PETITION FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF A SHORT STAY PARKING CHARGE OPTION IN LONG STAY CAR PARKS IN GWYNEDD

We want Gwynedd Council to provide a ‘Short Stay’ parking charge option on ‘Long Stay’ car parks in Gwynedd, where there are local business interests within comfortable reach of the Long Stay car park. For example, Views on Long Stay Charges video Llandanwg Car Park is a Long Stay car park but has business interests within 20 meters that attract customers who wish to visit the business without having to pay the full ‘Long Stay’ charge. A ‘Short Stay’ parking charge would satisfy the large majority of visitors and local people, allowing them to briefly visit the ancient church, the beach, the National Trust field, walk their pets, use the public toilets and the café before continuing their journey or holiday.
