Nominate John Bercow for a knighthood.

The Speaker of The House of Commons is intended to be a representative and servant of the will of parliament. As such the current speaker John Bercow is bravely, but quite correctly, prioritising the will of MPs over deference to the government, thus provoking the wrath of the Prime Minister and her supporters. There are rumours that he will thus be denied a peerage when he retires from the Commons that would break a tradition dating back 230 years: former Commons Speakers are automatically offered a seat in the House of Lords. Whilst we, the British public, cannot influence the awarding of peerages we can nominate deserving citizens for other honours via the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nominate-someone-for-a-uk-national-honour
