NSFAS and EEC pending allowances/payments

As the students of Ekurhuleni East tvet college we find ourselves faced with a difficult situation since we don't have a voice because of our useless SRC every time when we contact the campus management they only tell us the problem is with a bursary scheme namely National Students Financial Aid Scheme(NSFAS) and when we call NSFAS they say that they are waiting for proofs of registration from our institution.

Since the beginning of the year till now the majority of students from EEC have not received allowances. Some of us the students depend entirely on this bursary and now some find themselves not being to pay rent or buy essentials.

We students have asked questions from the student body SRC and our finance department, and we never got a clear answer instead we are told that the problem is with NSFAS. 

We as students don't  understand why the college doesn't allow us to choose between transport and accommodation during application so we suspect that the college.

Our plea to NSFAS is that we get paid via students bank account so it can get directly to us and to get all the allowances we should have been getting since February.

We kindly ask for our plea be heard so that we can be stop stressing about the issue of not getting  allowances and carry on with our studies as we came to the institution for an education not to stress about allowances even when we are approved by a bursary scheme
