PETITION AGAINST THE CONTINUOUS, UNFORESEEN AND UNACCOUNTABLE LACK OF BASIC ELECTRICAL SERVICES IN RESPECT OF THE HAZELWOOD, MENLO PARK AND MAROELANA AREAS - (WARD 82):

  PETITION AGAINST THE CONTINUOUS, UNFORESEEN AND UNACCOUNTABLE LACK OF BASIC ELECTRICAL SERVICES IN RESPECT OF THE HAZELWOOD, MENLO PARK, LYNNWOOD SOUTH  AND MAROELANA AREAS - (WARD 82):

  We, the undersigned, DEMAND that the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality take immediate action on behalf of all rate and tax paying residents located within its aforementioned jurisdictional area, by embarking upon whatsoever measures and/or steps as may be reasonably necessary and/or required, to investigate the current lack of electrical services provided to the aforementioned areas and to resolve such a lack of electrical services, in order to ensure that same meet our essential needs and rights, for purposes of ultimately eliminating any further unforeseen, continuous and/or re-occurring power outages or “trips” within the aforementioned areas, moreover, that the Municipality acts in a transparent, accountable and equitable manner in that regard when investigating the causes of such unforeseen, continuous and/or re-occurring power outages and or “trips”, by openly disclosing to its residents any discovered causes of such power outages and/or “trips” - (i.e. to comply and discharge with its relevant statutory duties and/or functions in accordance with inter alia the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, the Municipal Systems Act (Act 32 of 2000), the Municipal Structures Act (Act 117 of 1998) and/or any other relevant and/or prevailing legislation or regulations issued in terms thereof. 

We also demand proper investigation into why calls are closed without repairs being completed. Calls closed 4 tiems int 5 days shows someone is deliberately closinG the calls.
