The ridiculous charges for PCR etc tests required are an absolute disgrace. We didn't cause the pandemic. Who did? We should not be burdened with excessive profit making charges for something that wasn't our making. We need family, we need travel, we need a conclusion NOW.

Although we are permanent residents in Spain we still have family in the UK. Now, with quarantining in place, our school age grandchildren can only get here in the summer holidays. So, to maintain family contact at this impressionable age (7 & 10) we need to travel to see them. The costs of testing dwarfs the voyage costs.

I reside in Spain and had to pay over £100 recently for PCR tests in the U.K. to travel to see my family. It’s outrageous. The covid test and fit to fly certificate I got in Spain was only 25 euros. RIp off Britain again.
