I believe quality affordable childcare should stay open in the city of NEDLANDS.
Money is spent on many projects not benefiting the community and it should be channeled into beneficial projects like this

As a parent of PRCC for more than 5 years, I am signing because PRCC provides a very special and unique service to the community that has been built over many years, and it would a huge loss and shame to see it close down.

Samantha Jones (Perth, 2020-09-16)

I used to go to this daycare as a child and my daughter went there and I want to send my son next year. It would be such a shame to lose this amazing service

Nicola Mitchell (Perth , 2020-09-16)

We need affordable child care, particularly occasional care in our area. As a relief teacher affordable and occasional care is vital to me as I don’t have regular days for work.

Natalie Cloud (Perth, 2020-09-16)

#15

PR is a wonderful childcare. All my kids went though it and the care was exceptional. The team of ladies were first class and headed by Romaine who is such an amazing educator. To lose this would be terrible, large daycares are not like PR - it’s a gem of a place and it would be a loss to the community if it was ever to be shutdown.

Deborah Wilson (Nedlands, 2020-09-16)

This daycare supports working families and parents who need extra support.

Claire Kessissoglou (Perth, 2020-09-16)

My two eldest have attended. It is a fantastic facility which should stay as is. I want my third child to attend and be able to benefit from the wonderful staff and facilities available. It was be a disaster to close this facility or even Privatise it in my opinion.

Caroline Jones (Cottesloe , 2020-09-16)

All four of my children attended Prcc and it would be a huge loss to the community if it were to shut. I toured many childcare centre and this was the only one I felt comfortable leaving my children at. The staff have been consistent for over ten years this is rare in this industry and is testament to the care and consideration they show our children.

Rachel Potalivo (Perth, 2020-09-16)

#20

We love this centre and its unique, small community feel and believe it should be a Council funded service available into the future.

Pippa Tilbrook (Nedlands, 2020-09-16)

PRCC and their amazing staff have looked after my kids and also the children of many family and friends. This child care centre is an integral part of our local community and many, many local families, including my own, would be devastated to see it close its doors.

Kate Duarte (Nedlands, 2020-09-16)

#24

This childcare centre is hands down the best in Perth. It’s an asset to the city of Nedlands and all who live in this community. Please please don’t close it down.

My daughter went to PRCC and it’s an awesome daycare with dedicated staff. It’s great for the local community to have such a facility.

Tania Bowe (Claremont , 2020-09-16)

My son went there and we were very happy with service , beautiful setup and the management.

#34

PRCC is a huge asset to the local community, the unrivalled level of care and understanding invested by staff and the PRCC community result in outstanding care, support and education to our youngest minds. As a working mother of 3 children that all attended PRCC in the past, I could not have asked for a better option to meet my childcare needs. This service should be prioritised and valued, it surpasses larger generic / corporate childcare structures by so much and is deeply valued by all those that are engaged - the children, the parents, the grandparents, the siblings, the teachers, the staff. PRCC is a treasure.

Tanya Brown (Perth, 2020-09-17)

#35

Both my children attended this centre and loved it. It provides a warm and safe environment for learning and being themselves !

Camille McKenzie (Perth, 2020-09-17)

#38

Our 3 children and now 6 of our grandchildren (with 2 more on the waiting list) have all gone to PRCC and have received and enjoyed outstanding professionalism and education.
It is such an important community service which must be retained as it is irreplaceable

Graham Hardie (Claremont WA, 2020-09-17)

#42

My children are currently in care at PRCC. Romaine and her team provide exceptional care to the children of this community. PRCC acts as a great community childcare feeder service into the schools in this area also.

Kate Underhill (Perth, 2020-09-17)

#43

PRCC is a wonderful & much needed service to families with young children in the area. It would be a huge loss to see it close or privatised.

Bianca Rovira (Swanbourne, 2020-09-17)

#48

I have one child who previously attended PRCC, and one who currently attends. A wonderful service, great staff, and sense of community

Trent Hardie (Claremont , 2020-09-17)

#51

So many families will be adversely affected by this poorly thought out proposal. No community consultation once again.

Edna Rovira (Perth, 2020-09-17)

#52

I’m signing because all 3 of my children have been lovingly and professionally looked after by Romaine and the incredible staff at PRCC since 2013. My youngest is in their care currently and I can’t imagine her at another centre that has served our community with such a high level of care. It would be a complete tragedy to take this centre out of the hands of the local government and community.

Laura Keenan (Dalkeith , 2020-09-17)

#61

So friends and loved ones don’t lose care for their children

Carla Mamotte (Perth, 2020-09-17)

Before Covid happened I was about to enrol my daughter into this daycare.
It’s a wonderful space and learning centre for children and the staff are lovely. I have heard nothing but good reviews from friends and family.

Courtney Olsen (Perth, 2020-09-17)

As a past parent with children who attended prcc I know having council run services made child care accessible and affordable. It is vital that these services are continued for the next generation

Aparna Hegde (Perth , 2020-09-17)

#92

Because this is an incredible community resource to assist the families in the western suburbs. My son loved three years at this amazing centre with such beautiful staff. Do not get rid of this please.

Melinda Hayes (Perth , 2020-09-18)

#93

This is a fabulous facility

Emma Wood (Perth, 2020-09-19)

#94

I think it is important to keep Point Resolution operating as a community based child care Centre. It is undoubtably one of the best centers in the area if not the state. Romaine is very passionate about what she does and how she cares for the children and her staff. 2 of my children attended day care there and they still have good friends from there time there and talk about Romaine and the other carers very fondly.

Rachael Criddle (Dalkeith, 2020-09-19)

#95

We used to,live in Wattle ave
Dalkeith .our children all went to the local kindgarten.
It is a wonderful safe healthy
Environment perfect for what it is used for now,

Gaye Hayes (Perth, 2020-09-19)

#96

I'm signing because point resolution daycare is an important part of the council's role in supporting the community. We are very lucky to have a quality (very highly rated by the government audits) centre which provides local ratepayers and families with the choice of not using profit-first services. Research strongly shows the benefits of not-for-profit centres. LITTLE PEOPLE OVER PROFIT FOR NEDLANDS PLEASE!!!!! 😊

Catherine McNeilly (Nedlands , 2020-09-19)

#97

Im signing in support of the facility for families in the area, I think it’s important to have these centers open because it build communities and support local businesses.

Periss-Lillie Hunt (Dalkeith , 2020-09-19)

#105

Being run but the CON allows PRCC to deliver high quality care and education to the children. Considering the importance of the early years and how it can impact future learning and success, I am fearful that by privatising PRCC, these special little people will altimately miss out.

Verity Tropiano (Victoria Park, 2020-09-19)

#107

I want the pre school to stay just the way it is, with a personal touch!

Michelle Marshall (Perth , 2020-09-20)

#108

It’s part of our community, has been and should always be

Karen Turner (Nedlands , 2020-09-20)

#112

My child previously attended point resolution. It provides a fantastic family-centred local service. It was a really good childcare option for our family when other centres didn’t compare.

Kylie Chisholm (Perth, 2020-09-20)

#113

I’m signing because my grandson attends and wants to continue attending

Carmel McAlister (Perth, 2020-09-20)

#122

Point Resolution is a much loved local institution. It runs quite differently from the typical private day care and thus offers local families a nurturing and gentle option that allows work or respite from the demands of parenting young children without guilt. Hundreds of families have passed through point res and are indebted to Romaine and her team. The closure of this centre would be a huge loss to future generations of young families.

Thirza Feutrill (Dalkeith , 2020-09-20)

#124

A friend of mine relies on this service

Jasmine Raisbeck (Swanbourne , 2020-09-20)

#126

I am signing as we need community child care to be available to all families

Guy Richmond (Claremont, 2020-09-20)

#127

I’m signing because there are too few flexible child care centres and we need every one we can get so parents can get back to work.

Julianne Allan (Swanbourne, 2020-09-20)

#129

Ensure this unique and community loved child centre continues for its residents. We look forward to our children attending

Rebecca Pearce (DALKEITH , 2020-09-20)

#130

I’m signing this petition because my children went to this childcare and it was run so well by Romaine with a home style feel. I believe privatization of thus daycare would change the way things are run. This place is a very unique daycare and quite unlike other mainstream daycares. I hope it remains under city Of Nedlands since it is situated in the Nedlands precinct. Why should we privatize local facilities which are working well to people outside of the suburb ??

Phoebe Teh (Perth, 2020-09-20)

#131

This is an amazing community facility that should be run by the council.

This facility is really important to allowing women to work in the area.

Please ensure that it stays open.
