can be implemented a bit more subjectively. There are students who are from villages and remote areas, for them transportation would be severe issue and above all, the corona cases in the state of Telangana and also Warangal district are showing no sign of decreasing trend. Conducting the exams now offline would be dangerous to students as the probability of being affected by Corona virus could substantially increase thereby putting our health at serious risk. We would like to stress the point again, please reconsider the decision of conducting the exam should be conducted only in online. Especially , as the students come from different places and some of them might be suffering with covid ,but still,they afford to come to college and appear for the examinations . In such cases,there is a risk of other students getting infected with covid and what if the families gets affected through the students? It is surely a matter of life . Hence, it is better if the examinations are conducted online
