DON'T Cancel Vega Graduation. Postpone it!

We have received an email stating that our graduation ceremonies have been cancelled. As students, we feel that we have worked exceptionally hard over the past 3 years and deserve a graduation ceremony. We have paid a lot of money to attend our institution and find it completely unfair that they have just decided to go ahead and cancel graduation instead of suggesting a postponement till the time is right.

As students, receiving your degree is a huge honour and many of our parents wait for the day to see their kids graduate. We ask that the institution re-evaluates the situation and rather calls for a postponed date or time, once the virus has calmed down. We feel that graduation should happen even if it means that we have to wait a while longer. Every student deserves to have their name called out, receive their certificate and be proud of their achievements and hard work.

This is a once in a lifetime thing and is an experience that should be unforgettable!
