Renewal of Lease of Roshanara Club, Mecca of Cricket in India since 1922 , by our Hona’ble LG of DELHI

A petition with a prayer to Lt Governor of Delhi with Folded Hands to renew the two Leases of Roshanara Club Ltd issued in 1922 and 1928 respectively for 23 acres of Land having been leased for 90 years , which expired in the year 2012 and 2018 respectively and and are pending for its renewal with our Hona’ble Lt Governor of Delhi .

No one would like to see that a Historic well maintained , lush green ground , called ROSHANARA CLUB , in the vicinity of old Delhi with its HERITAGE VALUES is wiped off from the MAPS for want of Lease Renewal .

we the Members of more than 4000 families along with crores of Cricket lover of our country appeal to our Hona’ble Lt Governor of DELHI to RENEW the LEASE of our 23 acres of LAND alloyed through TWO Different Lease Agreements in the year 1922 and 1928 respectively for another 90 years with a perpetual lease .

This petition is being filed for a very specific and sole purpose of renewal of Lease of Roshanara Club
