The way they are operating is dangerous, serious illnesses can be missed, the tv adverts are encouraging people to make sure they still go to the doctors but at the same time the doctors are not providing a service. This will end up putting people off from calling them and could turn out to be serious.

Ashley Rawlins (Withernsea , 2021-09-13)

I want a working healthcare system

David Shepherd (Hull, 2021-09-13)

I am worried about the NHS service here in Withernsea. We are now coming under Hedon group practice so we are told will improve services for patients, this is definitely not the case.

Dawne Parker (Withernsea, 2021-09-13)

Our doctors are useless. Can't get appt

Andrea Bentley (Withernsea, 2021-09-13)

Its ridiculous trying to get through & get a appointment, & medication & like everyone else its taking advantage of the covid situation.

Rick Monks (East riding, 2021-09-13)

#20

I believe they are most definitely not fit for purpose.

People will give up trying to make appointments with serious health issues

I have fought for years to keep a good service in Withernsea, But its got worse every year. and now its a joke nearest hospital appox 20 miles away and if people that can get to E&R, are going there to get seen

Terry Dagnall (Withernsea, 2021-09-14)

#30

The service is appalling, can never get through on the telephone and if you ever do, never any appointments leftor have to wait for call back which rarely happens

I have only been living here for 6 weeks. Was taken into hospital as I have an abdominal haematoma and it was hurting and was full of dead blood. The hospital drained it and the surgeon said they wouldn't operate as it would heal on its own. They took out 1.5 ltrs of dead blood that was 0.4 ltrs more than last time. So when I got home phone the drs and got a telephone consultant for a week later. The dr was ever so helpful and told me to go back to A&E. Which I did and again was a waste of time. I am currently living on pain killers as a dr wont see me face to face. They have a duty of care by law to ensure you receive the correct treatment and a phone consultation and palming off to someone else is breaking that duty of care.

Had experience of not been able to get appointments and having to wait on the phone for long periods of time before being answered .

Because Withernsea doctors surgery is useless I was on the phone for 3 hours and still never got spoke to.

I am totally frustrated with the volume of complaints and NOTHING changes - its so bad that as my husband and I suffer long term health conditions , we are probablt going ti leave the area to go somewhere with a better system

Chrissy Lindsley (Withernsea , 2021-09-14)

#42

I’m signing because I worked with surgery’s across the county for many years and never experienced such poor service to patients

Alistair Hopkinson (Hull, 2021-09-15)

#43

I’m fed up of not being able to get face to face appointments. I had to go and rant at the docs just to get my son antibiotics this week

Tracey Terrington (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#44

We need a Doctors surgery that operates 100% for the patients welfare, who understand the needs of the community they serve (note the word) and are accountable.

Julie Fryer (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#45

I am signing because this affects everyone registered with this surgery

J Hoyle (Hull, 2021-09-15)

#46

It's not working as it should be since the pandemic and merga of practices people are kept on the phone far too long when trying to make an appointment. A doctor cannot examine someone over the phone and now that most people are vaccinated things need to change, some one posted last week they had to wait until the end of September for a phone consultation this is not acceptable.

Sandra Binns (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#49

Constantly unable to get appointments

Stewart Brazier (Easington , 2021-09-15)

#54

Withernsea needs a doctors surgery

Mick Collins (Withernsea , 2021-09-15)

#55

The current system is not working. We need to find a system that is fit for residents.

Alison Smith (Keyingham, 2021-09-15)

#56

getting through to the doctors these days is just about impossible. I am not happy to have a video consultation, I am double vaccinated, why wont the doctors see me face to face?

Elizabeth Jones (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#57

I cannot understand this system that all but makes it impossible to see a doctor even in the most severe of cases. The current receptionist/phone call/video path is not working and seriously ill people are slipping through the net. Why can I as a fully vaccinated person not get a face to face appointment with a presumably fully vaccinated doctor. Is there another agenda here that we are not aware of?

ray jones (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#60

The service we are getting is very poor, when will they realise that with the telephone consultation system we have got the backlog will never clear, everyone is getting two consultations instead of just one! Common sense required!!

Sandra Myers (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#62

The service we get here from the doctors surgery here in Withernsea is the worst I have ever experienced in the 61 years I have been alive. By the time you can actually get an appointment, in two weeks between getting an appointment And seeing a doctor ( if lucky) the ailment has eased after two weeks of suffering, I expect people will soon be dying as they cannot see a doctor.

john rogers (Withernsea , 2021-09-15)

#66

I'm sick of the poor service you get!

David Stork (Withernsea, 2021-09-15)

#68

You cannot get a face to face appointment with a doctor and when promised a telephone appointment it is weeks in the future or they fo not call, appointments are given at other surgeries out of your own town

Victoria Taylor (Ottringham , 2021-09-16)

#69

I do not think the practice is fit for purpose

Neil Kynman (Withernsea , 2021-09-16)

#70

I cannot get an appointment to see a doctor.

Helen Sill (Withernsea , 2021-09-16)

#71

Its a shambles

Sharon Burton (Withernsea , 2021-09-16)

#74

It's discusting that we as human beings cannot get a face to face appointment but you can get flu jabs covid jabs I'm suffering bad with panic attacks but cannot get an appointment I can get telephone appointments but weeks in front it's terrible no wonder our NHS is struggling cause all non emergency are going there to be treated

Shirley Johnson (HULL, 2021-09-16)

#83

It doesn't matter how good a Dr is they can't tell what's wrong over the phone

Ann Smith (Hull, 2021-09-17)

#84

Churchview and related practices have provided poor service and barriers to prompt appointment making for years, nothing to do with covid alone being an issue. They happily collect fees for names on lists but with no capacity / intent to actually see the related numbers seeking appointments. It's time they were held to account

Ian Reed (BURSTWICK , 2021-09-17)

#85

I am signing Because I have waited for about 45 minutes and when I was nearly there got cut off. Also they said I was 5th in the queue and waited 10 minutes for each person when it was my turn it took about 2 minutes so don't know what is going on.

Alan Edmundson (Withernsea, 2021-09-17)

#86

Because I have many health issues and I haven't been seen by a doctor since the first lockdown, when I was going through a series of tests at the hospital where I was living at the time.

Linda Watson (Withernsea , 2021-09-17)

#87

I’m signing this because I don’t want to lose the doctors surgery in Withernsea or Patrington.

Carol Tiffany (Patrington, 2021-09-17)

#89

The doctors ignored my mum's symptoms and by the time she was diagnosed it was too late.

William Wilkinson (Withernsea, 2021-09-17)

#93

because I don't want to lose our GP surgery here in Withersea

Lynne Marsh (Withernsea, 2021-09-19)

#94

I hate having to explain over the phone ( if I'm lucky enough to get through) my symptoms to a telephonist. I find the whole experience embarrassing.

Christopher Brown (Withernsea, 2021-09-20)

#95

I can never get an appointment when I need one. I have had breast cancer and need to discuss the treatment I'm receiving, ring back in morning is what I get over and over

Helen Hart (Withernsea, 2021-09-20)

#100

I agree with the petition
This needs to be stopped unable to receive a appointment can cause deaths in the community the doctor need to keep a keen eye on people's medication

Andre Hulse (Doncaster, 2021-10-01)

#101

This system is not working and those who need medical help are being left without and are dying needlessly . We have paid for the NHS all our working live's and to be told we cannot get a appointment by a answer machine which cut's your call off is a disgrace and a insult .
