Reduction on student fees 2020-21

During this time of COVID-19 pandemic our college (St. Joseph's College Autonomous, Bangalore) demands their students to pay the fees at a much higher amount than previously required. This has put many parents in a tight spot.

Do you feel this year's student fees seems to be plausible? Many facilities that were previously used at the college is now unavailable as no student has access to the college premises.

So how could our college even think about asking their students to pay the fees at this point of time? And also there is no reduction in fees. Instead the college has only increased the fees.

Do you think any parent out there at the moment can afford the fees given in the image below?

Have a look at what things the college has charged its students for. Do you think, during this lockdown period, we students are using up any of the mentioned resources?

Therefore, unnecessary fees for infrastructure, laboratory fees, sports development fees, library fees, reading room fees, electricity, water and maintainence fees, cultural activity fees, lab manual fees, etc., should be cut down from the list.
