(Dublin , 2017-02-17)

#6

my family have used them a few times and they are amazing at what they do

(dublin , 2017-02-17)

#17

Because with them alot of people and families wouldn't be here today

(Donabate , 2017-02-17)

A service that is essential and works so well should never be downgraded or dismantled. It is testament to the quality of the service provided by Dublin Fire Brigade that so many from other cities around the world have visited and inspected our service and decided to implement a similar service in their jurisdiction. Why is it then that our authorities see fit to do the opposite. TDs and councillors be aware that I and many others will watch who supports and opposes this disastrous change and will reflect appropriately in the ballot box.

My son my brother and my son in law are all firefighters in DFB they do an incredible job and they only want the best for the people who they look after day and night the powers that be should be ashamed of themselves that it has come to this dfb only want to better the service they offer and this is why they want more ambulances and that they are allowed to continue to look after us and not let the ambulance service go to the Hse

(Dublin , 2017-02-17)

#21

DFB are saving so many lives as first responders in medical emergencies. SHE ambulances are stuck in our over crowded A & E departments with no cover. By taking this service away more people's lives are being put at risk. Havn't the people of this city sufferers enough.

(Dublin, 2017-02-17)

My dad was a fireman and gave his life for his job. Firemen and ambulance men are heroes

(Dublin , 2017-02-17)

#25

It was the fire brigade ambulance that brought my dad to the mater when there was no other ambulance available.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#28

We have a brilliant service and I want to keep it. Politicians have broken everything else in this country, leave the fire and ambulance service alone.

(Coolock, Dublin 17, 2017-02-18)

#33

Lives are
at risk!

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

Dublin is the second safest city in the world to have a cardiac arrest thanks to the role played by dual trained DFB personnel. They need more resources, fire appliances & ambulances & additional personnel. Don't cut a service that provides excellent value for money & clearly saves lives. Support DFB by expanding their service instead of taking away from it.

(Kildare, 2017-02-18)

#36

I'm sick to death of cuts been made in this country and its the real people of dublin and around the country that suffer. It's our families and friends dying on trolleys in our hospitals and the youth of this country been taken down with suicide that effects everyone. And we have our current government to thank for that!!!!

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#40

They don't get enough credit for all the hard work they do, their taken for granted majorly, it's unfair and it has to stop!

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#44

Irish ppl need to support each other in reclaiming our country and our rights !

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#48

We need a proper service for all of our citizens

#51

We need this service

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#53

i agree strongly

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#57

Support the fire brigade

(dublin, 2017-02-18)

#61

Cause the HSE couldn't run a bath the health service is a shambles and now they want to take over the running of the ambulance service ran by DCFB my answer to this is don't try break something thats not broken

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#72

DCC & Owen Keegan cannot be allowed to destroy our Dublin Fire Brigade ambulance service

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#74

Support these brave men & women who place their lives on the line to support you!

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#75

Dfb are amazing and should continue to do the job they are best at. Hse leave them what they good at.

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#78

Leave our fire department alone.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#79

It does not make sense to brake up a system that works that other city's want to replicate and to hand it over to the HSE .

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#83

I'm signing this petition because I believe in this and support the fire brigade fully.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#86

I believe if it's not broken why try fix it ???

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#88

The hse can't even look after the services it provides already never mind taken on an extra work load

(dublin, 2017-02-18)

#95

I personally know many fire fighters who have Tirelessly done this work for many years. I think to take this from them and put it in the hands of the hse (who from my personal experience can't organise a piss up in a brewery) would be a huge public disservice.

(Greystones, 2017-02-18)

#97

The HSE can't look after what they are already meant to, add this on to it and people will die..leave it with the fire brigade it works as it is

(Ringsend, 2017-02-18)

#99

We need dublin firebrigade fire and AMBULANCE services!!!!

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#100

The thought of the Hse running the ambulances frightens the life out of me and makes me scared for the health of Dublins future citizens

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#103

Dublin Fire Brigade have been providing an amazing combined Fire/Emergency Medical Service (EMS) service to the people of Dublin for over 150 years...all Fire Fighters in DFB are also highly trained paramedics, some are also Advanced Paramedics...Dublin is the 2nd safest place in the world in which to suffer an out of hospital cardiac arrest...I for one want to keep it that way...support DFB...

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#109

Solidarity!

(Dubln, 2017-02-18)

#110

Dublin fire brigade are at the scene in my area in a matter of minutes .Moving the ems elsewhere would only delay response times.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#111

If it's not broken don't mess it up if anything should be investing in the service

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#113

Because the fire service are absolutely invaluable to us and they put their lives at risk everyday for us. Absolute heroes

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#115

The DFB system is recognised as the bench mark for EMS and as someone who works this system., the proposed will cost life's. As this is difficult to prove, in my experience with dealing with the other agencies (who also do a great job) the system DFB operates is the way forward. It can hardly be any more obvious when other first responders worldwide are beginning to follow the DFB way.

(Trim, 2017-02-18)

#117

As a former DFB member I'm disgusted with what is happening to the finest men and women that are currently serving the citizens of our great City. Politicians are again playing with lives.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#118

The h s e can't look after the services they have !!
This is an important service and there is no need to change it

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#120

Its an outrage to try and belittle such a huge part of our society they save loves with these services they need to have all the resources possible

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#122

This country is falling to pieces

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#124

The Dublin Fire Rescue and Ambulance Service is of world class standard and is a prime example of the emerging principle of Fire biased EMS that is quickly becoming the benchmark worldwide. It has served the people of Dublin with pride and dedication for over 150 years please now support it.

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#131

They did tremendous work when my father was crushed on the docks. Unfortunately he didn't survive, but the men in North Strand did what the could and that is good enough for me. Also needed them myself and for my godson. 100% behind them...

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#135

Its essential to Dublin the dfb ambulance service. And it works amazingly well currently. They're reaponse times are the best in Europe. Having all dfb station staff trained to paramedic level and above is an gift to all dublin citizens. If we lose this service it will be the biggest mistake to happen ever in dublin city and beyond. Its the save net dublin has currently.

(DUBLIN, 2017-02-18)

#136

The DFB Fire based EMS is the best model for delivering emergency medical services in Dublin. DFB have been doing this since 1898

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#137

They provide a brilliant essential service

I am supporting my colleagues as I am a firefighter too.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

Supporting men & women doing a challenging job to keep us safe and save our lives

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#153

Ems/fire is operated in most major city's around the world and increases the survival rate.

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#154

This is the final straw I'm afraid. Eoin Keegan needs to go before he destroys the Brigade

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#160

The lads do an excellent job and there is absolutely no reason to change it

(dublin, 2017-02-18)

#175

We need to keep these highly trained and highly professionals men and woman looking after us.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#177

I value all our emergency Services and the fab loyal service they give. He needs to wake up and listen to the public. Leave fire brigade ambulance as it is. If you need to save money , get rid of your overpaid pen pushers instead

(Co Meath, 2017-02-18)

#179

I support dublin firemen on this issue

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#181

It's a disgrace that the firebrigade is not in TOTAL control of our emergency service as they are fantastic at they're jobs and they care for the people of this country unlike our government and council officials who only care about how much more money they can fit in their own pockets. I back the firebrigade 100%.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#184

To protect the services as they stand

(Longford, 2017-02-18)

#191

We need a quick response to accidents and people who are kept a live through CPR after having a heart attack.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#193

We have all used this very professional service and as the population gets bigger more resources are needed.
Save Dublin Fire Brigade and Ambulance service.

(Dublin, 2017-02-18)

#194

I'm signing because the existing fire/EMS based model is not only international best practice it is also the best model for achieving a solid Chain of Survival. If an ambulance isn't available a fire truck will be dispatched.

(Dublin , 2017-02-18)

#197

I want to support the Firebrigade Service because they do invluable work in the community

(dublin, 2017-02-18)
