Petition to Install a hazard light and warning signs on Lakefield Avenue, Benoni, to reduce Speed and Accidents near the Lakes Golf Course

There are numerous accidents each week on Lakefield Avenue, next to the Lakes Golf Course, in Benoni. The road does not have clearly marked road signs to slow the speed of vehicles or warn motorists of upcoming pedestrian crossings.  

We, the residents of the Greater Benoni, Ward 28, Lakefield, hereby petition the MMC of Roads and Transport, Cllr. Andile Mngwevu, to install hazard lights and warning signs to help reduce vehicle speed on the road and warn motorists of the upcoming pedestrian crossing on Lakefield Avenue alongside the Lakes Golf Course.
