Petition to Reschedule the Symposium to Better Support DC Student Success- Q2 Winter 2025

To whom this may concern,

As students of Life University pursuing a Doctorate in Chiropractic, we deeply value the opportunities provided through symposiums to engage with peers, faculty, and the wider academic community. However, we write to respectfully request the rescheduling of the upcoming symposium currently planned for Friday, 02/07/2025, the weekend immediately preceding the midterms for the cohort.

This timing poses a significant challenge for our cohort, as many of us will be focused on preparing for demanding midterm examinations, including our biochemistry exam. Balancing the high-stakes nature of these exams with the intellectual and professional demands of the symposium may compromise both our performance and the quality of our engagement in the event.

To ensure we can fully participate and contribute to the symposium, we kindly propose moving the event to one of the following alternate dates:

1. The Friday of the week prior : 01/31/2025
2. The Friday of the week following midterms : 02/14/2025

This adjustment would allow us to fully dedicate ourselves to both academic success and the meaningful exchange of ideas during the symposium, upholding the standards of excellence that our program represents.
