Comments

#2

I want to keep a safe neighborhood as well as property values.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-10)

#4

I oppose the rezoning of the lot area adjacent to the intersection of Wilderness Oak and Blanco

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#5

I DO NOT WANT any more traffic!! It is horrible!!

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#8

I oppose the apartment complex at Wilderness Oaks and Blanco. The streets and schools cannot handle this burden.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-10)

#12

I STRONGLY OPPOSE THIS REZONING TO MULTIFAMILY. IT WILL NOT BENEFIT THE VALUE OF OUR PROPERTY, AND WILL INCREASE TRAFFIC, CONGESTION AS WELL AS OVERCROWDING IN OUR SCHOOLS. IT HAS BEEN POINTED OUT THAT ALTHOUGH HEB OWNS THE PROPERTY IN QUESTION THERE IS NO REASON FOR IT TO SELL TO ANOTHER GROCERY STORE AND IT HAS 2 OTHER STORES NEARBY. PROBABLY THE PROPERTY WILL GO FOR A SMALL RETAIL STRIP CENTER OR EVEN AN OFFICE BUILDING, MOST LIKELY HIGHEST AND BEST USE. I BELIEVE WE ARE BEING MISLEAD BY THE "STATISTICS" WITH WHICH WE ARE BEING PRESENTED.

(SAN ANTONIO, TX, 2017-02-10)

#13

Opposed to apartments on blanco and wilderness oak

(San antonio, 2017-02-10)

#17

Traffic is already Horrendous on Blanco!
Until this is addressed it is a ridiculous proposal.

(SAN Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#19

I do not approve of City of San Antonio Plan Amendment 16084.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#21

Traffic

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#22

In an already congested area, traffic-wise an apartment complex is among the worst options that could be implemented

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#24

I am against apartments at proposed location.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#25

I oppose the rezoning because this will lower property values and increase traffic in the area.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#27

Opposed the apartment development at Blanco re & Wilderness Oak, San Antonio TX

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#29

I am AGAINST developing the land at Blanco Rd and Wilderness Oak. The traffic is already bad during rush hour and to add approximately 600 more vehicles to that area is very insane and irresponsible. I live in Stone Oak Meadows (directly across the street) and can never get out or into my subdivision during rush hour or even during peak hours. Even if a stop light is installed, there is gridlock on Wilderness Oak and Blanco that a stop light would not help. You develop areas but you do nothing to the infrastructure around the newly developed area that the homeowners living in that area suffer for more money for a city that does not use it correctly. Crime has also increased in the area and it will rise even more with an apartment complex across the street. Our property values will suffer and our homes will be much harder to sell with an apartment complex across the street.

(SAN Antonio , 2017-02-10)

#33

We are opposed to the City of San Antonio's Plan Amendment #16084. We already struggle with the heavy traffic at Wilderness Oak and Blanco Road. We feel strongly this is a terrible plan for that will compound existing problems of over-populated schools, traffic, and worries of lower property values. We say NO to this proposal!

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#37

I'm concerned with traffic problems due to a large amount of residents from an apartment complex. Traffic is already very congested at the intersection of Blanco and Wilderness Oak during peak times.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#38

I am against the Plan Amendment #16084. Would increase the traffic that is already to heavy.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#40

I vehemently oppose the construction of apartments at Wilderness Oak and Blanco. The traffic at this very intersection is already unbearable and the addition of more vehicles during rush hour will leave the residents of Stone Oak locked in traffic and unable to get to work/school etc.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#41

I oppose the proposed apartment complex at Wilderness Oak and Blanco rd.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-10)

#42

We don't need more traffic, especially with Hardy Oak still blocked.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#47

I am concerned for the safety of residents in nearby neighborhoods, possible crime increase, and congested schools in the district.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#50

I oppose the building of apartments at Blanco & Wilderness Oak - the area is already extremely congested and this will further cause problems that have not been planned for in this intersection and area

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#51

Increased traffic and crime in recent years has negatively impacted the quality of life for area residents, all of which also factors into our home values. We need more in the way of increased road capacity in the area before increasing the population.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-10)

#52

We already have too much traffic and crowed schools

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#54

homeowner

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#56

Our roads can't handle it and enough with the over packing of residence in the area.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#57

I am against the zoning being changed.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#58

I oppose the plan against the city of San Antonio plan admendment #16084 that proposes to re-zone the land at Wilderness Oaks and Blanco to urban Tier zone.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#59

I'm signing this petition because the long term harm that the proposed apartment building project would directly cause in our community.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#63

I am opposed to an apartment complex at the intersection of Blanco Road and Wilderness Oak on the grounds that another 300 or so vehicles in that area will add to the extremely conjested area. Especially during the morning and evening "rush hours". This intersection is already very dangerous and I have seen several fairly serious accident there.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#64

Against Apartment construction

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#69

Against the apartment development at Blanco Rd and Wilderness Oak, San Antonio TX

(San Antonio, 2017-02-10)

#70

I do not want an apartment complex at this site

(San antonio, 2017-02-10)

#73

The traffic is horrendous and the roads can not handle more volume!

(San antonio, 2017-02-10)

#75

The traffic in Stone is such that an additional 300 unit apartment complex will only exacerbate the already ridiculous situation. I am also against more apartments in this area as the crime has increased exponentially with each new complex that has been built!

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#76

Opposed to apartment complex being built at the intersection of Wilderness and Blanco Rd.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#77

I adamantly oppose rezoning the property on corner of Blanco and Wilderness Oak for the purpose of building apartments!

(San Antonio , 2017-02-11)

#79

Do not need more traffic problems and dense population

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#85

There is already so much traffic I don't want more on Blanco and crimeven rates will rise with more apartments.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#87

I oppose to build apartment complex across the street.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#88

I'm signing because I have been a resident here for 10 years now and these apartments are not needed. This can have a dramatic effect in our community. WE DON'T AGREE. DO NOT BUILD THESE!

(San Antonio , 2017-02-11)

#89

The current infrastructure will not support a complex of this size. Nor will the currently under strength police department.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#92

I oppose!

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#94

I oppose the plans to build a 300 unit apartment complex on Blanco Road and Wilderness Oak.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-11)

#96

No apartments! Period!

(San antonio, 2017-02-11)

#101

One of many concerns: There is only one exit and the street cannot handle that much traffic from 300 new apartments, Terra Bella, The Heights, Bent Tree plus HEB!

(San antonio, 2017-02-11)

#104

I'm in favor if this petition as I do not want apartments in this area due to traffic congestion and it will lower value of our area.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#106

there is already an overabundance of housing and traffic in this area.

we are landlocked by Camp Bullis and adding an additional 300 units (arguably 500 more vehicles) is going to drastically impact and already overcrowded area.

(san antonio, 2017-02-11)

#107

Already too much congestion. Fix infracture before adding to the problems that local residents experience on a daily basis.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#110

Crime in our neighborhood will increase with the addition of these apartments, including burglary, vehicle theft, and drunk driving.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#112

we are covered up out it with apartments, the traffic as increased and the crime is going up and up. We do not, do not, do not need more cars and traffic problems. Please, Please stop the addition of more apartments. Thank You

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#113

The traffic at that location already makes it dangerous to leave our subdivision. Adding apartments into the mix will only create a more dangerous situation

(San Antonio, TX, 2017-02-11)

#114

I oppose the building of an apartment complex at this location.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-11)

#119

I oppose the City of San Antonio Plan Amendment #16084.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#120

I want to keep the value of my neighborhood. Besides the roads are today are not enough for the current population, nevertheless for more people from an apartment complex.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#127

I'm signing because I feel that the traffic infrastructure around this area is already overloaded and Apartments increase that demand exponentially.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#128

Infrastructure (roads, water, police, etc.) in area is overloaded. Apartments will increase stress on infustructure exponentially.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#135

I have great concern regarding heavy traffic and water supply.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#136

Opposed to apartments amendment #16084.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-11)

#138

Please do not rezone the property. We are concerned about safety, traffic, and light emissions that will impact Camp Bullis across like a road.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-11)

#139

I live in the area. Traffic congestion is already a headache and will only increase if land is rezoned. Class sizes at area schools are already at max also and we don't need more development adding to the numbers.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#141

I'm signing because traffic in this area is already bad and we don't need apartment complexes adding to the congestion of the area.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-12)

#152

Too crowded and not designed for such heavy traffic and overflow of schools.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-12)

#153

I'm concerned about the amount of traffic that will be added to Wilderness Oak.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#166

Big Springs on Evans Rd. has been fighting the same problem. I am tired of seeing so many apartment complex's taking over what once was such a beautiful area. Schools will be affected and traffic a nightmare.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#168

Please don't make our lives any more congested.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#169

The infrastructure in this and surrounding areas cannot handle this complex.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#175

I work right there and rent is crazy high for small business owners

(San antonio, 2017-02-12)

#177

We do not need the extra traffic or crime that comes with dense housing.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#178

We cannot support the additional traffic, pedestrian or vehicular, in this area. We purchased homes in this area for the prestige. Apartment complexes do not add to our property values they lower them.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#180

I live north on Blanco in Timberwood Park and my child goes to Childrens Ligthouse on Gathering Oak and the traffic issue would be a big concern for me.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#181

The traffic is bad enough here. Can we talk someone into another gas station in the area?

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#182

This will cause even more traffic, accidents and over population not needed, causing more robberies to our homes.

(San Antonio , 2017-02-12)

#188

I don't think such density is good for this area.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#189

Traffic in Stone Oak is very high, there are also a multitude of apartment complexes in the area that only make our schools over crowded but increase traffic. Wilderness and Blanco do not need any additional apartment complexes.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#190

There is enough congestion without adding to it at this time.

(san antonio, 2017-02-12)

#191

I live within 5 miles of said project and in my opinion time to STOP development until SA fixes all current traffic issues

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)

#194

Oppose!

(San Antonio, TX, 2017-02-12)

#200

I do not want an apartment put in at Blanco and Wilderness Oaks.

(San Antonio, 2017-02-12)
