Keep our ice cream on the promenade! Say yes to the ice cream kiosks of Knokke-Heist!

💛 Petition to preserve and extend the licenses of the ice cream kiosks on the Knokke-Heist promenade 💛

To the Municipal Council of Knokke-Heist,

We, the undersigned, urgently request the extension of the concessions for the existing ice cream kiosks on the Knokke-Heist promenade.

These kiosks have been a recognizable and beloved part of our coastline for many years. They offer not only refreshment on warm days, but also contribute to the charm, social atmosphere, and artisanal quality of our seafront. The vendors put their heart and soul into offering high-quality, often handcrafted products and play a vital role in the tourist appeal of our town.

An abrupt end to these concessions would hit current entrepreneurs hard and drastically change the character of our seafront. We believe that continuity and appreciation for local businesses should be central in future policies.

We therefore ask:

• The extension of the existing ice cream kiosk concessions;

• A fair and transparent policy that values the years of dedication by current vendors;

• The preservation of the unique atmosphere, quality, and appearance of our promenade.
