It is time to allow people to get out in the fresh air to enjoy recreational areas taxes are paying for.

Amy Morgan (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#22

I'm signing this because kids are bored if just being home they want to go to the park and play.

Mayra Villarreal (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

The city council is full of corruption, collusion and trash. The mayor throws a hissy fit when there's any type of opposition like a 5 year old and the rest of the council gives in. They are there to represent their constituents, not the ideas of one person but the majority voice of the citizens. If our vote is wrong, then so be it, we'll live with the concequences just as we are doing now, living with the concequences of voting the wrong people in. That's democracy. DONT TREAD ON ME!!!

Jesus Gomez (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#33

Open our parks!

Rita Rosales (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#35

It doesn’t make sense that parks are closed.

Stacey Arnason (Del Río , 2020-06-05)

#37

As a tax payer I am demanding our parks open up.

Kami Mitchell (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#38

The creek is an essential part of the Del Rio community that needs to reopen.

John Flores (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#43

It’s time to open the parks already.

Rafael Liceaga Jr. (Del Río , 2020-06-05)

#45

I walk the creek for health purposes. I should be able to do this when I find the time available. This is difficult with current restrictions.

Larry Campos (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#49

I’d like the restrictions on our city parks lifted.

Deborah Davis (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#60

Our parks are beautiful. Our children need a safe place to swim and play.

Veronica Cabello (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

#61

Texas is reopening. Del Rio needs to follow suit. You guys have done a phenomenal job thus far please don’t take it too far to prove a point.

Megan Kelley (Del Rio, 2020-06-05)

Cris Atay (Del Rio, 2020-06-06)

#72

I support freedom, bottom line.

Robert Wade (Del Rio , 2020-06-06)

I believe outdoor spaces full of sunshine provide safe recreation for everyone. I believe the reports that sunshine effectively kills the Coronavirus are true. We should have our parks and pools open. Th people who chose to stay home should not control the people who want to be outdoors enjoying our abundant sunshine.

Jana Plank (Del Rio, 2020-06-06)

#76

Because we want to be able to enjoy our beautiful creek and be able to swim

Beverly Garza (Del Rio , 2020-06-06)

#81

We enjoy swimming and kayaking at the creek

Josephine Ortiz (Del Rio , 2020-06-06)

#86

I am signing this petition because it is only right that we are allowed the same rights to gather as the protesters who were gathering without social distancing. We do not need you the city to parent us adults. Re-open the parks ...

Angel Torres (Del Rio, 2020-06-06)

#89

I’m signing because the restrictions are complete bullshit !!! They “Allow “ almost 100 people shoulder to shoulder have a protest BUT .. we can’t go to the parks .. can’t have yard sales .. the families that have had their child graduate this year .. only allowed 4 members n still had yellow tape so the other family members couldn’t even see from the fence .. they were parked across the street from stadium .. that is such a sad stupid ridiculous decision... the state of TEXAS is open ...

Tara Vazquez (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#90

I feel it is on the best interest of the community to have our park open! Many families that live near the creek, it is the only form of entertainment they can afford for their children. When I see the amount of people at our local stores and the protestors yet the city powers that be say we can’t go to the creek is absolutely insane!

Susan Osteen (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#95

its a person's choice

Azeneth Castillo (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#96

I love swimming

Paul Perry (Delrio Texas, 2020-06-07)

#98

We are being restricted from using facilities we pay for.

Isidro Guadalajara (Del Rio, Tx, 2020-06-07)

#101

I think children and adults need some recreational activities ...weather is so hot we need to be able to swim in our creeks and still maintain social distancing which is possible at our creeks .

Mari Mijares (Del Río , 2020-06-07)

#103

I'm signing because is time to open our parks, we are paying Taxes and we deserve to use what we are paying for. I'm sick and tired of this non sense if the Golf course can be open and protest can be done then we can sure be at the parks at our own risk.

berenice Guadalajara (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#104

I want to dip in the bean dip!

Marco Zambrano (Del Rio , 2020-06-07)

#109

I’m signing because we need to not let fear control us and enjoy our freedom to use our park that is paid by our taxes.

Ricardo Reyes (Del Rio , 2020-06-07)

#110

Being at a park is not a threat!

Arthur Arnason (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#111

I agree i think the parks should reopen....All of Texasis reopening little by little

Amy Barrera (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#112

I want to take my kids

Cyntjia Camacho (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#115

It's hot and the kids deserve to go swimming and enjoy nature.

Samantha Servin (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#117

If Walmart’s open the parks should be open. If people can protest with out issue, my family and I can use the parks in Del Rio...including swimming in the San Felipe creek.

Jason Owens (Del Rio, 2020-06-07)

#118

I want Blackbrush parking lot and picnic areas open again

Adam Thomas (Del rio, 2020-06-08)

#119

I have been a responsible citizen, following all rules both ordered and “ recommended “ by local leaders and feel that I should be allowed sit in the water with my family. I get trying to prevent large gatherings/ parties but not everyone is about that - my family, my folding chair, my cold beverage,in my hometown. I guess I could float the frio but would prefer to stay in my hometown away from crowded spaces and possible exposure.

Mike Reyes (Del Rio, 2020-06-08)

#122

We want Softball at Hogan Back.

eloy Garcia (DEL RIO, 2020-06-08)

#124

The city can take other measures to help safeguard it's citizens than placing restrictions. They can install hand washing stations, install hand sanitizing stations, and place signs encouraging social distancing.

Ervey Gutierrez (Del Rio, 2020-06-08)

#125

It's time the Del Rio City Council listens to the citizens of Del Rio and re-open our parks especially the creek!!!!

Pamela Fugate (Del Rio, 2020-06-08)

#127

It's hot and i wanna go swimming.

Cecilia Cardona (Del Rio, 2020-06-08)

#132

I’m signing because the parks need to be open!

Tommy Valenz (Del Rio, 2020-06-09)

#133

It’s our creek and we deserve to use it. We pay our taxes. Cases are going up without the creek going up. HEAT KILLS COVID!!

Bertha Ozuna (DEL RIO, 2020-06-09)

#135

I dont know how its far to open up bars but not the public park. Love my del rio

Priscilla Coronado (Del rio, 2020-06-10)

#137

I believe we should be able to use our City Parks. We are paying taxes fir usage and maintenance but not being able to use these parks. The Governor has opened up parks. The city should follow the Governor's recommendations. The City is holding the community hostages.

Anne Garcia (Del Rio, 2020-06-10)

#142

My family and I enjoyed be on the parks on summer time

Rosa Buendia (Del Rio , 2020-06-11)

#148

I don’t want to have to organize a “protest” at the park to force the city to open it but I’m not entirely opposed to the idea either. I just hope I don’t get arrested while “protesting”

Peter Hightower (Del Rio, 2020-06-12)

#149

We want the San Felipe Creek opened.

Aurora Solis (Del Rio, Tx, 2020-06-12)

#150

Im in agreement with this pettion.

Alfredo Corral (Del Rio, 2020-06-12)

#153

I’m signing because I think it’s ridiculous that bars and stores are open. You can also dine in at certain restaurants but you can’t go for a swim or walk at the park when you want? The hours in place are also ridiculous. And it’s also ridiculous that the lake areas are open but the parks aren’t. I understand not opening the play areas for children, but for people to not even be able to swim? That’s a little much.

Yoli Trevino (Del rio , 2020-06-12)

#155

We need to have more recreational time outdoors.

Rodolfo Martinez (Del rio, 2020-06-15)

#160

I should have the right to go freely.

Melanie Kidd (DEL RIO, 2020-06-24)
