Ive walked past this man and his dog plenty of times and the dog has never even barked. He's calm and relaxed on christmas eve ny Husband gave the man a sausage roll for him and his dog and his dog didn't snatch it from my husband he took nicely like any other dog would.

(newcastle, 2017-01-22)

#1224

Because this is totally unnecessary. My 4 year old daughter has been and stroked this dog as it's far from aggressive.

(Cambridgeshire, 2017-01-22)

#1228

This is so sad the man should be living in a house not on the streets. His dogs are his life that's all he has in the world how could you even contemplate taking them off him. I have dogs they are my world and I would be broken if they were taken. They are his soul mates!! Have a ♥

(Cambridgeshire , 2017-01-22)

#1231

I believe ifvto be cruel to pts the dog, when he is clearly not nasty, & a faithful friend

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1274

I have met Floyd on numerous occasions, even with other dogs in the vicinity, he has always been well behaved and friendly.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1277

This gentle man should be allowed to keep his beloved dogs
He has little else
This country needs to stop hating and start to show compassion towards people who have nothing xxx

(Doncaster, 2017-01-22)

#1278

I don't agree in people taking innocent animals away from the ones they have learned to trust and be loyal to, it's obvious that the dogs he has are his guardian angels and are protecting him, especially will if the guy is being attacked any loyal dog will protect then. I do not believe his dogs are vicious because when I've always seen them they are curled up asleep near him, they never move away from him.

(Spalding , 2017-01-22)

#1284

I have walked past this man a thousand times and have never had or heard of his dog being anything but friendly!

(Cambridgeshire , 2017-01-22)

(Peterborougj, 2017-01-22)

#1294

Destroying these dogs is not the answer!!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1296

Destroying the dogs would destroy this man who has precious little else. Turn your attention to more pressing matters & help the community in other ways. He & his dogs should be left alone.

(Leicester, 2017-01-22)

#1301

He is such a sweet man and the dog isn't any harm to anyone

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1302

Don't kick someone when they are already down. Please do the right thing and let Eddie keep his dog's. They are his support. Thank you.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1330

This man should be allowed to keep his dogs. Where is the proof that this dog is aggressive, vicious, and has he EVER BITTEN ANYONE?????? The council should be helping this poor man and his dogs Not making him suffer emotional pain. Get real council, leave this man alone, he's or his dog are not hurting anyone.

(Rhondda South Wales , 2017-01-22)

#1331

This is counsel beurocracy, just like social services, they***** up and then deflect with head scratching decisions that don't make sense to try and correct it. Leave this man and his dogs alone , it's clear the animals aren't dangerous.!!!!

(High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, 2017-01-22)

#1333

You should be helping him , not taking more away from him. People on here are telling you those dogs are placid

#1342

He needs a home so his dogs are not on the streets you are taking his family away

(Lincs, 2017-01-22)

#1346

This is cruel and would break this poor man's heart. He already suffers enough as it is, his dogs give him hope and strength. Plus, I have seen Eddie with his dog Floyd when in town. Floyd does not seem remotely 'vicious' to me.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1351

Surely Pcc have better things to waste their money on than persecuting a man with nothing but his dogs

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1353

This dog is lovely, calm and very well behaved. I feel this gentleman is being victimised.

(Spalding, 2017-01-22)

#1364

I've met this dog and it isn't vicious at all

(Corby , 2017-01-22)

#1365

The dog is not dangerous at all

(peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1366

I've met him and his dogs, they are not vicious and they're all he has. This is outrageous

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1368

This is wrong what's happening here, dog hasn't done anything and matey hasn't done anything so what's the problem? Oh absolutely nothing!!!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1370

I'm signing because I don't think a dog should be put down without good reason, and even then there must be options. Perhaps Bitsy & Floyd could move, but don't take it out on the dogs!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1376

All dogs are not vicious and shouldn't be taken away jus because he's homeless. They aren't jus pets to their owners their family!

(Cambridgeshire , 2017-01-22)

#1381

Everyone deserves to have a dog

(Bournemouth , 2017-01-22)

#1396

I have seen this man with his dog nearly every time I have been to the city centre of Peterborough. Not once has the dog ever growled at me or tried to bite even when I have stroked him. I believe it is wrong for him to have the dogs put down, there are brutal attacks and murders in Peterborough that get ignored but they can find time to try and get a harmless animal put down!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1397

I met this lovely gentleman and his beautiful dogs. They are not vicious they are gentle. It's a disgrace to remove them from the man who loves them as they are the only good things in his life. Fuming!!!!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1399

Talk about kicking a person when they are down. Help this man don't punish him

(Manchester, 2017-01-22)
