#601The informal settlement provides cover for criminal activity. Hygiene is a real issue and human faeces is commonly found all obet the place. The living conditions are horrendous. Even if low cost housing werr erected that would be better.

Margot Glyn (Johannesburg, 2020-11-17)
#623We are proud of our area, devoting personal time and resources to keep it a welcoming environment for all who live there but the squatters are firstly breaking the law by setting up house there, they have no sanitation so they’re polluting the river and the area around it. I expect the ruling party to uphold the interests of the rate payers in their area
Antony Barker (Johannesburg , 2020-11-18)
#624Town planning is being totally disregarded
Harris Charalambous (Johannesburg, 2020-11-18)

Susan Niehaus (Johannesburg, 2020-11-18)
#662This is a health risk, safety risk and a noise disturbance. The river is probably used for sewerage, the number of people diagnosed with bilharzia in the neighbourhood is shocking (dogs play in river on walks). They used to burn plastic, which they are trying to stop unsuccessfully. I personally do not feel safe walking/ running through Field and study park on my own.
Maryna van Niekerk (Johannesburg, 2020-11-19)
#665This area is deteriorating day by day

Bev McLuckie (Sandton, 2020-11-22)
#695I live vin Parkmore and these people need assistance and removing them would make the authorities deal with them properly
Catherine Shimmin (Sandton, 2020-11-23)
#698I feel a safe environment is important and as an avid user of the Braamfontein Spruit the area in consideration has been a long standing dangerous area. The municipality needs to step in to provide a material recycling facility for the recyclers to collect and sort their materials in a safe and environmentally sound manner. The material sorting work is being undertaken informally with non-recyclable waste being burnt in the area near the river and is an environmental hazard.
Christopher O'Donovan (Johannesburg, 2020-11-23)
#702I’m a property owner in the neighbourhood and this poses both health and security risks!
Izak Van Niekerk (Sandhurst Ext4, 2020-11-23)

Robert Mohr (Sandton, 2020-12-14)
#748I frequently visit the Field and Study Centre with my dogs, and have recently had an incident with glass cutting my dog's paw due to glass been thrown in the river, it is dangerous, and makes the natural atmosphere of the park unpleasant
Samantha Dore (Johannesburg, 2020-12-29)
#749I visit the Sandton Field and Study very regularly and it is slowly deteriorating and feels less safe
Jacqui Khoury (Sandton , 2021-01-05)
#750As a regular dog walker there is a feeling of insecurity unless we walk in a crowd. The amount of rubbish piling up on the other side of the river is appalling and as a result the river and its banks is in a dreadful state, an eyesore and impacts on the birdlife negatively.
Cherry MacIldowie (Sandton, 2021-02-05)
