No More Warehouses

I’m signing because the city of Pendergrass is destroying our community. We don’t have the infrastructure to support this growth and we don’t need MORE EMPTY WAREHOUSES!!!

Teressa Hollis (Pendergrass, 2022-04-14)

#9

Our infrastructure can’t handle more warehouse and the crazy drivers with no respect for others that come with it.

Julie Faircloth (Pendergrass , 2022-04-14)

#13

I am tired of the warehouses being thrown up all over Pendergrass and destroying our small community. The roads are becoming more and more dangerous due to high traffic from 18 wheelers. Stop destroying our community

LaCosta Farmer (Pendergrass, 2022-04-14)

#16

There are enough warehouses here that are empty. It’s not going to increase the value, and the roads are going to be more over run with trucks than they already are.

James Marino (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#17

I'm signing because I believe this creates a HUGE safety concern for those families that live in the neighborhoods nearby. This will bring in a lot more traffic and congestion with these families trying to simply come and go from their subdivision on a daily basis. Not to mention the noise pollution this will create for the homes close by. These individuals bought homes in a small community with hopes of living in a nice rural and quiet area, something that the city of Pendergrass has always been known for. All of that will be taken away from them in addition to decreasing their property value.

Mary Ekard (Jefferson, 2022-04-15)

#18

I’m signing this petition because a giant chain of warehouses so close to our neighborhoods and little school would be hazardous and detrimental. The safety of our children and our home values would be at stake and no amount of money should be worth harming either of those. Our children have enough bad air to breathe as it is, they don’t need more polluted air right in their backyards. Adding 2,600+ vehicles/trucks to our tiny local area would be way too dangerous! For someone to even think another thought of putting 4 warehouses right next door to us making life as we know it more harmful for everyone in every way possible who moved here for less noise and less pollution would be inhumane. Think twice, be nice, and let us live in what peace we have left!

Megan McCoy (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#22

These warehouses are destroying the ecosystems in our county, causing animals to flee and the destruction of forests, changing the climate in the region due to black asphalt. We moved to Talmo to rid ourselves of this kind of disaster. We must have a balance between what man takes away from what God provided !

Traci Lawson (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#23

I am signing because I am a resident of Alan Bridge subdivision and this is going behind my house.

Alina Garrison (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#27

Warehouses are bringing too many tractor trailers to our neighborhoods.

John Todd (Hoschton, 2022-04-15)

#28

No more warehouses!!!!!

Stephanie M Sims (Winder, 2022-04-15)

#29

I support the moratorium of building residential properties in Jackson Co. & deplore the corrupt government of Pendergrass' blatant attempt to bypass the county moratorium

Lynne Fouraker (Jefferson, 2022-04-15)

#30

I live in Allen Creek Farms and these 4 large industrial warehouses will be directly behind my home and property.

Amy Stovall (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#34

I oppose the traffic increase and the eye sore this brings to our beautiful land. This purchase borders our land directly. NO WAREHOUSES AND THE MESS IT BRINGS.

Matthew Fauley (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#35

I am a resident and homeowner in Allen Creek and this will not only cause more traffic, air quality, and quality of life for us as residence. Also, I believe there is a cemetery of a revolutionary soldier, his wife and maybe more graves on this property. Please consider not approving this property for industrial use

Faye Bailey (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#36

I strongly oppose the proposed building of the warehouses as it would negatively affect my family directly.

Hailee Fauley (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#40

No more warehouses!!

Franki Seay (Pendergrass, 2022-04-15)

#41

We do not need more traffic on hwy129 nor do I want to hear construction and cars at all hours of the day.

Joshua Mccoy (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#42

I’m signing because this warehouse project will back up directly to my property line and to have that many cars and trucks coming in and out every day is absolutely a health concern. It’s also a safety hazard.

Christie Coleman (Talmo, 2022-04-15)

#46

I am signing this because I live in the subdivision adjacent to the proposed property. I bought my home here because of the privacy and peace living outside of the city. This property was USDA (Rual). Building these warehouses will interrupt our day to day life here and devalue our land. Many of us chose here to live to get away from the busyness and noise of the city.

Ryan Gerrald (Talmo , 2022-04-16)

#50

There is a burial ground here. 2nd i live close and do not want warehouses in my back yard

Michal Benslay (Talmo, 2022-04-16)

#51

Enough is enough, warehouse after warehouse, some empty. Traffic has become horrible. The destruction of our environment and forests will never be recovered. Our BOC are brainless and do not understand their ideas of hundreds of warehouses and of cookie cutter houses. We are headed as being like Gwinnett county. There are no jobs here except for warehouses, restaurants and grocery stores and tons of dental offices all in the same area.
Working people have to get on 85 to get to work. Apparently ignorance is
rampant.

Helen Hoag (Jefferson, 2022-04-16)

#52

We have too many warehouses going up and, I think it’s starting to look like the south side of Atlanta. If this doesn’t stop, home prices will drop through the floor.

Jonathan Moon (Talmo, 2022-04-16)

#54

No more warehouses

Deborah Deyton (Talmo , 2022-04-16)

#56

I am feed up with all the warehouses being put in and no grocery stores are in the other shopping area and concern of the children plus there’s no sound barriers and they’re ripping down all the trees creating more dust and dirt and worry about the environmental impact it’s going to have on our community

James Maisel (Talmo, 2022-04-16)

#59

I’m signing because I am against additional warehouses in my community! This would be right next to my neighborhood!

Ainsley Rackley (Talmo, 2022-04-17)

#61

This would be built behind our home. It’s unjust, unkind and completely unnecessary to add more warehouses to this area.

Please reconsider this.

Emmanual Ruiz (Talmo, 2022-04-17)

#63

It is directly behind behind my back yard.. Also will affect the value of my property in a negative way.

Lindy Stovall (Talmo, 2022-04-17)

#65

Want no more industrial growth. We are in need of more green space and wildlife.

Angela Boatright (Pendergrass, 2022-04-18)

#66

Please no more warehouses!!

Kristin Turner (Hoschton, 2022-04-18)

#71

I want the county to preserve the rural state of our county.

Maida Ajanovic (Jefferson, 2022-04-18)

#73

I am SO suck and tired of the "dirtying up and congesting up" our area!! EYESORE which in turn creates our entire area being nothing but a TRUCKSTOP. It already is. YOU are responsible for making sure our cimmunity has enjoyable greenspace. I am a Real Estate Agent and 4 times now having relocators turn away homes I chose them to view saying #1 they are not moving here to be in middle of teuckatop and #2 "we were told how nice Jackson County and Clarke are. No one told us we were in an industrial area!"
I myself moved here for the beautiful countryside BUT you have dug it all up and we are now one of the places NOT to live in. You, the officials have done this. Lastly, what about our roads that cannot handle even what we had before all this? Be assured I don't want to live here anymore either. Have you seen the amount of roadkill? Numbers of Deer impact accidents? What does that tell you ey? **Answer: they have nonplace to love anymore. You have upaet our entire ecosystem. How about leaving something for our grandchildren!

Pamelah Howard (Jefferson, 2022-04-18)

#77

We have enough warehouses in our area. Need to diversify.

Pascal Theberge (Jefferson , 2022-04-18)

#83

We have enough wearhouses in the entire country. Time to stop and listen to the residents! We don't want anymore! Anywhere! We have enough.

Paula Price (Jefferson , 2022-04-19)

#93

Jackson County is overrun with warehouses, we need this to be a community of citizens that can contribute back to the community not with large trucks and traffic that is no benefit to the community. This is a farming community NOT industrial warehousing community. For the health and safety of our community please stop and think about our next generation.

Kelly Gooch (PENDERGRASS, 2022-04-20)

#96

There are plenty of empty ones why build more. Stop the greed. I'm not against growth but this explosion is not good for the infastructure.

Anita McGee (Talmo, 2022-04-20)

#98

Jackson County does not need any more warehouses. Too many now and half sitting empty.

Shirley Kinney (Pendergrass, 2022-04-20)

#101

No more warehouses

Gary Allen (Talmo , 2022-04-20)

#102

I have not spoken to a single person that wants more warehouses. The only people that are for them are people that stand to gain from them financially. At this point there is already a labor shortage in our area. More warehouses would make that worse as well as the added traffic and drain on infrastructure resources.

STEPHANIE DENARD (COMMERCE, 2022-04-21)

#105

We got enough low paying warehouse jobs.

Dennis Free (Pendergrass , 2022-04-21)

#107

I would rather have a sports complex built we don’t have one nearby.

Reynaldo Mata (Talmo, 2022-04-22)

#108

We have enough of warehouses now stop taken people homes and land away from them they worked hard that place to live

Renee Evans (Talmo, 2022-04-22)

#109

Too many warehouses already in Pendergrass and over half of those are not being used.

Kimberlie Sewell (Talmo , 2022-04-22)

#110

Already enough warehouses in Pendergrass

Jarrard Sewell (Talmo , 2022-04-22)

#113

I'm signing this because we do not need or want the amount of noise and traffic that these warehouses will cause being this close to our neighborhood.

Michael Bailey (Talmo, 2022-04-22)

#114

PLEASE SAVE JACKSON NO MORE WAREHOUSES WE NEED TO LOWER OUR TAXES!.

Isabel Keaton (Talmo, 2022-04-22)

#117

I am tired of the warehouses. I am tired of the growth to make this great county another Gwinnet. My family moved here 24 years ago because of the small quiet town feeling in the county and towns here. It is gone now. When we moved here we couldn't hear I-85 any time of day. Now we do and it's getting worse. It needs to stop.

Janet McDonald (Commerce, 2022-04-22)

#119

We don't need any more traffic on our small back roads. Jackson County infrastructure can barely handle what is currently drawing off of it as it stands.

Raymond Hunt (Talmo , 2022-04-22)

#120

Why build commercial warehouses in a very residential area that will bring in more trucks? Another horribly planned place in Jackson county is near the intersection of I-85 and Hwy 53 at the McDonalds where there is a truck stop in a busy area creating driving hazards. Why not move the truck stop up away from this retail area? I really don’t get why this safety issue can’t be dealt with. The truck traffic it creates is ugly in such a beautiful area. It speaks that our local governance either doesn’t care or they are incompetent in their ability to improve the situation. My thoughts.

Michael Burgess (Pendergrass , 2022-04-22)

#121

I am signing because I am one of the 65 plus homes that will be next door to the proposed “Jackson Farms industrial park”. It would definitely be a healthy and safety concern to not just my family and I but to the other families in the 2 subdivision.

Diego Cuevas (Talmo , 2022-04-22)

#124

Nobody wants these warehouses. Only the ones who want money and power and to turn this into Buford

Ryan Neese (Pendergrass, 2022-04-22)

#125

I’m signing because my home will be directly impacted by the proposed annexation.

Nancy Deadwyler (Talmo, 2022-04-22)

#126

Being built directly in my backyard

Joshua Deadwyler (Talmo, 2022-04-22)

#127

I do not want warehouses surrounding my neighborhood

Daniel Staton (Talmo, 2022-04-23)

#129

I am sick of these massive warehouses taking up our town, and our state. most of them are empty anyways

Annslie Staton (Talmo, 2022-04-23)

#130

I own a home and am a resident in the adjacent subdivision. Surrounding us with warehouses will increase, traffic, noise, and pollution, that would significantly decrease our quality of life, as well as our property values. I invested in my home, AND I DO PAY PROPERTY TAXES!

Joan Beebe (Talmo, 2022-04-23)

#134

There are already too many empty warehouses in the area. Please preserve what is left of the reason we all moved here….peace and quiet.

Jody Patterson (Pendergrass , 2022-04-23)

#135

I do not want large warehouses near the neighbor that my family lives in. The Mai. Reason we moved out to Talmo and Pendergrass was to fine a peaceful town to raise our family. With the warehouses being built up, the area will become full traffic and noise pollution at all hours of the day.

Joshua Daunhauer (Talmo, 2022-04-23)

#137

WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE WAREHOUSES IN JACKSON COUNTY! AND IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN IN MY BACKYARD, I WOULD HOPE OTHERS WOULD STAND UP WITH ME AND SAY NO!

HEATHER WATSON (Pendergrass, 2022-04-23)

#138

Pendergrass should manage the growth within the current city limits without annexation of other properties outside there jurisdiction just to add tax base ten years down the road and help the current political administration not to mention the impact to homeowners in the area which purchased there homes first.

Wayne ECHOLS (Talmo, 2022-04-23)

#139

You can’t unbuild distribution centers, but you can unbuild small towns everywhere

Malachi Walker (Pendergrass, 2022-04-23)

#143

I'm signing because our area needs to be smarter at managing growth. Cities need to stop catering to developers when the country says no! The cities do not have to deal with the ramifications like schools, public safety, roads, etc. Stop letting developers run things! Listen to the citizens and do better!

Cynthia Smith (Hoschton, 2022-04-24)

#144

We don't need any more warehouses out here that are a constant nuisance and terrible drives causing severe safety Hazards for our families.

James Hunt (Pendergrass , 2022-04-24)

#151

I don’t want anymore warehouses!! We already have too many and they all sit empty!!

Franki Seay (Pendergrass, 2022-04-24)

#153

My childrens lives and our lives will be greatly affected by this development. Please no more warehouse

Kirsty Ramirez (Talmo, 2022-04-24)

#159

I'm sign because I'm a home owner next door to where they are wanting to put more warehouses on our road. Stop please!

Deborah Moss (Talmo, 2022-04-25)

#162

We do not need any
More warehouses because it takes away from family
Living and our community. It brings too many trucks in our area which is a safety hazard to the cars and people who live in this area. We will never be able to build up our communities if all
We have is trucks!!!

Carol Pittinger (Talmo, 2022-04-25)

#168

I oppose this project.

Nancy McNeese (Jefferson, 2022-04-25)

#169

We have too many warehouses here already. The rezoning here needs to stop.

Jeri Welborn (Jefferson , 2022-04-25)

#170

I am signing this because I am a home owner that will be directly impacted.

Brandon McCurry (Talmo, 2022-04-25)

#172

Corporations are taking over the county and traffic is becoming increasingly deadly. The pollution generated by the trucks is detrimental to our health and the constant highway noise from the leveling of much needed tree barriers is disturbing to the peacefulness of the citizens.

Karen Favor (Hoschton, 2022-04-26)

#179

Please stop allowing all of the building in our beautiful county. I have lived here all of my life and love the rural life. Traffic is a nightmare, and crime is increasing daily. We do not want any more building in our area!

Tammy Roberts (Pendergrass, 2022-04-26)

#182

I live here and don't want industry to take over.

Joyce Garmon (Talmo, 2022-04-28)

LeeAnn Clairmont-Wood (Asheville , 2022-05-13)

#192

I work in pendergrass. Enough is enough. There are way to many warehouses now. There are at least five under construction as we speak and not all the ones built have been rented or sold.
