Christie deserves justice, he should never get out

(Mentor, 2018-06-05)

#9208

No family should go through this ever. But to release the person who murdered their loved one in cold blood would just be adding pain to pain. That man should stay behind bars until the end of his life. It's the least this family should expect of our justice system.

(Tyrone, GA, 2018-06-05)

Pretty young girl killed by homicidal maniac. Killer should have died by lethal injection, never let him out of jail.

(Mentor, 2018-06-05)

(Mentor, 2018-06-05)

I was a college student living in Mentor when this occurred. It was horrible and someone capable of this should not be allowed back in the community.

For Christine

(Eastlake, 2018-06-05)

#9244

I'm signing because I remember this case I was born in Painesville and raised in Willoughby . We need to make sure that this individual stays where he is at and that the justice system shows they meant what they said all those years ago and that he is going to be remembering everything he did each night when they say lights out

(Canton, 2018-06-05)

#9249

This animal should never be let out. Christie was a beautiful person who was stolen much too early in life. Why should he get a chance to have a life when he didn't give her one

(Willoughby, 2018-06-06)

#9250

The terrible crime committed should not be forgotten. The terrible pain he caused to this family to suffer should not her forgotten. Because of his action a young girl was deprived of becoming an adult. He belongs in jail not freed to have a life - he deprived Chrissie from having hers.

(Willowick, 2018-06-06)

I graduated from Willoughby South high school in 1986 and remember this. Keep him in there. Love and support to the family

I was sitting in class when the announcement about finding Christie came over the P.A. I was still new at South and we only new each other in passing, but I saw her close friends break-down around me in the room. There is no excuse for the pain I saw inflicted on them, or her family.

(willoughby, 2018-06-06)

#9271

I'm signing because I also had a family member murdered. As a survivor of a tragedy such as this, it is our responsibility to continue to fight in memory and honor of our loved one and to keep these individuals off the streets.

(Willowick, 2018-06-06)

#9272

Don’t give him the opportunity to hurt anyone else.

(Lorain, 2018-06-06)

#9276

I remember when this happened. She was so full of life. No one deserves o be raped, killed and thrown by the side of the road. She is buried right behind my family plot. We raised our family on the street by the cemetery and had to watch as she was put into the ground

(Interlachen, 2018-06-06)

Please keep this dangerous killer locked behind bars. Don’t give him the freedom to murder again.

(Concord Township , 2018-06-06)

(Bryan, 2018-06-06)

He should never see the light of day. Christie lost her life. He should too!

(Eastlake, 2018-06-06)

I am a parent and my heart breaks for those parents who are made to live on without their child..& senselessly at the hands of this murderer.

I lived in Willoughby when this happened and remember every minute of it..please do not let this man out on parole. Give him the same thought and consideration he gave Christie.

(Augusta, ga, 2018-06-12)

#9385

I am signing in support of the Montrella family. This monster needs to stay behind bars.He does not need to be released into society .

(Painesville, 2018-06-13)

#9386

For Christie !

(Painesville, 2018-06-13)

#9392

I was 18 when this happened. This monster should never be allowed out.

(Mayfield Heights, 2018-06-19)

#9394

Murderers should never be free to murder again

(Tulsa, 2018-06-22)

#9395

Because I feel a man who murders someone like this should serve the full term.

(Wickliffe, Ohio, 2018-06-23)

#9396

I was one of Christie’s classmates from 4th grade until she was brutally taken from her family and friends. No amount of time served in prison will be ever be “enough”. He was smart to plead guilty and avoid the death penalty because he most surely would have been executed by now. That doesn’t mean he should be able to walk free.

(Marysville , 2018-06-26)

#9399

Child murderers are evil. After being incarcerated for so long, the urge to reoffend will be overwhelming, and somebody will die. It might not be a child this time, although I believe more than likely it will. When a murderer kills its victim, many people die. Then without question that includes the soul of the murderer. There is no Rehabilitation here. If this person is allowed to walk free from incarceration, the people who allow it, the parole board, will themselves be committing Murder by proxy, as well as causing the family of this little girl, grief and fear for the rest of their lives. Stop this domino effect, and deny this man any freedom.
