I'm signing because I want a compliant development which will meet the needs for Aged Care as well as support the public interests of a safe and peaceful place for our families.

I live across the street from this proposed building and I think the size of the Carpark is an absolute joke. This property is not large enough to cope with the size of this development nor is it's location suitable. The street are too small to cope with the over spill of cars and traffic around it would be chaos. This should not be allowed to be built.

Because it has flown under the radar and I’ve known nothing of it. It’s too much for our suburb and will have a massive impact throughout parking, traffic and even housing prices will be impacted as well. RIDICULOUS!

I’m a resident

I am a resident in the immediate area, and I am very concerned about the insufficient parking planned. This will cause visitors and staff of the complex to park on the street adding conjestion to an already full area

Peter Spencer (Glemore Park , 2019-08-20)

#25

There is insufficient parking to accommodate this project. This intern will evaluate surrounding properties.

Dearne CAUZ (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-20)

#27

There isn’t enough parking as it is, a dedicated parking spot with 42 spaces is certainly NOT enough

Emma Warren (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-20)

#32

The proposed development does not provide sufficient parking for residents, employees and visitors. The impact this will have on parking in surrounding streets is profound and it will create traffic chaos due to the significant increase in cars parking on the street.

Stephanie Fussell (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-20)

This development will directly affect my street.

Brad Stevens (Glenmore park, 2019-08-20)

#44

I will have no space to park my car when I get home from night shift as I park on my street and it will be filled by car for the care centre

Blake Stevens (Sydney, 2019-08-20)

I am a local resident. The roads in Glenmore Park are not designed for high volumes of traffic. Peak hour is a nightmare now. Added trafdic and obstruction to traffic flow will cause gridlock, and extend travel times. It will increase risk and danger for local school children.

Council needs to address the parking crisis thats happening penrith wide!

Amy Blaszczyk (Kingswood , 2019-08-20)

I object to the minimal parking spaces proposed for the aged care facility

Michelle Yardley (Glenmore park, 2019-08-20)

They are not taking into consideration the disruption to Floribunda in demolishing the current buildings and, the construction of the nursing home. Ambulance on average at least one a day. There is plenty of space out Mulgoa way.
The staff will need parking family will need parking there is all cars on the street dont need more.
Penrith City council does not approve.

Glenmore park is not coping with the traffic at peak times. This sight is inappropriate for an aged facility as no safe parking , on a busy school and bus route. Also beside a loch which people with dementia will drown in as they do not sense the danger. If you had a major fire you couldn't evacuate 140 patients and staff quickly. This development seems to be based on profits not care.

Anne Rowe (Glenmore park , 2019-08-21)

#58

Traffic is bad enough now, it’s not a suitable site for this development

Susan O’Leary (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-21)

#59

Glenmore Park has insufficient parking and the width of streets is to narrow for added traffic

Sandra Saunders (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-21)

#61

It’s bad enough get in and out glenmore Park

Dani Zahr (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-21)

The area is not suited to the additional traffic and parking problems which would be caused by building a large 24/7 aged care facility.

Elaine King (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-21)

I have a rental property in Glenmore Park

Kimberley Jobson-Wragg (Emu heights , 2019-08-22)

#75

I believe that this is the wrong place for an age care facility to be built as it will add to the already busy intersection.

Greg Dimmock (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-23)

#76

This will devalue my daughters property across the road and because the parking on the plans is very inadequate for that size nursing home. This will be a great concern for the residence of Floribunda ave and the surrounds

Louise Yardley (Glenbrook, 2019-08-23)

#78

The streets here are already dangerous. This will add more stress to a fractured system

Lyn Jones (Glenmore park, 2019-08-23)

#80

I agree that such a development is not suitable and will have an adverse impact on surrounding home and local traffic.

Marie Symonds (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-23)

#81

I am a resident of Floribunda Ave and agree that the size of this development is unsuitable for this location. Traffic has already become gridlock with the growth of GMP at the busy intersection of Floribunda and Glenmore Parkway; the street is narrow and extra parking on the street as a consequence of this development is not conducive to traffic flow, esp as buses travel this route. This development will result in cars parked outside homes which is not appropriate for the location. The size of this proposal is not in the best interests for traffic flow and will detrimentally impact on the residents of the surrounding homes.

Cheryl Bilton (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-23)

The traffic congestion will get worth for the resident

Carol Chen (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-23)

Do something better with the land. This will make my street hell, it's already hard enough to get out of glenmore park

Adam Mackenzie (Sydney , 2019-08-24)

#91

Glenmore Park doesn’t need more cars no parking for aged care centre

Maggie Gregersen (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-24)

#93

I’m signing because I don’t believe the area can sustain with that much traffic. I think there will be too much traffic and danger for residents.

Melanie Cage (Glenmore Park , 2019-08-24)

#95

Over population/ crowding the area

Shaun Marsh (Sydney, 2019-08-24)

#96

I’m so over the congestion in Glenmore Park have been a resident since 1994

Phyllis Wiggett (Sydney , 2019-08-24)

#98

I don’t want the disruption to traffic - the roundabout on Floribunda ave is already banked up in the morning without adding further traffic. One way skinny roads in Glenmore Park already makes it a traffic jam.

Joanne Gregor (Glenmore park, 2019-08-25)

#101

Too much disturbance and not enough parking

Craig Bernard (Sydney , 2019-08-26)

#102

Cause I live right near there

Jason Bianchi (Glenmore park, 2019-08-26)

#105

I believe there is no viable way a facility of this size will not effect the already congested and restricted traffic flow in and out of Glenmore Park.

Ken Grey (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-26)

#106

The traffic is currently very busy during the peak hour to enter or exit Glenmore Park. It will be even worse when Opal Aged Care settled in.

CK Lin (Glenmore park, 2019-08-26)

#107

This faculty will disrupt my day to day, cause traffic and an unsafe any busy environment on our street, this will effect the kids. It will also effect our already anxious dog. This is not but a great site for such a building, Glenmore Park is far too suburban for such a large facility

Anum Khan (Sydney, 2019-08-26)

#109

I’m signing this petition as I live in the neighbouring street that will back on to this facility which has limited parking already due to residents. Already it is quite difficult to get out of Glenmore Park in the morning and this proposed development will cause more strain. Not to mention that their proposed carpark will only just cover the staff’s cars!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡

Fiona Stevens (Glenmore park, 2019-08-26)

#110

Not a suitable area for a nursing home. Roads are too narrow. Increase of traffic into GP will create issues.

Anne Montgomery (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-26)

#111

GP is a residential area with many small children. The additional cars which will be present because of staff and visitors would be a safety issue for residents and their young families. Having worked in Aged Care for many years, I think this proposal if it goes ahead, could be fraught with danger for both residents of the facility and local children.

Narelle Rigney (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-26)

#112

We have too much traffic going out of the Mulgoa Rd exit now. There is not enough parking around the area. It is not suited for this type of development

Debbie Attwood (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-26)

#113

I’m not against the nursing home , I do believe the street already has limited parking and with buses it is already difficult to manoeuvre at times especially when residents park their cars on the left hand side, on the corner of floribundas and acacia. Furthermore when leaving the street and approaching the round about cars often veer into the other lane, especially the buses and trucks.

Tracy Williams (Glenmore Park, 2019-08-26)

#116

As a resident of Glenmore Park I would agree that the traffic congestion that this facility would create will place undue stress on already struggling commuters
