It is a sheer disgrace that TESCO are showing this - I will NOT be buying from them this Christmas.

Donald J Morrison (Inverness, 2017-11-13)

#4

I support and agree with the essential truth that Christmas is a Christian festival. As syc

Pauline Roper (Manchester , 2017-11-13)

#9

This is correct

David Newby (Enfield, 2017-11-13)

#12

We are a Christian country and world wide adoption- without coercion is the only way to the salvation of the world.

Michael Jerrom (Tunbridge Wells, 2017-11-13)

#15

I’m a born again, Spirit filled Christian. My sins are forgiven because Jesus had so much love for us that willingly laid down His life in order that we have eternal life. His Blood redeemed me and healed me. He is The Word made manifest, born of a woman, but conceived by God’s Spirit. I celebrate this blessed gift each year - a day, set aside, to give thanks for our Lord. This day is Christmas. A sacred Mass in honour of His birth. To include any peoples who deny this is blasphemy. Shame on Tesco!

Michelle Winstanley (Wigan, 2017-11-13)

#18

I'm signing because Christianity is being pushed aside to accomodate other faiths when Christianity is the core value in this country

Cheryl Sooknanan (Periale, 2017-11-13)

#19

Tesco are being hypocritical and I don’t believe their inclusivity is anything but a ploy to decry Christmas and what it stands for. Sorry Islam and Christmas don’t mix this is a PR mistake which undoubtedly will backfire on them. Whose doing the PR for Tesco. It’s ridiculous.

Jo Nixon (Cardiff, 2017-11-13)

#21

I object to using people of a religious group to advertise Christmas merchandise who do not believe in celebrating the CHRISTian festival of Christmas.

Sandra Simpson (Bath , 2017-11-13)

#23

I am a Christian who celebrates the fact that Jesus was born in order to become a man who was worthy to share our suffering then die to forgive all our sons. Christmas reminds us of the baby the man and the saviour.

Chris Shepherd (Cardiff, 2017-11-13)

#27

This is a Christian festival, to celebrate the birth of God's son Jesus which the koran denies.
I'll shop elsewhere.

Barbara Burridge (London, 2017-11-13)

#28

Because I am a Christian and Muslims are not.

Colin Farquhar (Durham, 2017-11-13)

#30

Christmas is a Christian festival which Islam rejects

Roger Hitchings (Swindon, 2017-11-13)

#32

I am offended by the Tesco’s advert. This should be taken to a court of law for offending Christians in this country of the United Kingdom. It is a blatant lie to even suggest that Muslim believe Jesus is the son of God which Christians do and that’s why they celebrate Christmas. I’ll be buying my turkey from ALDI.

David Cordukes (Bristol, 2017-11-13)

#33

I am a Christian and feel it to be wrong what Tesco have done.

Sharon COTTINGHAM (HAILSHAM, 2017-11-13)

#36

CHRISTMAS FOR CHRISTIANS IS TO REMEMBER AND CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF THE SON OF GOD, JESUS OUR SAVIOUR. TELL THE MUSLIMS THIS, AND SEE THEIR REPLY.

Ian Lyon (billinge, 2017-11-13)

#38

This ad attempts to disguise its crude marketing pitch by usng a bogus and inappropriate"diversity" smokescreen. It is cynical hypocrisy and utterly alien to the true spirit of Christmas.

abigail sargent (pevensey, 2017-11-13)

#39

I am disgusted with Tesco.
This is a peace-loving, Christian country.

Rosemarie Vernon (Penzance, 2017-11-13)

#42

I'm signing because:
1) It's offensive to Christians as Muslims don't believe in the core truth of Christmas that God became flesh in the birth of His Son Jesus.
2) Tesco don't sell halah turkeys so the ad is a lie to Muslim's and everyone else.

Paul Hazeldine (Walton-on-Thames, 2017-11-13)

#47

This sheer hypocrisy and political correctness gone mad! Christmas celebrates the birth of God the Son! The koran

Peter King (PEACEHAVEN, 2017-11-13)

#49

Christmas is p[art of OUR heritage, and a Christian event - therefore nothing to do with Islam

Delphine Gray-Fisk (Farnham Common, 2017-11-13)

#50

Christianity and Islam have nothing in common! There is one God, and one Mediator between God and man, and that is Christ Jesus! Our Faith and culture is being downgraded for the sake of not offending Islam. God said, "If my people should turn from their wicked ways and humble themselves, I will hear their prayers and heal their land". We are in dire need right now! Our country is in a right mess, spirituality and morally. Tesco, take note, you are also part of the problem! You cannot brain wash us with your multi faith advert, no! quite the opposite.

Irene Johnstone (Newcastle upon Tyne, 2017-11-13)

#51

Muslims do not celebrate Christmas, nor do they acknowledge it as a holiday.

Dave Sanders (UK, 2017-11-13)

#52

Christmas is a Christian festival and every year ithe Christian Message is lost. This is just another target at Christians and I will no longer shop in Tescos.

Lynda le Boutillier (Bournemouth , 2017-11-13)

#53

I believe it is important that the true message of Christmas is made known in our nation and that our Christian heritage in Britain is not eroded.

Margaret Evans (Menai Bridge, 2017-11-13)

#54

I.Lee.

Jean Lee (London, 2017-11-13)

#55

CHRISTMAS Is TO GLORIFY THE LORD GOD IN FORM OF JESUS CHRIST WHO TOOK ON FLESH FOR SINNERS JOHN3-16

Valerie Harrop (Newton le willows, 2017-11-13)

#58

I am a Christian who loves the Saviour Jesus Christ and want Tesco to validate our Christian heritage and not promote a religion that denies Jesus and is hostile to Him and Christians also to cease from promoting unnatural sinful homosexual behaviour.

Susan Garcia (Norwich, 2017-11-13)

#64

This is a Christian festival and we insist it remains so, it is not inclusive, it has been our festival for 2000 years unchanged and that is the way we intend it to stay.

Sheila Sheffield (nottingham, 2017-11-13)

#66

Tesco is promoting non Christian Christmas!

Jacqueline Brunger (Blaenau Ffestiniog, 2017-11-13)

#70

Islam teaches Muims to hate Christianity
& they are persecuting, raping & murdering christians world wide
THEY DO NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS
GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT TESCO
THIS ADVERT IS A DISGUSTING LIE

GAIL PHILLIPS (BLACKPOOL, 2017-11-13)

#71

Christmas is Christ’s birthday. Nothing to do with Islam.
Tesco are insulting Christians with their advertisement. However we all know they are morally bankrupt and those who mock God reap the whirlwind.
I shall boycott them.

Viv Parker (Downham Market, 2017-11-13)

#73

I have never forgiven Tesco for sponsoring the London Gay Pride and as a consequence have never shopped there since. The recent advert has only served to strengthen my resolve to boycott this company.

Caleb Pearce (Harpenden, 2017-11-13)

#80

I'm signing because there is nothing more important to me or my family that the name of Jesus as Son of God is not only upheld but proclaimed loudly. There is no room for a pic approach to this .
Tesco' s founders are I believe Jewish... they should know better!

Ian Bailey (Shaftesbury, 2017-11-13)

#84

This is Britain - Not an Islamic Nation. Why would you chose Islam to feature in an advert for a Christian celebration.

Barb Sage (Newcastle , 2017-11-13)

#85

We are a Christian country

David MacRae (Inverness , 2017-11-13)

#86

Im signing cause im very disappointed with the way tesco handled this.

Irene Gloria (Bedford, 2017-11-13)

#87

We need to keep affirming our Christian culture or it wil be removed from us.

Charles Bain (Southend on sea, 2017-11-13)

#90

I'm signing because Muslims do not celebrate Christmas because, unlike Christians, they do not believe Jesus is the son of God. The advert is misleading to Muslims because Tesco does not sell halal turkeys anyway.

Fiona Gascoigne (Camberley, 2017-11-13)

#91

The advert from Tesco at Christmas is advertising Muslims who do not believe in Christmas and it is a slight on Christianity

OLURANTI AJAYI (UK, 2017-11-13)

#94

I'm outraged by the promotion of an alien culture that is incompatible with ours, why has this been promoted even.

Brinsley Jenkins (St Austel, 2017-11-14)

#96

I am a Christian and we need to take back control of our country

Sharon Dunn (Ashton, Helston, 2017-11-14)

#97

I am signing because I was appalled when I saw the advert on television and very disappointed at the ignorance of Tesco.

penny hughes (swansea, 2017-11-14)

#98

I'm a born again Christian and believe that Christmas is the season we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The Muslim religion does not, so why the ad. Is it a halal turkey!!!!

Violet Johnson (Milton Keynes, 2017-11-14)

#103

It is no more appropriate to associate Moslems with an advert about Christmas than to associate Christians with an Advert about Eid. It demeans those of both faiths.

Simon Marshall (Bath, 2017-11-14)

#106

Tesco, are hypocrites, and totally ignorant regarding Islam. Muslims hate Christmas and say that it#s worse than murder! Wake up Tesco and get your facts right!

Oriel Bayliss (Chepstow, 2017-11-14)

#107

Christmas is a Christian inspired Feast and which has no relevance to people of the Muslim faith.

William Crudgington (Postwick, 2017-11-14)

#108

I'm signing in because of I absolutely sick of this smug type of hypocritical commercial hijacking of the Christian Gospel

Michael Huggins (Exeter, 2017-11-14)

#110

Let us not erode the significance of Christmas especially that this nation has a christian heritage.

Owoicho Okpe (Manchester, 2017-11-14)

#114

I am a British Christian and I am angry at the current Christmas advert that sites Muslims, who do not celebrate Christmas, but decry the truth of Christmas. I am now fed up of the propaganda and the mindless diversity that is being forced down my throat. At least I can object about what Tesco has done this Christmas and withdraw what has been a loyal custom to Tesco...

Evelyn Guddat (Tewkesbury , 2017-11-14)

#118

I am signing because Tesco in its utter ignorance of what Christmas is, is rivitting. Muslims don't believe in Christmas as they do not accept that Jesus is the son of God and Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ who is the son of God.
How would that be appropriate them to feature in a festival they do not recognize. Ridiculous !!! And yes its true, Tesco's has not got a turkey for them as they don't have an halal turkey therefore FALSE claims in advertising.

Maria Schafer (High Wycombe, 2017-11-14)

#124

Christmas is Christian...duh

sue b (London, 2017-11-15)

#125

The ad should be pulled. I will never shop at Tesco again. They have not supported this country's foundation of Christianity. They are a disgrace.

Linda Firmani (Ascot, 2017-11-15)

#126

i am so very tired of this Christian country GREAT BRITAIN having to fight to uphold the long practiced religion and laws of our once proud nation , now giving succour to those who deny us and our 2000 year old faiths , we have never forced people to take on the Christian just shown them the path and allowed them to take it or not ! it is called freedom ! the freedom which so many of our young men and women fought and died to protect, as did another all those years ago.

Molly Bennett (SOUTHAMPTON, 2017-11-15)

#132

It is offensive. Would Tesco show Jews celebrating Eid. Not a chance, it would create an uproar.

Peter Littleton (Northants, 2017-11-15)

#135

What a pathetic example of callow virtue signalling compounded by the craven effort to force Christ out of Christmas

Jan Stevenson (Brightlingsea, 2017-11-15)

#143

I don't think Muslim people should be used in any Christmas advert as it's not their belief. We believe the birth of Christ Jesus weither it was December or another time of year He was born to die for us all and if you don't share that belief then why play a part in it?

Maureen Longstaff (Belfast, 2017-11-16)

#144

I am signing this petition because Christmas is celebrating the incarnation of God becoming flesh in the form of Jesus. Muslims do not believe this therefore do not celebrate the true meaning of CHRISTmas.

June Black (Glasgow , 2017-11-16)

#145

Christmas is a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Christ the Saviour of the world. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the son of God so the advert is a publicity stunt for which they should be ashamed.

Kathy Tandy (Kent, 2017-11-16)

#146

I feel that we are loosing our national identity, part of which is our Christian heritage, by trying to be 'all things to all people'.

Peter Adams (Bournemouth, 2017-11-16)

#147

Christmas has NOTHING to do with Muslims.
Tesco has no need to curry favour with the Muslim minority and so insult the Christian minority. I boycott Tesco and have done since it backed gay pride, after 30 years of loyalty.

David Biddle (Rugby, 2017-11-16)

#149

I am signing because the truth cannot be diluted to please a religion. Truth is truth for ever. Pure Love will honour the Word of Jesus fully. Besides their own souls are lost if we don't proclaim the whole truth for them to hear and be saved.

Kumar Swamy (Walton-On-Thames, 2017-11-17)

#153

The Qur'an orders ALL Muslims to KILL ALL Infidels (UNBELIEVERS) so one day your Muslim Friend could Happily CUT YOUR THROAT!

John Price (Oakham, 2017-11-17)

#160

I dislike the continual dilution of Christmas as a CHRISTIAN festival. This action by Tesco is a further move toward dilution of faith and the concept that 'all religions are the same'. This is a damnable error

Michael Lampard (Liverpool, 2017-11-21)

#161

I agree with you and I hope Tesco lose over the whole matter.

June and David Jacobs (Emsworth, 2017-11-21)

#162

Disgusted At Tescos PROMOTING a Christian Festival..Usung Muslims in Their Ad.Muslims do not Believe in The Birth of Jesus.or Chritanity. This is Very VERY Offensive to Christians.and I and My Family and Friends are Definitely Boycotting Tesco.s.

Ivy YEO (Cardiff, 2017-11-25)

#174

Whilst Christmas is a Christian holiday we include everyone, however this political move by Tesco does not sit well with the majority. Additionally Islam is an idealogy only and is making good traction in society being recognised as such. Irregardless of the recognition governments give it is not a religion. Do you remember the British army advert with the Islamic soldier? Ask yourself why have we not seen Christians/Jews being promoted this way. Merry Christmas to all and one

Maire Browm (London, 2018-11-01)
