We demand the leadership of CHFT, GHCCG & CCCG be replaced

I have no confidence in the above mentioned and I am gravely concerned about the potential loss of A&E in Huddersfield especially with loss of A&E at Dewsbury. Our town is too large to not be supported by its own A&E

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-14)

#402

I am signing because I believe that the architects of the debacle are not fir for purpose.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-14)

#405

They do not know what they are doing and are not listening to the public in our town their proposals are barbaric and if they are allowed to go ahead it will cost lives

(Holmfirth , 2017-09-14)

#407

huddersfield is the eleventh largest town in england with the addition of thousands of students coming each year to close the A&E dept and also lose wards is just stupid.the people who got us in the mess should go they wouldnt mortgage there own homrs the way they have the hospital.if we had not had an A&E i would now probably be dead due to kidney failure

(huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#408

the people of Huddersfield need a fully functioning hospital and the people in charge of making those decisions are incapable of doing what's right

(huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#410

Bad decisions

(HUDDERSFIELD , 2017-09-14)

#412

This action by the Trust is stupid and can only lead to more problems which are bad enough now with the latest decisions about health care and we are been sent to pinderfields

(Brighouse , 2017-09-14)

#413

They are incompetent. Should be sacked - without any severance pay of course.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#414

I am signing this petition because I believe the plans to close HRI at Huddersfield are absolutely ludicrous. If we hadn't joined with CRH and taken on their sbt we wouldn't be in this position.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#415

I'm signing because I care about the quality of Healthcare provision in my home town Huddersfield.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-14)

#416

I agree with the demand.

( Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#417

Huddersfield deserves an A&E department that is properly funded & connected to a full hospital with enough beds for the local population. Dropping down to 64 beds is an utter joke. HRi saved my dad's life, they still treat him for cancer to this day & they saved my life last week when my appendix needed removing. Why is a hospital with ample space & resources being choked into failure? Please give our town the respect it deserves.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#418

We in Huddersfield need and should have this hospital it cost a fortune to travel to Halifax and back as I am slightly disabled

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#419

The plan for restructuring smacks of corruption and self interest and would leave one of the largest towns in the country with only 64 hospital beds at a time when other nearby towns are downgrading their facilities.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#421

If I had made mistakes like these I'd have been sacked and so should they!

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#423

I believe the leadership of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust have made too many bad decisions and there should be resignations or replacements.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-14)

#426

Their decision is wrong. We need a bigger A&E in Huddersfield , we are a constantly growing town , virtually a city and if the ones in charge of the decision making for the future of HRI/A&E aren't capable of making a proper valid decision to benefit the town then they should be replaced by someone who is capable.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-14)

#428

I want to keep a full hospital in one of the biggest towns in Europe I think it would be a disaster if it was to move

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-15)

#435

I'm signing because this is the biggest joke I known we have people running hospitals that are suppose to give a dam n care about us but instead they want help kill us instead wanting people to travel miles to another district get stuck in traffic onway the way these people need there jobs terminating n kicked out of the profession

(huddersfield, 2017-09-26)

#439

The panel that make up the CCG are not listening to the majority of the public. This is a cost saving exercise and to hell with the consequences for the people of Huddersfield. The PFI on Calderdale signed the death warrant on the HRI the day they signed the contract.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-26)

#442

i am a local, i have lived in huddersfield since birth. we need our own hospital.

(huddersfield, 2017-09-26)

#443

I survived & owe my life to HRI the CCG want to close it and are not listening to the public which they are meant to serve! Sack them.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-26)

#447

They need to go!!

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-26)

#448

I have no confidence in what decisions theCCG are making for the people of Huddersfield , they are not considering what is the right safest thing to do for this very large town.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-26)

#450

We NEED a fully working fully staffed accident and emergency hospital. No confidence in ccg .Huddersfield is a growing large town if not one for the biggest TOWN . Growing university premier football team . I have no faith in the ccg. Leave it alone.

(Hu, 2017-09-26)

#451

I'm signing because moving services to Halifax will put Huddersfield people's lives at risk.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-26)

#455

They are trying in there underhanded way to close our local hospital and a+e. This town is way too big for that.. N a big uni town at that!

(Holmfirth, 2017-09-26)

#457

terry Kimmage

(huddersfield, 2017-09-26)

#463

Because this idea at best is daft at worse will endanger lives any one from Skelmanthorpe / Clayton West will so long it's just daft 3 to 4 bus if no ambulance avaliable and no bus route Barnsley

(Huddersfielx, 2017-09-27)

#466

I believe in the aims of Let’s Save HRI .

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#468

I have no trust in the leaders and doers!
They have no natural instinct to protect the local community or its hospital.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#469

We need our local hospital and a and e department to stay open to provide local care to our local community. We should not have to travel miles and mile to get health care for a service we actually pay for ourselves

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#472

It’s an important local resource and should not close and the leader ship have they have shown a level of incompetence that is unacceptable!

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#475

They have lost the trust and confidence of all they are there to represent

(London, 2017-09-27)

#482

For the people of Huddersfield

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#484

I live in Huddersfield & feel strongly that we need to keep our HRI.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#485

Huddersfield is a major Unibversity Town with a growing Population that should not be made to pay for mistakes at CRI

(HUDDERSFIELD, 2017-09-27)

#486

Closing HRI is not an option a town the size of Huddersfield needs its own hospital. Let's face facts this is being down for one reason only and that is to bail out the massive debt of Calderdale at the expense of the people of Huddersfield. NO THANKYOU Huddersfield will look after its own.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#493

Something HAS TO CHANGE from this ridiculous situation

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#494

Because I'm right behind you. My daughter is disabled we need our hospital.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#497

I am confounded that these people have been allowed to carry on, given all the disgust felt by most, towards their lack of clarity, openness and honesty regarding this major effects that decisions they are making will have!

(Huddersfield west Yorkshire, 2017-09-27)

#500

They are not fit for purpose

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#501

The trust and CCG are incompetent.
HRI is debt free Halifax should have to stand alone to rectify its mistakes on borrowing from loan sharks.
The people of Huddersfield deserve respect and a fully functioning hospital.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#506

I'm signing because this belongs to the people of huddersfield and is not for sale !

(Holmfirth, 2017-09-27)

#509

I have depended on HRI in the past for my four children and I would like Huddersfield's huge population plus our visiting students to be able to access ALL hospital services easily.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#510

Im from Hudds. My daughter was born at HRI and its ridiculous to imagine that the traffic clogged road to Halifax would ensure that the new provision could equal the old when access to lifesaving specialist and equipment would certainly be delayed for residents of Kirklees, even without the clogged up access.

(Etchingham, 2017-09-27)

#511

I work in th NHS as a mental health nurse and people attend A/E out of hours for help to see the mental health nurse .. We need to save our NHS or where will they go... to Halifax in an emergency . Don't think that's an option

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-27)

#516

we need our HRI

(huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#517

You cannot justify one hospital to cover Calderdale and Kirkleatham the combined population is just two large and sending patients outside of the area is just ridiculous, not everyone has transport or funds to travel to see their relatives say in Wakefield or Sheffield if they live in Huddersfield and I certainly would want to be close to my family. Yet again it would seem the private businesses are calling the shots to use the Huddersfield hospital grounds to build new houses to hold more people we haven't got the infrastructure for.

(Brighouse , 2017-09-27)

#519

We have to save our hospitals!!

(West yorkshire, 2017-09-27)

#523

We have been let down by HRI for years, both my family and I.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#526

I'm signing because I am Huddersfield born and bred and my children, brother and his family all still live in the town.

(Beverley, 2017-09-27)

#528

I value my local hospital

(Kirkburton Huddersfield, 2017-09-27)

#530

Ì believe the CCG have spread lies and not given the Huddersfield people the true facts on the proposal to close HRI A&E. We are being punished for a merger of the NHS Trusts years ago. Calderdale have overspent on CRI and we are bailing them out with our closure. If this goes through the CCG have blood on their hands.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-28)

#534

We are one of the largest towns in England and we need s fully functioning hospital.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-28)

#541

I am signing because this hospital is too important to lose, there is a genuine need.
also I volunteer there at Libby and berties so feel even more strongly though I would anyway x

(huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#542

I'm signing because a town this large needs a fully operational hospital, absolutely crazy sending people to Halifax.

(mirfield, 2017-09-28)

#547

I'm signing because I feel we need this hospital to stay open.Too far to go elsewhere especailly for the elderly and people with young children. Also some people only have public transport to rely on so distance is vital.Huddersfield needs it's own hospital.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-28)

#549

We need both Huddersfield and Dewsbury hospital to remain open. We already face waiting list for appointments of up to 6 months, with both these hospitals open. If either of these were closed we would be facing waits even longer. How are people going to get to appointments at hospitals more than 10 mile from home. In an emergency people are going to die because of long journey to hospital.

(Batley, 2017-09-28)

#550

It is a disgusting thought that Huddersfield would not have an A&E hospital due to the bad management decisions made to build the Halifax hospital.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#551

It's time to put an end to these idiot political theories, it's time for the people to stand up.

(Ingleton, ex Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#555

I'm signing this petition because I have no faith in the leadership teams to do what is the best interests of the people of Huddersfield or Halifax. They have there own agenda which is not compatible with the future of the towns

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#557

i strongly believe that the CCG is out of it's depth ,and they do not inspire in me any confidence that they will be able to carry out their flawed plans.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#558

I'm signing because people need this hospital.

(Birkenhead, 2017-09-28)

#559

I live in Calderdale and with Huddersfield close my local hospital will be put under too much pressure to deliver a service we all deserve. Also for the people of Huddersfield having to travel so far for care. This is not fair for any of us.

(Sowerby Bridge , 2017-09-28)

#560

We need HRI as Dewsbury is also being downgraded

(Mirfield, 2017-09-28)

#562

I am a Huddersfield resident and have supported the save HRI campaign from the outset.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#565

The future plans do not provide the bed capacity required to meet the needs of the community.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#566

to keep our hospital open we need them

(hu9 4ab, 2017-09-28)

#570

I'm signing this because my family have a lot to be grateful the Doctors and staff at HRI.
There is a need for Huddersfield to have an A/E department, lets think about the people who live out in rural areas. Let's think about the already over stretched ambulance service and the impact on them.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-28)

#571

These people are not taking notice of the people paying their wages. They say they cannot get out of PFI contracts but yet Labour have just stated that they will cancel them. Who's telling the truth? This is where the problem is. Time to come clean.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-28)

#574

Huddersfield should have cover of a&e There are more people live in Huddersfield than Halifax I dont think the people of Halifax would like to travel to Huddersfield for a&e cover

(Holmfirth, 2017-09-28)

#578

Even though I don't live locally, I believe that our NHS services are a great thing, and that the HRI should be saved. Also, a 64 bed facility sounds a totally inadequate replacement

(Belper, 2017-09-29)

#579

its disgusting the monies the government award themselves ,then go hell bent shutting hospitals in much needed areas its time this country came first and save the NHS .

(Carnforth, 2017-09-29)

#580

I totally believe in all the points stated in the letter. Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Greater Huddersfield and Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Groups do NOT have my trust to act upon the best interest of Huddersfield and the surrounding districts..... When a trust won't listen to the member's within the group, then surely they can't act for them?

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-29)

#581

The running down of the NHS has to stop !...the future plans of Hunt & his cronies to sell off the buildings & land of former NHS sevices to his rich property speculating chums needs bringing to a halt. Sign this petition & any future petitions concerning any closures, you know it makes sense !!

(Leeds, 2017-09-29)

#582

As you say Calderdale will not cope with all the extra people coming into Halifax we need both hospitals

(Halifax, 2017-09-29)

#583

we are told there are going to be more
houses built, the number of University students is increasing Therefore we need
at least the original numb er of beds proposed and a full A&E

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-29)

#584

I have no confidence or trust as current leadership plans are not considering the Huddersfield residents or the university students. Huddersfield needs an A/E department and an increase in beds.

(Huddersfield, 2017-09-29)

#586

This is my local hospital and it would be a disaster for our community if it was to go. There are too many people in this town especially if you include the university students.

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-29)

#589

its wrong to lose a good hospital

(Bradford, 2017-09-30)

#591

I'm signing this petition because I want to save our hospital. It's vital to everyone in our community. And my grandchildren future. It would be a catastrophic disaster should the CCG Get their way. This has been a disaster in the planning and badly advised and not thought through of the grave conciquences

(Huddersfield , 2017-09-30)

#594

I am from Huddersfield & all my family live there. The population of Huddersfield is growing at a rate of knots especially with all the new university accommodation and even more planned,. moving emergency services to Halifax is ludicrous but I have grown to expect nothing less from the powers that be who don't even appear to share a complete brain cell between them....shame on you all

(Omagh, 2017-09-30)

#595

We need more hospitals, not less. We're expected to take in more immigrants, which I'm not opposed to, but we do not have the resources to deal with the implications of the added health care needed. Having to travel further for medical care endangers patients and increases travel cost/maintenance of emergency vehicles and added stress on the already overworked workforces.

(Wakefield, 2017-09-30)
