I deserve to keep my health coverage I retired with.

Steve Cohen (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1007

It is crucial to allow Retirees who are on a fixed income to choose their health care.

Annette Mandis (NY, 2022-03-14)

#1011

Medical care will be compromised and unpredictable for NYC retirees without reliable information provided to them, medical staff and hospitals. One should be given the option to opt in not forced to opt out at such a high cost. It is a vulnerable population that is being targeted.

Eneida Heilig (Hawthorne, 2022-03-14)

#1012

I do not want to be forced into this new health program proposed by the city.

Michael Belgrave (Brooklyn, 2022-03-14)

#1015

I am retired for many years. Therefore have a smaller pension. I cannot afford the payments. I spend many months on Florida where most of my drs will NOT take MAP. They do not want to ask for preauthorizations for everything. They say who will be deciding how I practice medicine ????
Please help us and do Not abandon us as we grow old.

Deborah Friedman (Cedarhurst, 2022-03-14)

#1016

I am a retired city worker trying to survive on a limited income, pension and social security. I can not afford to pay $382 per month ($191 X 2) to keep my current health coverage, and do not want my health insurance diminished by going into MAP.

Harry Nussdorf (Douglaston, 2022-03-14)

#1017

I prefer to remain in my current plans and not have to pay a penalty

Douglas R Kozlik (Long Beach, 2022-03-14)

#1020

I don’t want privatized Medicare Advantage.

Marty Kellerman (Roslyn Heights, 2022-03-14)

#1024

I want to keep my health insurance as it has been for ever.

Shirley Bergman (Bayside, NY, 2022-03-14)

#1025

I am happy with what I have

Marjorie LaBarbera (Jackson Heights, 2022-03-14)

#1027

We worked hard to earn the retiree benefits that we now enjoy. Please don't offer us this inferior Medicare Advantage Plan. Please do not Appeal Judge Frank's decision.

Jonathan Levine (Lewiston, 2022-03-14)

#1028

It reflects my thoughts.

Marilyn Kleinberg (East Meadow , 2022-03-14)

#1030

I devoted 37 years to City service, most in a managerial position. I chose public service even though the pay was much less than comparable jobs in the private sector. Part of the decision was my understanding of the health care benefits I would have in retirement. The steep increase in premiums for GHI Senior care would violate my understanding of my terms of employment.

Diane Lipset (Suffern, 2022-03-14)

#1033

Please don't diminish our Sr. Health Care and Original Medicare. The Advantage Plan is awful for Sr. Citizens.
We need a choice of plans that address each Sr. individually.

Phyllis Pomerantz (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1037

I do not want my Medicare benefits changed to an advantage plan. These advantage plans are a misnomer. There is no advantage for me or anyone who is serious about their medical care.

Francine Penner (Great Neck, 2022-03-14)

#1039

I believe that any Avantage Plan is inferior to the plan I already have, GHI-Senior Care. When I retired I was never told that I could lose my plan without being offered an Equivalent plan!

Jo-Ann Segal (Coeymans, 2022-03-14)

#1041

I want to stay with the existing insurance - Medicare senior Care

Naomi Harris (Brooklyn n y , 2022-03-14)

#1046

It is very unfair that we have to pay more for the same insurance or loose the quality insurance we had.

Eva Braun (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1049

The Advantage plan is less than what we have and in Florida it would be even worse.

John Bernath (lake worth, 2022-03-14)

#1050

I have many illnesses and travel in my RV full time!
Pre-authorization is not something that would benefit me!

Michael Imparato (Hendersonville, 2022-03-14)

#1051

I worked hard for 47 yrs, dutifully giving it my all during good times and extremely difficult one. I was promised the current retirement MEDICAL Plan upon retiring. I worked hard for it I deserve it. The new one is a slap in the face. SUBSTANDARD.

Evelyn Malcos (New. York, 2022-03-14)

#1053

I want to keep my health benefits they way they are

Irene Hammer (Daniel island, 2022-03-14)

#1058

I do not want NYC retirees going into a Medicare Advantage Plan and I do not want to pay for the GHI Senior Care that retirees had at no cost.

Madeline Roberts (Merrick, 2022-03-14)

#1059

I believe we should keep the health insurance we were promised when we retired.

Eleanor Adelstein (Long island, 2022-03-14)

#1060

I am signing because I believe in fairness and promises.

Leslie Keena (Highland beach, 2022-03-14)

#1074

I contributed to Medicare and Social Security throughout my entire teaching career and deserve the healthcare benefits awarded in our contract.

Sarah Ross (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1077

I believe we are eligible for health care for life free of cost. Grandfather us in to senior care or choice

Nicki Klatzko (New Citu, 2022-03-14)

#1078

I'm signing because Medicare Advantage Plans only benefit insurance companies and are bad for seniors.

Sue Dodell (Bronx, 2022-03-14)

#1086

The MAP plan is less than we bargained for. It’s as if we’re being cheated out of what we worked for.

Glenn DeVino (Mamaroneck , 2022-03-14)

#1087

I believe we should keep the insurance we were promised when we retired. And that Mayor Adams should do the right thing and not forcing us into changing to an inferior plan

June Feigenblatt (Boynton Beach , 2022-03-14)

#1089

I want the right to continue membership in the health plan that I have had for over 40 years. There should be no penalty for keeping my insurance . Heath insurance was an integral part of yrs of contact negotiations. To now force retirees to switch plans or pay penalties in order to save the city money is disgraceful Targeting seniors in order to find city extra money is , in my opinion age discrimination.

Katherine Goldberg (Lakeworth , 2022-03-14)

#1091

I worked for over 30 years living paycheck to paycheck for the promise of GOOD Healthcare in retirement.....not a Medicare Advantage Plan.

Beth Haft (Syosset, 2022-03-14)

#1093

Because I was promised the same health care as when I worked I want to keep my Medicare as is and not be forced to pay for it

Janet Valenti (NYC, 2022-03-14)

#1094

I want the health coverage I had, not a Medicare Advantage Plan which is not Medicare

Matthew Roth (Aventura, 2022-03-14)

#1095

I do not want the Mayor to appeal the Court’s decision.

Stanley Garfunkel (Queens, NY, 2022-03-14)

#1097

My city and my union betrayed us. I retired 7 years ago at 62 with a disability, now have multiple health issues. I'm 69 and need my health insurance to stay as it is. I live on a fixed income and can't afford to pay for what was promised to remain free to us.

Theresa Angelillo (Fresh Meadows, New York , 2022-03-14)

#1098

I want my original Medicare that was promised and that I paid for

Joseph DiFede (Staten Island , 2022-03-14)

#1099

When I and the other 250,000 NYC retirees left City service we were promised that our health insurance would continue UNCHANGED as long as we were alive. For the City to try to change it in the underhanded manner that it was handled, is not only illegal, but morally reprehensible. We all worked hard for the City and made much, much less than we would have in the private sector with the understanding that our health insurance needs would be covered in our retirement years. We need the City to honor its promise and maintain our health insurance.

John Castellaneta (North Bellmore, 2022-03-14)

#1104

More so than ever, my health and Medicare matters to me!

Virginia Parisi (Howard Beach, 2022-03-14)

#1105

Our original plan was better than the medicare advantage plus plan offered to us

RONALD HIRSHMAN (GLEN ROCK, 2022-03-14)

#1106

I gave 31 years of dedicated service to my department, my patients, and the citizens of NYC. I could have earned more in salary working for the voluntary hospitals, but accepted the sacrifice in exchange for promised pension and continued level of no cost heath care.

Its a disgrace to steal our benefits . Fund your obligations without hurting retirees.

Mark Peck (Matthews, 2022-03-14)

#1108

This map is a piece of crap done with under the table bargaining that retirees had no idea was happening. We were used to get raises for active employees which my union head harry nespoli should be ashamed of.

Joe Barenzano (Islip Terrace , 2022-03-14)

#1114

I don't feel that the plan that is being proposed is very limited and restrictive in meeting our health needs.

Camille Ferdinand (Brooklyn , 2022-03-14)

#1118

There are many elderly retirees who cannot benefit and may very well be harmed by being forced into an Advantage plan. Additionally, these very same retirees cannot afford to pay for a supplemental plan. Promises must be kept.

Roberta Klein (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1121

This new plan does not serve my or my family’s needs. This is not what we were promised!

Carolyn Krinsky-Adinolfi (Staten Island, 2022-03-14)

#1125

We must make sure that there is no two tier health system in this city.

Lucy Zaslow (New York, New York, 2022-03-14)

#1130

I worked total over fifty years for my Medicare. I was a dedicated city worker for half of those years.

Shumel Joyce (Bayside, 2022-03-14)

#1131

I lived up to my part of the bargain, now that I have retired, it is the City's obligation to live up to its!

Charles Trachta (Henrico, VA, 2022-03-14)

#1133

The Medicare Advantage plan is terrible-many preauthorizations -can endanger health and life.
They also shunt you to their preferred facilities, which are not mine or my doctors!
Medicare has served us well & deserves our support.

Sandra Shapiro (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1134

I want Medicare, which I worked for my whole career, not the substandard Medicare Advantage.

Frank DeGennaro (Nanuet, 2022-03-14)

#1135

I want to believe Mayor Adams is an honorable man and will stand up for the retirees of the City of New York and allow them to have the healthcare they've earned and deserve.

Barry Reiss (Great Neck, 2022-03-14)

#1136

Pensioners on Medicare need to keep their current plan without penalties.

Marguerite Durkin (NY, 2022-03-14)

#1137

We signed for lifetime healthcare when we were hired. Then we accepted lower or no pay raises at contract negotiations to keep our healthcare. Now after many years of loyal city service, city is trying to give us inferior healthcare or pay very high monthly payments to keep healthcare promised to us. We are on fixed incomes and cannot afford these premiums. Totally unfair!

John Hagan (Staten Island, 2022-03-14)

#1150

I can not risk having to change providers or wait for preauthorization for procedures prescribed by th physicians of my choice.

Benay Waitzman (New York , 2022-03-14)

#1151

This attempt at forcing retirees to sign up for MAP+is unfair and not whatee agreed to.

Gail Sternfeld (Rego Park, 2022-03-14)

#1152

I need GHI SENIOR CARE NOT MAP+

Joseph Dubofsky (New york, 2022-03-14)

#1153

I OPPOSE MA.
DEAL WITH US AND NOT THE COURTS!!

Alan J Odze (Middletown, 2022-03-14)

#1155

I want to keep my Medicare and senior care with no additional cost to me

Ken Zaug (Stormville, 2022-03-14)

#1156

Retirees deserve their choice of health insurance . No one should dictate a plan!

Marsha Jakubowicz ( Bronx, 2022-03-14)

#1158

The city promised us certain health care benefits. It is wrong to have them renege and harm the elderly and the infirm.

Alan Silberlight (Mechanicsburg, 2022-03-14)

#1168

We deserve to keep the medical plan we were promised when we retired. It’s as simple as that. Please do the right thing, Mayor Adams! Thanks in advance!

Janet Newton (Middle Village, 2022-03-14)

#1169

I want to keep my Medicare Senior Plan.

Cheryl Glick (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1170

Want to ask the mayor not yo go ahead with the appeal to change our Medicare Senior Care.

Volpe June (Staten Island, 2022-03-14)

#1173

Every retiree was promised original Medicare and GHI. That’s what I want! I was a teacher for 30 years with this expectation.

Harriet Glassman (New York, 2022-03-14)

#1178

the city was wrong to take away our Medicare and Senior scare. Medicare should never be privatized. It should never have become part of “ for profit businesses “.

Sharon Richman (Brooklyn, 2022-03-14)

#1179

Bargaining was done for health care in good faith years ago. We are entitled to Medicare with no profit-making middleman

Suellen Rubin (NYC, 2022-03-14)

#1184

I'm signing this because I am fearful of the NYC Medicare Advantage Plus Plan reducing my healthcare. I am content with the Senior Care Plan that I have had for 9 years and feel that I want the option to remain in it without paying a penalty.

Susan Mindlin (Bronx, 2022-03-14)

#1185

NYPD said they are self insured workmans compensation and dont let you file regular WC, because they continue to offer same insurance free that I had when I was working, after disability retirement. well now this isn’t true and I have had 5 spinal surgeries POST retirement from my Line of duty injuries. what if MAPP rejects my doctor requests for tests or surgery? I shouldn’t have to pay for what was promised free.

john Dineen (Norfolk, 2022-03-14)

#1186

Oppose the MAPP plan for retirees. I want to keep what I was promised. Traditional Medicare and GHI senior care.

Paula Russo (Brooklyn , 2022-03-14)

#1190

I believe we have the right to stay in our current medical plan without having to pay a penalty every month, especially as we age & live on a fixed income.

Hieger Leslie (Melville, 2022-03-14)

#1198

I do not want to have my earned benefits taken away from me and I should not be forced to pay extra for what I earned and was promised. It is devastating that those In power in NYC and in my union have so little care and respect for its retirees, as demonstrated by this inferior plan. Despite the “extras” they brag about, the truth is that those tiny crumbs don’t compare in any measure to the plans we now have. They should be ashamed of trying to balance the budget &/or cost cut by decreasing the healthcare for their senior citizens…senior who served this city. I want Mayor Adams to put himself in our shoes and see that he should be standing with us.

Doris Bremner (NYC, 2022-03-14)

#1199

I’m signing this because maintaining our health insurance as we were promised upon retirement is the right thing to do

Lucia C Taylor (Staten Island, , 2022-03-14)
