Natasha Livings (Brighton, 2022-05-28)

#208

Very sad that this delightful little coffee business has been closed down by bullying!

Lorraine Slaven (Brisbane , 2022-05-28)

#209

Tom should be allowed to operate where he is

Leigh Jose (Boondall, 2022-05-28)

#210

I would like the Coffee Van back please.

Diann Hansen (Brisbane, 2022-05-28)

#211

I believe in small business and the joy this wonderful man brings to others. Stop bullying The Coffee Man.

Barbara KINGHORN (Brighton, 2022-05-28)

#212

Bullying is not acceptable and 1 complaining resident is precisely why we end up not being able to celebrate Christmas or Easter at childcare and why Coon cheese is now called Cheer!

Sharon Lawton (Brisbane , 2022-05-28)

#214

When I go here, I definitely want coffee!

Heather Potter (Malvern East, 2022-05-28)

#215

This is a great coffee van and the owners are so lovely & friendly. Great for a morning chat and great coffee too.
I don’t feel one person has the right to stop a lovely couple cease their business.
We need this business in this area - there is nothing else at this end of the foreshore.

Robyn Welch (Bracken Ridge, 2022-05-28)

#216

I stop here regularly. It’s lovely to chat to Thomas who is super friendly and his coffee is amazing. It is terrible if he has left

Gail Singleton (Brighton, 2022-05-28)

#220

I love getting a coffee from my coffee guy. I'm new to the area and he is so lovely to chat to and Ive meet some other lovely locals to.

Tieri McKenzie (Brisbane, 2022-05-28)

#221

It’s a nice place to stop on my walks

Renata Cross (Taigum, 2022-05-28)

#222

The coffee van is a great community service much needed coffee where there is nothing else

Pam Harvey (Brisbane , 2022-05-28)

#227

Bring back the best coffee and catch up place.

Ree Woodward (Brighton, 2022-05-28)

#228

It’s great having a coffee spot along the waterfront! We need one further down towards Brighton 😊

Lynne Drinnen (Brighton , 2022-05-28)

#229

I’m signing here because we all love a coffee or hot chocolate, don’t get rid of a little business

Amanda Oldfield (Sandgate, 2022-05-28)

#231

This guy does great coffee and really adds social element in the waterfront. Let’s keep him !

Linda Durant (Brighton, 2022-05-28)

#235

A great small business that brings the community together and attracts people to the foreshore.

Alisa Bradley-Moore (Inglewood, 2022-05-28)

#248

I will be lost without my weekend coffee

Kylie Lonergan (Brisbame, 2022-05-28)

#250

There is no rational or logical reason for the coffee guy not to be there.

Desley Arnold (Bracken Ridge, 2022-05-28)

#252

What a rubbish decision. It's great coffee and they are lovely people.
Who on earth would be that bitter?
I hope common sense prevails but if it doesn't I'll happily travel to get caffeinated and chat.

All the best Thomas & Leanne, hope to see you soon and keep us posted where you next pop up xx

Melissa G (Brighton, 2022-05-28)

#253

I'm signing because I can't believe this happens. One whiging local shouldn't mean the coffee guy has to go. Should be up to the community, not one person!

Angela Little (Brisbane, 2022-05-28)

#255

It is unaustralian to not give a fair go to this business

Andrew Milner (Port Sorell, 2022-05-28)

#256

I think this is ridiculous, My Coffee Man should beable to stay to provide Coffee to all those who enjoy them

Amanda Kelly (Sandgate, 2022-05-28)

#261

Rich people that own houses on the Sandgate/Brighton shouldn’t be able to dictate all the activities that occur on the foreshore.

Jason Anderson (Deagon, 2022-05-28)

#262

I'm signing because the voice of a few shouldnt get an honest, friendly, local business shut down or relocated when many, many community members took great enjoyment in this service in Brighton.

Nicole Watson (Brisbane, 2022-05-28)

#268

It's ridiculous that he shouldn't be able to operate there!

Sam Nelson (Brisbane, 2022-05-28)

#272

We should not give into misfits

Shane Whelan (Coleraine , 2022-05-28)

#273

We need small businesses... especially since covid restrictions have significantly reduced profits for them.

Kelly Davidson (Brighton , 2022-05-28)

#278

I’m a supporter of small business in our local area and love coffee.

Kim Harper (Brisbane, 2022-05-29)

#279

It’s onLy fare that he be able to make a living

Maria Rorke (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#281

I love the vibe with a cool coffee cart and other traders along our foreshore it adds to the beauty and charm of this little patch of paradise

Virgil Garlinge (Sandgate , 2022-05-29)

#284

We need to give these businesses a chance. Address the reason for the complaint with a solution rather then just shutting down his lively hood

Deb Kelly (Brisbane, 2022-05-29)

#288

I know how much joy Tom and his coffee has brought to many locals and one person’s selfish desire to own what is for everyone should not be allowed.

Anna Davis (Ashgrove, 2022-05-29)

#290

As a resident is Brighton this coffee vendor has bought so much joy and happiness to many people . Having the option so early in the morning has made my dark walks feel safe with a friendly face and coffee .

Natalie Millward (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#293

The coffee van adds to the appeal of the foreshore.

Julie Parke (Shorncliffe, 2022-05-29)

#295

I'm signing because I don't believe this guy is doing any harm at all

Glen Bethel (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#297

There is no beverage outlet on this end of the foreshore which is what locals and visitors alike are looking for. It should be far enough back from the path to stop crowding and avoid safety concerns, but close enough for convenience.

Margaret O'Sullivan (Brisbane, 2022-05-29)

#300

This is such an injustice, the people complaining need to get a life

David Willard (Bald Hills, 2022-05-29)

#302

Tom makes awesome coffee and my dog is missing her doggy treat she gets. These are a lovely couple running a tiny business. We need to support small business in Australia 100%.

Jodie Turner (Lower Beechmont, 2022-05-29)

#303

I believe that people should be allowed to earn a living. He’s not harming anyone and is providing a community service

Hayley Brandt (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#304

I'm signing because I'm sick of the loud minority getting their way. We need to harness and promote small business.......not banish them and tie them up with red tape.

Cameron Whittaker (Brisbane, 2022-05-29)

#307

Brighton and rest of the community need him there

Rachel Vaughan (Brisbane, 2022-05-29)

#308

This is nonsense

Lisa Gould (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#313

I cannot understand who can possibly have an issue with someone trying to earn a dollar by providing a service that is much wanted and loved. Clearly there are prehistoric dinosaurs who have nothing better to do than try and stop change. Probably same people who tried to shut a down the other coffee cart further up Brighton. There’s enough to go around and should not be forced to shut down because of 1 or 2 grumpy old &”$&@.

Ruth Holmes (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#316

He paid his lease it was granted. No one owns the foreshore.

Nichole Sutcliffe (Shorncliffe, 2022-05-29)

#319

I am signing because my Coffee Guy are great people so friendly with fantastic customer service.

Renee Paterson (Sandgate, 2022-05-29)

#321

I believe they should be allowed to be there, causing no harm, walk past and get a better view, full stop.

Zac Bentley (Diddlibah, Sunny coast. , 2022-05-29)

#323

Having social coffee stops is a wonderful part of many people's time at the Esplanade - including visitors and locals!

Kaitlin Meaney (Brisbane, 2022-05-29)

#324

This amazing business is excellent for our community

Bec Daly (Brisbane , 2022-05-29)

#326

I cannot believe that we are even petitioning for this. Good luck Thomas! See you back here soon!

Craig Dawkins (Brighton, 2022-05-29)

#329

I think it is a great way to get a coffee in the morning.

Patricia Kelly (Chermside, 2022-05-29)

#331

Tom needs to stay on the waterfront he makes lots of people happy 😃

Sharyn Field (Margate, 2022-05-29)

#336

He has a legitimate business and is not doing anything wrong by selling coffee on the foreshore.

Katie Johnson (Brisbane , 2022-05-29)

#341

The coffee cart brought some much needed life to the forgotten Brighton section of the foreshore/esplanade.

Leah Blundell (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#342

I am a regular customer and love a coffee from My Coffee Guy after my long waterfront walk.

Amanda Cook (Sandgate , 2022-05-30)

#346

This was an excellent amenity to have at Brighton.

Paul Stillwell (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#349

Tom is such an asset to the community. Not just for the great coffee, though that is a bonus. He has a knack of bringing people together, and in the relatively short time he has been serving in Brighton, has gathered a loyal following of customers/friends. He is sorely missed, and if not at RAAF Park, then we urge Council to find another suitable waterfront position for him.

Julianne Kidd (Brisbane, 2022-05-30)

#351

I'm signing because I believe that My Coffee Guy is a great addition to the foreshore landscape. Tom is happy, chatty and industrious - and he makes good coffee!

Theona Morgan (Kedron, 2022-05-30)

#353

It’s great to have a coffee van in this area. It has zero impact to the environment.

Laura Duncan (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#356

I would like to support “My Coffee Guy”…it’s a wonderful service to the community.

Beryl Edser (Shorncliffe, Brisbane. , 2022-05-30)

#359

Coffee by the waterfront is or at least should be a human right

Michelle Kirkby (Brisbane , 2022-05-30)

#360

Great coffee, great to grab a coffee along the front down brighton end of foreshore. Doesn’t seem fair when there are other mobile business’ further down the Sandgate end.

tania olivo (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#367

I’m really disgusted that any has complained about this guy. He is friendly, and courteous as well as providing good service to the many people that walk passed every day. Bring him back please!!!

Sandra Greenwood (Brisbane, 2022-05-30)

#368

This was a great little local business serving the whole of our community. I was very disappointed and surprised to see it disappear.

Lee-Anne Spinks (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#371

I think it adds to the coastal laid back feel sandgate/Brighton hold

I love it!

Samantha Torr (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#376

There seem to be a lot more people wanting this guy to stay, than the uptight few that complained for him to have to go... Let there be coffee, and opportunity for those willing to grab it

Luke Hobbs (Brisbane, 2022-05-30)

#378

I think more food/drinks carts along the waterfront is a great thing

Clayton Ross (Sandgate, 2022-05-30)

#379

This coffee cart is awesome, and in my opinion isn't causing any harm or detriment to the local area!

Mark Napper (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#386

I’m signing because this guy is awesome and it’s nice to grab a coffee by the water by someone who has a smile on there face. Always up for a chat

Sarah Neill (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#389

I was a regular at this coffee cart and found Thomas extremely friendly. It is local to our home and we love that we can get outdoors, have a coffee and enjoy the foreshore. We miss having him around.

Cherie Lee (Brighton Brisbane , 2022-05-30)

#397

We need services like this to help build communities. Life is not about 1 person. It's about everyone

Nigel Megaw (Brisbane , 2022-05-30)

#398

We need to support local business, especially on Council shared ground. I would rather do my morning walk past a coffee cart, than a drug deal. These guys are keeping our streets clean whilst giving an amazing service.

Alisa Schuller (Bracken Ridge, 2022-05-30)
