FEST simone (ranspach, 2021-12-28)

#208

The cost goes up and up and it's very expensive. No insurance company will cover. Wasted energy needs to be pinpointed and corrected. Less energy usage is a goal.

Wyldon Fishman (Bronx, 2021-12-29)

#211

Nuclear power is poisonous, it is not a solution to climate change, since it will take too long to implement and ultimately will cost more than renewables when society will have to manage the waste.

John Sullivan (Peekskill, 2021-12-29)

#213

I have been an antinuclear activist and an environmentalist for 45 years.

Eileen Mahood-Jose (Newark, 2021-12-29)

#214

I'm signing because I'm sorry about "my" French president.

Damien Renault (Derval, 2021-12-29)

#219

I’m signing because the EU Taxonomy subgroup DNSH TEG has effectively demonstrated that the inclusion of Nuclear Fission Technologies in the EU Sustainable Finance Taxonomy goes against the ‘Do No Significant Harm’ principle, particularly due to the socialisation of risk from high-level nuclear waste in terms of intergenerational justice.

Dr. Caroline Crowley (Cork, 2021-12-30)

The majority of Italian people is not with Cingolani and Eni.

Giuseppe Gamba (Pinerolo, 2021-12-30)

#226

nuke is not sustainable! and it's very risky

paolo de luca (rome, 2021-12-30)

#233

Guido Steenkiste (Kaprijke, 2021-12-30)

#238

I agree with the petition statement.

Claudio Fornaciari (Cadelbosco Sopra, 2021-12-31)

#242

I am completely aware of the motivation and strongly support a nucleare free Europe.

Mirko Labbri (San Fior, 2022-01-01)

#247

Nuclear technology as it is now is not sustainable regarding the principles of the Rio declaration

Gilbert Eggermont (Sint-Denijs-Westrem / Gent, 2022-01-02)

#248

This is a global issue and we all need to limit, and eventually eliminate, nuclear power—the danger of radioactive waste is just too serious to accept. In addition, the cost of nuclear energy compared to clean renewables is too great; we should use public money not to subsidize an aging, failing industry, but to invest in storage research, storage itself, and—most important regardless of fuel—efficiency and conservation.

Sally Jane Gellert (Woodcliff Lake, N.J., 2022-01-02)

#259

I am signing because I fully aggree to the position. It is a very bad mistake to assign sustainability to nuclear power and LNG.

Christian Reinhold (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#261

As nuclear power is definitively not sustainable (mainly because of the unsolved problem of nuclear waste) it is shame that it should be "greenwashed"

Werner Holzinger (Graz, 2022-01-04)

#264

I fully endorse the petition based on my own more than two decades of research in nuclear issues.

Helga Kromp-Kolb (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#266

Nuclear energy in dangerous and not green. Fossil gas is of course not green.

Sigrid Stagl (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#274

Inculding Nuclear Power and Gas goes against the very core principles of the EU-Taxonomy (Do-No-Significant-Harm)!

Fridtjof Sobanski (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#278

There are more intellegent solutions like Solar Energie for heat and Photovoltaik for Electricity, energyquarters, reducing flights, Transport and cars ....

Barbara Krobath (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#280

Nuclear Energy has not solved recycling and final storage. What have we learned from Tschernobyl and Fukushima? Nothing?!

Axel DICK (Wien, 2022-01-04)

#286

liegt auf der Hand

Andreas Ackerl (hof, 2022-01-04)

#287

Nuclear power and coal are not sustainable energy systems. The "greed deal" of the EU thus becomes implausible!

Gerhard Schlögl (Drassmarkt, 2022-01-04)

#288

Nuclear Power and Gas is not a consistent technology for future.

Horst Köpfelsberger (Koppl, 2022-01-04)

#289

Atomic Energy can never, ever be green!!!
It is a poisoning, lethal legacy to our children and oncoming generations!!!!
The final deposit of nuclear waste has no- and cannot have- a solution and the idea to have a kind of plan in 2050!!!??? For this problem is ridiculous
Japan does not know where to put the contaminated water of Fukushima‘s dammiged power plant. They intend to spill it in the sea!!!
I just gave some financial support to a rotten Russian hospital for forgotten children suffering from Leucemia.
What else can I say………

Renate Schneider (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#293

Nuclear power is contraproductive for climate change

Dietmar Kanatschnig (Altenberg bei Linz, 2022-01-04)

#294

No Atom-Power!
Only Renewable-Energy for this Money!

Walter Purth (Wien, 2022-01-04)

#298

Nobody knows until now how the solution will be for the disposal of uranium fuel rods.
But we know what is happened in Tschernobyl and Fukushima.
So it could not be to classify this type of energy generation as a consistent green energy

Gottfried Ennemoser-Hilger (6425 Haiming, 2022-01-04)

#301

The only acceptable nuclear energy source is the sun!

Rainer Sedelmayer (Wien, 2022-01-04)

#302

I'm signing because nuclear is not an option as it's residues contaminate our planet.

Richard Prem (Wien, 2022-01-04)

#306

Nuclear power and natural gas is NO sustainable and green energy and is distroying the future of our childen.

Günter Lang (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#311

#314

I am signing because the above arguments are in line with decades of my own research and teaching as head of the relevant Institute of Risk Research, University of Vienna and Institute of Safety and Risk Science, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna

Wolfgang Kromp (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#323

I think it's evident that the storage of atomic waste is still not "solved".
Nuclear power is very expensive.
Nuclear power is dangerous because the risk of an accident in a nuclear power plant is high (e.g. Fukushima) and the consequences are fatal.

Christa Wendelin (Parndorf, 2022-01-04)

#329

continuing with nuclear power and fossile gas increases the burden on climate and on the forthcoming generations. It is our duty to start a decisive move to solve the clkimate crisis NOW.

Kurt Kotrschal (Scharnstein, 2022-01-04)

#330

Nuclear power is dangerous, and a safe deposit has not yet been found ...

Natural gas not only generates CO2 when it is burned, but if the methane emissions are added up, the harmfulness to the climate increases considerably!

Josef Gansch (Neudörfl, 2022-01-04)

#335

The risk of severe impacts of accidents in nuclear power plants are too high and the problem of nuclear waste is unsoved-

Ernst Lung (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#337

i love the generations who live in 1000 years

Ernestine Theil (Wien, 2022-01-04)

#345

there is no way that nuclear energy ever becomes a green solution for climate change.

Brunhilde Schram (Linz, 2022-01-04)

I dont believe in nuclear power as sustainable due to MZ Jakobson, Jan Wilhem Storm Van Leeuven, Oxford Group and ISA
This is the future: https://monitoringpublic.solaredge.com/solaredge-web/p/site/public?name=Lindfors%20solkraft#/dashboard

Mats Lindfors (Västerås, 2022-01-04)

#356

I'm signing, because nuclear energy is not to be considered 'sustainable' in any way, in fact the opposite! As the text above explains perfectly, adverse effects can occur decades after the construction of the technology, let alone the problem of the residual waste still unsolved!
I plea the European Union to rethink the currently planned path in regards to nuclear energy and don't give in to some political short- thinking! I consider the overall Taxonomy as an important step and chance towards real sustainability- wich will be achieved only without nuclear energy!

Nora Bohrn (Biedermannsdorf, 2022-01-04)

#361

The IEA report named NetZero2050 clearly states nuclear is not a renewable energy. Burying HLW is creating a nightmare for whoever lives on this planet 200,000+ years from today. No one can predict the damage it will due to Earth's water, ground and air.

Dennis Cambly (Edmonton, 2022-01-04)

#363

I am signing because nuclear power is not sustainable!

Gerd Sammer (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#365

I am signing because nuclear power can never be sustainable. Instead of investing in nuclear power we should foster the worldwide dissemination of real renewable energies, such as hydropower, windpower and solar energy in order to ensure future generations having an environment worth living in. We can not allow ourselves to loose valuable time for the big transformation to a better and healthier environment by allowing and supporting investments in a "false friend" like nuclear power.

Beate Sternig (Villach-Warmbad, 2022-01-04)

#367

I'm fighting against nuclear power stations since I was 23..... I'm 73 now and still there is no secure way to get rid of nuclear waste....

Sabine Böcher (Koppl, 2022-01-04)

#370

I am concerned about this dangerous development which contradicts the EU sustainability endeavours and threatens a path for a better future.

Gerald Dick (Retz, 2022-01-04)

#371

I am signing because assigning sustainability to nuclear power and fossile fuels (LNG) would be a bad mistake. For the "green deal" we'll need other solutions.

Karl Lummerstorfer (Gramastetten, 2022-01-04)

#372

Nuclear power is not green, because the building of the power plant needs huge resources as well as maintaining them. However, my biggest concern is the nuclear waste. As long as we have no idea how to manage the toxic waste, we have no right to produce them. We need to guarantee a healthy life for our next generations! Climate change is another threat to nuclear power plants and may lead to catastrophic accidents.

Elisabeth G. (Wien, 2022-01-04)

#375

I am afraid of atomar energy.

Wolfgang Kubassa (Gabersdorf, 2022-01-04)

#376

All Problems with nuclear Power are unsolved!! Imagine an accident of a NPP in the middle of Europe... ???

Berthold Schleich (Graz, 2022-01-04)

#377

Hans Holzinger (Seekirchen, 2022-01-04)

#381

Nuclear energy will never be renewable nor sustainable no matter how far it is streched and focusing solely on carbon emissions is mistaken, because it needs a full resources accounting for the lifetime of nuclear plants and beyond, which will show that the EROEI for nuclear and its costs per MW is abmyssaly bad and senseless. Besides that uraniam reserves are limited like all other natural resources. Many other aspects are abound and are to some extent covered in the expert group review but needs to go way beyond the very narrow aspects the EU commission considers relevant, which is grossly negligible and inexcusable, which needs to take wider systemic and integral ecological, economic, social, cultural and political aspects in its view. Anything less is not acceptable.

Peter Gringinger (Vienna, 2022-01-04)

#385

#393

Nuclear power is NOT sustainable

Ruth Pohlhammer (Steyr, 2022-01-04)

#399

I'm signing because .... misguided finance leads to errant action leads to even more destruction of the world.

Walter Bruckner (Tulbing, 2022-01-04)

#400

I'm signing because nuclear power creates so far unmanageable long-term issues. We are demolishing future options with spent nuclear fuel problems.
