Petition to the MMC of Environment and Waste Management Services, re trees, parks and waste managment

We, the residents of the LamDel Residents Association and surrounding areas of Ward 35 and 39 in The City of Ekurhuleni, call on the MMC of Environment and Waste Management Services, Councillor Khosi Mabaso, to get the parks department to not only maintain the pavements, open spaces and parks within our area with grass cutting, but to also cut the trees on the pavements that are severely overgrown and affecting the electricity supply to several houses as well as blocking the street lights and roadsigns.

Furthermore, a workable schedule must be put in place, and adhered too, to ensure that these services are rendered regularly and on a timeous basis going forward. And it must be ensured illegal dumping is cleared with the assistance of Waste Management and waste removal takes place on a regular basis.
