Investigate Privately Owned Student Accomodation offices and refund all fraudulently processed NSFAS allowances

NSFAS users are approved in different times and recieve their allowances in different time throughout the year. This creates a vacuum for fraud and chaos in the economy of these funds (moving from NSFAS to NSFAS, NSFAS to Fundi, Fundi to the Accomodation accredited by POSA).

This is one concern which the university has been turning a blind eye on since the start of this Operation. There are allegations that there are employees in the Privately Owned Student Accomodation offices who are working hand in hand with these fraudsters hence why the operation has been getting stronger, scamming students and wasting the state's money.

We are calling for the Vice Chancellor of the University of Johannesburg Prof Tshilidzi Marwala to open an investigation aiming at POSA offices and other accomodations to be discussed by the investigating team. Due to the level fraud and corruption we have witnessed in this space we demand that the investigating team should compromise of two representatives from the Society of Us The Students and can have anyone of the choice from the University or externally.
