We demand the leadership of CHFT, GHCCG & CCCG be replaced

#201

We need a full emergency facility in Huddersfield.

(Huddersfield , 2017-07-21)

#202

These people are a disgrace and need to be removed.

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-21)

#204

I am signing this because ,we need our A&E

(hudds, 2017-07-21)

#205

Huddersfield is a large town that needs it's own A/E.

(Holmfirth, 2017-07-21)

#207

I don't live in the town anymore, but my parents and children, and grandchildren do, and I feel very strongly that bieng the largest town in the UK seriously needs to keep their hospital and A & E department, these services are essential for the whole community, On a personal level, my children were born at this hospital, my parents have received fantastic care over the years from the wonderful staff at HRI, it would be an absolute tragedy and miscarriage of justice if these services were taken away from the people of Huddersfield.

(Wakefield, 2017-07-21)

#208

We need our hospital and far too far to travel to Calderdale for I'll people and visitors. The roads cannot cope with extra traffic. H.R.I. is a perfectly good hospital. We do not need Calderdale's debt in Huddersfield

(Holmfirth, 2017-07-21)

#211

I want to save HRI. Because its vital to our community. We have a large town with a massive university Two big college's. We have Syngenta a massive plant down leeds road. Plus a premiership football club with 25.000 fans at a home match. There are areas of Huddersfield which are so far away from CRH. Lots of people cannot afford all the travel expenses that will cost.some pts need treatment 2 and 3 times a week.
The by pass is another story especially in rush hour. The list is endless. And god for bid. Should it happen but if there was a terrorist attack. It does not bare thinking about.
It's common sence that we don't lose HRI. All these so called plans the CCG have don't take into account all of these issues. Not to mention the loss of valuable jobs. It's common sense. If only they would take the blinkers of their eyes. And live in the real world.

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-21)

#214

I am strongly against losing our hospital and to let a set of numpties think they know best, WELL they don't.get rid of them all

(Huddersfield , 2017-07-21)

#215

Population of Huddersfield needs a hospital big enough to cope with amount of people.Calder dale will struggle to serve both extensive towns sufficiently well .The parking is inadequate the distances for patients to travel is ridiculous. Leave HRI alone.

(Huddersfield , 2017-07-21)

#216

it is simply wrong for a town the size of Huddersfield to be left with effectively a cottage hospital, I will gladly pay more income tax to support the NHS

(holmbridge, 2017-07-21)

#217

Given the vast area/ population of Kirklees served by HRI presently, any person with a modicum of intelligence can see that a) the loss of beds b) transfer times c) Urgent care centre without a qualified dr just adds up to a life threatening shambles. The CCG & CHFT have proved at best incompetence and at worst ,total disrespect & misleading the public with this consultation.

(Holmfirth , 2017-07-21)

#220

I live in Meltham which is some distance from Calder dale Hospital and fear for my family's safety if they have to travel there rather than being taken to HRI in an emergency. People will die on the notorious Elland bypass. This ridiculous decision will cost lives and is a nonsense that one of the biggest towns in the country will not have a fully functioning hospital.

(Huddersfield , 2017-07-22)

#225

I'm signing because I just feel needs a hospital ! Duh !

(Phuket , 2017-07-23)

#228

I am horrified that bad management is potentially destroying our local A&E facility!!
It literally saved my Mums life last year if we had to go to Calderdale she could have died the distance is way too far if you live east of the town

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-23)

#230

Too many reasons to name / this is wrong on every level. We need our hospital and you are accountable to us. Do the right thing &admit you are out of your depth!

(Hudder, 2017-07-23)

#234

I am doing this for everyone halifax &huddersfield as we both deserve the emergency servis and as for having no children servis that's just dam rite wrong I hope the people who make the decision understand the wrong one will cost lives and I thought saving lives was what the health servis did

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-23)

#235

We need our A and E at Huddersfield Royal and feel it should be not be closed down.

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-24)

#242

However well-intentioned they were at the beginning, they are now out of their depth and cannot cope with the enormous decisions to be made.

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-25)

#243

The powers of the commissioners and trustees should be transferred to democratically-elected councillors.

(Dewsbury, 2017-07-25)

#244

We need to retain our A+E.
With the mismanagement of PFI at Calderdale, why on earth would they sign up for more debt.....
Population growing as it is in Huddersfield.... no A+E - JOKE!!!!

(Huddersfield, 2017-07-29)

#245

The CCGs proposals are unsafe and the above groups have already shown they are clearly incompetent to carry out their duties.

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-03)

#246

It is rediculous that I should travel to South Yorkshire or Lancashire to access my nearest A&E. Getting to Halifax is approximately 45 minutes on a good day and it takes over an hour to get an ambulance in the village already. Utter joke!

(Huddersfield , 2017-08-03)

#247

It's disgusting that it's even a consideration to close OUR HRI that we West Yorkshire people have paid for!!!!!. Not the rich cunting***** wits that are playing games with it

(Huddersfield , 2017-08-03)

#248

There are many reasons, not lesat the travelling time and a 64 bed hospital with no A &E in a town with a growing university and a Premier league football team. Lives will be put at risk and lost.

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-03)

#250

The need sort out the rubbish

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-03)

#253

This decision is totally wrong and the people behind it need to resign

(Huddersfield , 2017-08-03)

#256

These bunch of cronies must go now what right have they to play at being god can't fault Huddersfield royal excellent staff when my eldest daughter went in due to an accident the staff listened to what I said she had an operation woke up from the anaesthetic straight away the dressing under the pot stated where it was however the hospital at Halifax wouldn't recommend she had a further check up at calderdale hospital needed another pot after 2 weeks the dressing slipped when she went for surgery at calderdale hospital they gave her too much anaesthetic and took her a long time to come round staff at calderdale hospital unable to understand what I was saying and eventually I gave them a right roasting considering she has learning difficulties I had eventually gave them an ultimatum and told them what I thought of them

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-03)

#257

I feel that the people of Kirklees are being treated badly

(Huddersfield , 2017-08-03)

#258

We need a Hospital in a university town which is large enough to be a city! No question!!!!

(huddersfield , 2017-08-04)

#259

The plan to close HRI and reduce beds is so dangerous, how can this happen? No confidence in the leadership at all.

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-04)

#264

These ideas make no sense from a patient care closer to home perspective, a financial one or otherwise.

(Halifax, 2017-08-05)

#266

Huddersfield needs its own hospital with proper services

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-10)

#267

It is in my opinion going to put lives at risk if the plans go ahead. Those making these plans need to experience treatment in Halifax where they are clearly understaffed and don't have sufficient beds as it is. If they still think these plans are appropriate then they are negligent!

(Huddersfield, 2017-08-14)

#268

I'm signing because the CCG are acting with arrogance and contempt towards the people they are supposed to be caring for. They are advocating an untried solution for which they refuse to disclose the projected costs (which the public will have to pay for) whilst spending unnecessary money on consultants to divert attention from their deficiencies.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#269

Huddersfield needs and deserves HRI. It is not the people of Huddersfield who should be punished because of a PFI in a neighbouring town that WE have to fund. The CCG are totally incompetent and need to go. Their attitude is and always has been dictatorial and cavalier in nature. They are putting the health and in some cases the inevitable deaths that will occur if this failing business plan is implemented. It is ill thought out with no legitimate sense of working. Remove them leave Huddersfield Royal alone fantastic hospital with dedicated staff.

(Holmfirth , 2017-09-13)

#270

I think the CCG are making a huge mistake and don't want to listen to people's concerns. They are burying their heads in the sand!

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#271

We need a Fully equipped Hospital in our Town and these clowns haven't a clue

(HUDDERSFIELD, 2017-09-13)

#274

Very worried over the situation over losing our hospital altogether

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#280

I do not feel the present members of the ccg are competent and are acting the interests of the people of huddersfield and Halifax .

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#283

I have no confidence in the leadership of the Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Huddersfield and Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Groups. And I demand resignations and/or replacements.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#285

Reducing the number of beds in HRI and getting rid of its A and E department is crazy and lives will unfortunately be lost if this goes ahead.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#286

Any sensible person can understand that closing our A and E service is a ridiculous decision. Our large town in growing continuously and the university brings thousands of students to our town as well. We must have a decent hospital and operational A and E service.
Additionally the VERY REAL problems getting emergencies to Halifax hospital is a fact that cannot be denied. We travelled to Halifax a few weeks ago and were held up on the road from Huddersfield, which was totally backed up. Apart from the dangers presented by this, it is a severe problem for out patients and visitors, who have to travel there by car, or worse still, the bus.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#288

Well said, Let's Save HRI. These people are not trusted and not competent and will end up destroying our vital health services, unless they are removed.

(Holmfirth, 2017-09-13)

#289

I do not believe they have the public's best interest ,and are not taking seriously the effect closing h.r.i will have on folks health

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#290

I do not believe they have the public's best interest ,and are not taking seriously the effect closing h.r.i will have on folks health

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#291

Huddersfield needs a dedicated hospital ! Simple as that !

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#292

I am wanting to sign this petion as moving our hospital services is going to put lives at risk.Transport links to and from Halifax either by car or by public transport is not realistic. Many people will die due to these changes. They havnt thought about the costs that people will have to face either by car public transport or by taxior by parking. The services at Huddersfield are excellent and to move our services may mean the services are not as good.I have personally experienced the services for Huddersfield hospital and I cannot complain at all .The nurses the doctors and all exceptional providing excellent care.

(huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#294

3 years and they still can't tell us anything about this because they're still trying to figure out how to fit a square peg into a round hole.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#295

The proposals are ludicrous, dangerous and in no way representative of the very people they serve. The decisions seem to be based on their own financial shortcomings and not what is best for the people of Huddersfield.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#296

Losing HRI to save money will cost lives!

(Wakefield, 2017-09-13)

#299

The plan having been changed 4 times now beggars belief. Have no faith our confidence in the CCG or CHFT managers.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#300

We need our hospital and our A&European! !

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#303

I don't think these people represent the views of the people of Huddersfield

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#304

I want to help to save our hospital it's a good hospital and we need to stand together and keep it open

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#305

HRI needs to stay

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#306

For a leg town like Hudds with a leg University to lose its A&E and be reduced to 64 beds. Is absolutely diabolical, unthinkable any sane body of people could think this was ok

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#307

I want save our HRI because it's too far to Halifax.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#311

They are totally out of line.

(huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#315

because we need to change of leadership sooner rather than later we need hri

(huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#319

I have no confidence in the so called professionals who are trying to get our hospital closed down. The two hospitals should never have been joined together. No more pfi agreement.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#321

The whole idea of closure at the HRI is not common sense. Whoever as thought this up or been involved is a total idiot and should no longer hold any position paid for or not in this matter.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#322

WE ARE THE BIGGEST TOWN IN THE UK AND WE NEED OUR HOSPITAL. THE POPULATION IS GOING ONE WAY, WE CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED TO DECEND ON THE CALDER ROYAL, BRI, BRANSLEY, PONTE OR LEEDS HOSPITALS. WE DESERVE OUR OWN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. HUDDERSFIELD DESERVES A HOSPITAL THAT MEETS THE DEMAND. THAT DEMAND WILL NOT GO AWAY.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#324

I want to save my amazing hospital and amazing A&E Department and the jobs of the fantastic staff that work there. If not lives will be lost!

(Holmfirth, 2017-09-13)

#325

We need a hospital and the people making the decession are not fit to do the job

(huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#328

This is about saving money not improving healthcare - pure and simple. Why should the public have to pay the price with their health and welfare for poor financial decisions made years ago by incompetent trust managers?

(Elland, 2017-09-13)

#330

It takes 30 minutes to get to hri from Holmfirth. I dread to think what could happen during the journey to Halifax. Sometimes takes 40 or 50 minutes depending on the time of day and traffic.

(Holmfirth , 2017-09-13)

#332

This directly affects my family and friends.

(Bradford , 2017-09-13)

#338

I have no faith in the trust to be working in the best interest of local people

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#341

The Idea of Shutting HRI BEGGARS BELIEF and COMMON SENSE.it all seems to be PFI used to build Halifax Hospital @ £ X Million now Debt SHARED !!!! with HRI and to rub salt into the Equation if a new SMALLER HOSPITAL is Built it will be done with PFI you could not make this up!!!! KEEP HRI OPEN as it IS

(Skemanthorpe, 2017-09-13)

#344

I believe the CCG groups and the leadership of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation trust are completely out of their depth and it is time for them to resign.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#345

We need our hospital we store Abigail town

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#346

Halifax hospital will never be able to cope with the addiction of Huddersfield, we are a major university town which is growing all the time, it is imperative that we keep Huddersfield Royal Infirmary

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#348

This is my Hospital and it cannot close, Huddersfield is a large town we need a hospital here. The parking at Calderdale is absolutely ridiculous especially when you have an elderly parent to take to clinics.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#350

We need our hospital , will these people be responsible for the fatalities, if they close HRI , someone needing emergency assistance stuck on the motorway trying to get to Calderdale it's definitely not on !!

(Wakefield , 2017-09-13)

#351

Because we live in a big town that requires an A and E. to get to Calderdale hospital at times has taken me over an hour when the traffic has been back logged. It will be the worst mistake they have ever made to close our a and e and could possibly add to the death rate.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#356

They've behaved disgracefully and need to go !

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#358

I'm signing because the facts re the size of Huddersfield make the retaining of a fully functional hospital to serve the town and it's outlying areas non negotiable. This is not an emotive decision but based on the size and demand for services which Calderdale Hospital would be unable to meet.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#362

Huddersfield is a large town (it was almost named as a city at one point) and as such NEEDS it's own ER WE need our own hospital in our town..not travelling to Calderdale...

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#363

I want the incompetent CCG members to stop telling lies, creating a false belief that their actions are right for our Town.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#367

Our town need an A&E dept and a hospital we have been purposely mislead on the consultation

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#368

Disgusted with the members of the CCG. Huddersfield is the largest Town in West Yorkshire with a very large University Calderdale struggling now. We need our iwn A&E

(Huddersfielf, 2017-09-13)

#370

The ccg are not fit for purpose

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#371

Huddersfield needs a full hospital and a+e

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#376

HRI is a necessity in a town with a growing population

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#378

I fully support saving HRI

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#381

Huddersfield needs its own A&E and hospital, the congestion getting ambulances through to Halifax is ridiculous and even when the roadworks are finished in 1 years time there will still be congestion putting peoples lives at risk

(Elland, 2017-09-13)

#382

the decision is farcical and the proposal will cost many lives.

(huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#383

I am from Huddersfield originally ... it is the biggest TOWN in England and MUST have its own A&E dept

(Leeds, 2017-09-13)

#384

I believe heads should roll for the cock up they are causing

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#385

I am signing because I strongly believe that we need a fully functional hospital in our area. The population numbers and large diverse areas covered by HRH make it essential in order to get any treatment needed and quick access to save lives in an emergency situation.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-13)

#387

We need our hospital!

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-13)

#391

I worked for Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for over 40 years, and am appalled at how this fine Hospital has been run, to the detriment of the people it is there to help.

(HUDDERSFIELD, 2017-09-14)

#399

This farce has gone long enough. It is about time these people were taken to task gor their inadequacies and replaced by someone who actually care and know what they are doing.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)
