Every person, who will be further from A&E as a result of this planned closure, will have their health and possibly their life, compromised.

I want my hospital in Huddersfield. Ccg have to go

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1215

Our town deserves a hospital and these so called experts are not consulting the public which should be their main focus

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1216

These plans are dangerous. The social and community care in this country, never mind regionally, is not properly funded or organised to be able to cope with the extra demand from hospitals losing a large number of beds.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1218

I'm signing because the ccg has no regard for the people of Huddersfield and with recent events a total disregard of consultation

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1219

I am a concerned resident in the area and know well what it is like just to travel around from A to B. Traffic is already heavy en-route to Halifax and will be made impossible by the increases in just the daily visits to Calderdale Hospital.
No one wants to travel a much longer distance to get to hospital services and it beggars belief that a so called "Expert" would "Recommend" a Longer journey! All the above has been said repeatedly but is being ignored.
The bosses of this venture can not win this argument logically because it does not add-up. It does not make sense. That is why it will be Steam-Rollered into place.

(HOLMFIRTH, 2017-11-02)

#1220

They don't listen to the public, and are definitely not doing the best for Huddersfield.

(Brighouse, 2017-11-02)

#1222

These idiots and their actions will kill people

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1226

I can sympathise with the people of Huddersfield, my own local health trust is also out of their depth and blundering on seemingly oblivious to the lack of confidence and trust that local people have in them and their plans.

(Grantham, 2017-11-02)

#1228

Because I’m hoping my signature will help bolster the numbers of saving our hospital.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1229

I have no trust in the ccg

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1231

Dissection of peoples health

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1233

I think it's disgusting to move a & e to Halifax. Huddersfield is a muchigh bigger town in population and has a large university. It's access is much better. It's not right to leave us with a facility so small. It's all to do with money. Coming sense has gone out the window!!!

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1234

The CHFT, GHCCG & CCCG are ignoring the wishes of the people of Huddersfield, local councillors and local M.P.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1237

I'm signing because we need ALL services in Huddersfield. We are a growing town and have needs of all different types of care. We cannot and should not have to trail to Calderdale to access these services.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1242

These plans are motivated purely by monetary considerations at the expense of patient safety and welfare.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1243

The leaders that be just cant be trusted to be open & Honest saying one thing to appease community whilst working on another

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1248

I’m disgusted by this duplicitous behaviour.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1252

I’m appauled at the way the leaders of C&H NHS Foundation Trust are saying that this will improve patient care when we all know it’s about sacrificing the HRI site to developers to bailout HCR

(Meltham, 2017-11-02)

#1254

The current team are inept at all they do. They lie and simply do not have the best care of Huddersfield residents at heart

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1255

It is behond belief that a town the size of Huddersfield
ends up with little more than a 64 bed care home.
Visitors to CRH would increase carbon dioxide increase anxiety of relitivies particulary the elderly and those with young families and patients wondering if their visitors get home alright.
Just can not be good

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1257

The CCG cannot be allowed to get away with not following protocol and not informing people who need this hospital about their actions. Huddersfield is a very alrhe down and needs to keep its A and E department as well as vital services.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1260

We need facilitys to stay where they are.I have been a patient many times & being sent to halifax only caused more distress, we have no transport, so it meant i could only see my family a lot less.Being ill & your family not close brings more distress to you.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1261

The proposed plans are inadequate for patients in Huddersfield and surrounding areas.

(Holmfirth, 2017-11-02)

#1262

I don't want services to go to Halifax and don't want hri to be downgraded

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1265

This is not right! Putting lives at risk.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1268

disgust at goverments dangerous cutting of hospital provision in and for huddersfield residents

(huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1269

Huddersfield needs its own hospital Halifax is to far away .

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-02)

#1271

Far too long a journey from Holmfirth to Halifax

(Holmfirth , 2017-11-02)

#1273

I was a patient at HRI 4 times over this last year and then my husband was. He died there at the end of July. I could not imagine the extra stress that trips to Calderdale would have placed upon our family. If I get I'll again there is no one local to care for my children. I could not be in another town.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-02)

#1275

This is a disgrace and totally against the wishes of the people of HUDDERSFIELD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(HUDDERSFIELD, 2017-11-02)

#1283

URGENT

(huddersfield, 2017-11-03)

#1285

For all the obvious reasons, it is just not logical feasible and fair

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-03)

#1286

A few number of people (ccg) are playing Russian roulette with our lives to fund their own pockets !!

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-03)

#1287

The committees which have made the ridiculous decision to close HUDDERSFIELD A &E and are now transferring other wards and services to CRH should not be allowed to continue. The people of Huddersfield have been short changed and told that a better and safer service will be provided. This is all a white wash as we in Huddersfiels all know that this is a financial reason. Whoever amalgamated with CRH in the past took on their PFI debt which is the route cause of all of this mess. Come clean all you committee people and have the guts to admit this. Having travelled to CRH many times the stress of the roads alone not forgetting the lack of parking should be enough to stop the transfers.
How can this be justified? a 68 bed hospital for a population larger than Halifax is a joke.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-03)

#1291

I care about the people of Huddersfield

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-03)

#1294

I originate from Huddersfield and still have family living in the Holme valley.

(Airdrie , 2017-11-04)

#1296

About seven years after Sheffield - population about 550k - went from two A&Es to one there was, in 2015, a serious flu epidemic and the one A&E went into Meltdown and had to call in every available medic plus St John's Ambulance and other groups to help out. This led to a massive and costly expansion of the A&E with extra wards.
What chance for Kirklees and Calder dale with one A&E - population 700k - when the A&E of The Calderdale Royal Hostpital will be SMALLER than the present HRI with fewer wards if, no when, something simular happens.
As simular Dangerous Rationalisations are taking place though-out the nation the Government ought to be Hung, Drawn and Quatered for saying it is a Local Issue.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-04)

#1298

I'm a student at University of Huddersfield this is disgusting they are putting peoples lives at risk. Everyone knows that young people are more likely to contract meningitis at university and we are told to act fast how is going all the way to Halifax acting fast when we have a perfectly good hospital round the corner. I'm sure the NHS will love being sued by the masses for neglect. They seriously need their heads feeling stupid people

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-04)

#1299

Save HRI. We NEED our hospital to save lives. It's fairly obvious to all except the government that lives will be lost should we lose our HRI.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-05)

#1300

I feel that our town desperately needs all types of health care locally. We are a much bigger town than Halifax and when the university students are added to the numbers of the residents we far outnumber the Halifax residents. Also there is not enough parking at Halifax.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-05)

#1303

The whole thing is completely unecessary and will not improve patient care.

(halifax, 2017-11-05)

#1306

We in Huddersfield need and want OUR hospital. We don’t want to have to travel to Halifax

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-05)

#1308

Everything is about money,no matter what they say.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-06)

#1309

I think Huddersfield needs its own fully functioning hospital. We are a big town getting bigger.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-06)

#1310

We need this hospital in Huddersfield

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-06)

#1313

I am signing this petition because no one in charge of this move seems to listen or WANT TO LISTEN. We the people of Huddersfield want our Hospital to stay firmly as it is. PLEASE LISTEN TO EVERYONE IN THIS TOWN. Enough is enough where will you all be when we are left trying to sort out elderly parents out when they are told they can only go to Calderdale Hospital and they desperately want to go to our own hospital. Well of course none of the Greater Clinical Council or whatever you call yourselves will not be around to answer will you. Stop this stupid move and listen to the people. Thankyou

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-06)

#1314

Because the leadership is incompetent beyond belief. If they ran a funeral home people would stop dying...

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-06)

#1315

I grew up in Huddersfield. Myself, family and friends have all been treated at HRI. I am a frequent visitor to Huddersfield. It is ludicrous that a town the size of Huddersfield shouldn’t have its own A&E and full service hospital. Those responsible for this ridiculous proposal have demonstrated their incompetence and have clearly failed to carry the public with them, they should resign.

(Sidmouth, 2017-11-06)

#1316

I am signing because I live in Huddersfield and believe the Town needs a hospital with A &E attached. Huddersfield is a big Town with a university, that caters for a large number of people, also the care of people in the town & generations to come.

(Accra, 2017-11-06)

#1317

I am signing this because it directly affects me & my family

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-06)

#1320

The CCG are a disgrace

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-07)

#1321

I care about the future of our local NHS provision

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-07)

#1323

The current plans being advanced by the exiting management will result in an unconscionable level of medical and emergency services in our town putting countless lives at risk.

(Huddersfield , 2017-11-07)

#1329

The CHFT,GHCCG and CCCG are leading the people of Huddersfield and Kirklees into immoral dept. Also a university town requires a full sized hospital not a cottage hospital.

(Huddersfield, 2017-11-07)

#1330

I believe HRI is required for the late town of Huddersfield

(Mirfield, 2017-11-07)

#1333

I’m fed up of the lies these people are telling us in their efforts to close HRI. The latest claims that people have died because they were in the wrong hospital are pathetic

(Holmfirth , 2017-11-09)

#1334

we need a hospital in a town thats as big as a city for lives to be saved not lost on the bypass

(huddersfield, 2017-11-23)

#1337

I was born here and I'm proud of my hospital x Don't let it die xx

(Huďdersfield, 2018-07-21)
