We need this coffee cart on the foreshore, absolutely ridiculous someone has complained about noise.

My elderly Mum loved going to Brighton on a Tuesday morning with her support worker and thoroughly enjoyed Tom's coffee. Mum would then slowly walk as far as she could for gentle exercise before her support worker took her back home. Mum was devastated that Tom had been treated so badly and been forced to move.

The little man ( small business ) needs a go!!

Aimee Clough (Clontarf, 2022-05-30)

We want the coffee guy back.

Aaron HAWKE (Brighton , 2022-05-30)

A small business trying to succeed. His coffee is good. He is a nice bloke.

Brian Eltherington (Bracken Ridge, 2022-05-30)

#427

It is a bloody good coffee that I look forward to. He is doing no harm.

Melinda Pattinson (Bracken Ridge, 2022-05-30)

Although I don't buy any coffee he's is such a happy guy and I hear his coffee is great so please just let him stay so he's got work and for the happy customers who visit our beautiful foreshore

Anita Greeck (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#441

The concerns of one individual shouldn’t over ride the enjoyment of many.

Ken Francey (Sandgate, 2022-05-30)

#444

We need this small business to keep on going.

Tony Bates (Taigum, 2022-05-30)

The reason he was made leave us ridiculous

Alison Holstein (Bald Hills, 2022-05-30)

Was great to see coffee cart at beach

Christine Williams (Brighton. Brisbane, 2022-05-30)

#450

The waterfront is for everyone not just the residents. Give this guy a break and let him earn his living!

Karen Rosevear (Sandgate, 2022-05-30)

#451

Sandgate is all about community. Excluding someone from doing something as simple as making coffee is not what sandgate is about.

Lewis Rosevear (Brisbane, 2022-05-30)

#454

I am in support of the coffee van

Jill Jahnke (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#456

Bring the coffee man back

Helen Mee (Brisbane , 2022-05-30)

#460

The waterfront has become extremely busy and it’s nice for locals to go to a less busy end of it and have option of getting a coffee. There is no way this cart creates more noise that the loud groups of cyclists that start going past early in the morning shouting to each other to be heard. A couple of grumpy residents shouldn’t stop something that’s being enjoyed by so many more .

Terri Horner (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#461

Love the beachfront here in Brighton/Sandgate/Shorncliffe...lived here for 42 years...so lovely to be able to buy a coffee while walking/visiting the area...the foreshore is for all..

Julie Goldsmith (Sandgate , 2022-05-30)

#467

I support small business and don’t support entitled homeowners ruining things for others.

Natalie Brown (Bracken Ridge, 2022-05-30)

Christine Weeks (Nundah, 2022-05-30)

#475

I'm signing this petition because the Coffee Guy delivers a heart warming service & friendly conversation right where I am in the mornings. This is without even talking about the great coffee & hot chocolate ! His smile & happiness to be there helps raise my energy and feel good. I've witnessed a connection and coming together of our community. Allow this to continue please. Thank you

Julianne Evans (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#477

This coffee van is a fantastic addition to the Brighton foreshore that currently has no retail

Avalon KNOTT (Brighton , 2022-05-30)

#479

We need to encourage people that have the vision and initiative to provide a service to the our community.
The negative voice of just a few should not have so much power.

Rachel Terry (Brisbane , 2022-05-30)

#483

Disgusting how a few locals think they own the foreshore and that it is ok to push this amazing coffee cart out of town. It brings the community together to walk, chat and have a coffee.

Suzanne Roza (Brisbane, 2022-05-30)

#485

The reasons as to why it was banned in the first place are ridiculous. Bring back my coffee guy.

Kate Fedden (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#489

Because every foreshore should have coffee as good as this. Bring back the Coffee guy!

Kylie Berry (Strathpine, 2022-05-30)

#493

I'm signing because I believe the foreshore is for all to enjoy, not just the privileged few who think they're more entitled.

Sharon Swalwell (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

Janet Garside (Deagon, 2022-05-30)

A shame they have been told to move

Angela Charalambous (Brighton , 2022-05-30)

#503

He's just a guy providing a wanted service to people that actually have a life.

Linda McCarrick (Brighton, 2022-05-30)

#507

It’s our local waterfront … the majority of residents love picking up a coffee before or after our walks on the foreshore. Council should be encouraging small business not make it difficult for them to earn a good honest living. Where My Coffee guy sits is on no way disruptive for anyone… nor competition for other local venues. Listen to the majority of locals not a few small minded individuals!

Madonna Crew (Brighton , 2022-05-30)

#508

We need to support small business entrepreneurs who add real value to our local communities - friendships built during what seems like a casual interaction is a real need societal need. Plus I find bullying behaviour abhorrent from mean spirited individuals offensive & a contra indicator to a Society that I want to be part of

Paula Johnston (Brisbane , 2022-05-30)

#510

My Coffee Guy gives us not only good coffee but a place to gather for a moment, for a smile, to exchange a story. He is an important part of the village we are building. Thank you, stay resilient, we appreciate you :)

Ludmila Doneman (Sandgate, 2022-05-30)

#511

A community supports each other and this local business is great for the area and the local community. They are giving it a go and should not be penalised for that.

Tanya O’Connor (Wavell Heights, 2022-05-30)

#518

I’m signing because everyone deserves to make a living in the crazy world & I luv good coffee!

Le-Ann Walker (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#519

We need more coffee options along the waterfront and there’s nothing down that end of the path

Ashleigh Machin (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#522

This coffee cart is an iconic must have.

Kylie Timms (Ascot, 2022-05-31)

#523

This was an important part of connection in our community. Not only was he given council approval but he has done nothing but try to accommodate the complaints of one resident!! Outrageous. Bring back My Coffee Guy!

Christine Carroll (KALINGA, 2022-05-31)

#527

We love the area!
We love coffee!
Tom needs to stay!

Carolin Riley (Sandgate, 2022-05-31)

#529

Tom is a great man has had a lot of tragedy in his life. He has always done the right thing and does not deserve this.

Chris & Keith Wills (Sandgate , 2022-05-31)

#530

I like to support new small businesses.

Denise Schultz (Brighton , 2022-05-31)

#532

This is great for Brighton and the community. I’m a new mum and going to get my coffee and having this close by to get me out of the house is great positive start to my day and mental health!

Krystal Coley (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#533

The coffee guy is quite, doesn’t block any view and is a great addition for Brighton and the community! A honest guy who is just making a living, it is sad to see that a persistent complainer can harm someone’s small business who isn’t harming anyone but adding a positive start to the community

Krystal Baart (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#534

There was no valid reason advised for his eviction

Be Long (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#537

We shouldn't be dictated to by a minority.

Karl Harisson (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#541

I support coffee vans along the beachfront

Tracey Scovell (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

#543

This was a great service that wasn’t affecting any near by businesses.

Robyn Baker (Bridgeman Downs, 2022-05-31)

#552

I’m signing because is unfair that someone is loosing its job because some person does not like the noise of a coffee machine for a few hours.

Diana Ariza (Brisbane , 2022-05-31)

#555

The cart is an important part of connecting our community.

Madonna McLaughlin (Sandgate, 2022-05-31)

#559

Tom is a legend! He’s brought great energy, great attitude and of course great coffee to our Bayside … time to being him back! 👍

Tony Edwards (Brighton, 2022-05-31)

Peter BOWEN (Boondall, 2022-05-31)

#574

Tom does not deserve to be railroaded - harmless activity supporting so many with a smile and good brew! Let’s find him another good spot - let good coffee return!!! @BCC

John Gairns (Virginia, 2022-05-31)

#576

The coffee is great, location is appropriate. He hasn't broken any laws. Why do small businesses have to suffer these due to privileged, self-righteous whingers?

Tony Devine (Sandgate , 2022-06-01)

#577

Hard working man, doing the right thing and serving the community. The decision to move him on was unfair and unjust, without taking into account the general con census, without requesting feedback from ALL local residents.

Karen Walklett (Brighton, 2022-06-01)

#581

It’s so convenient and nice to have my coffee guy at Brighton every morning.

Paulo Hosi (Brisbane , 2022-06-01)

Lisa Garnsworthy (Shorncliffe, 2022-06-01)

#584

It’s a convenient and perfect place for a coffee

Kylie Catley (Brighton, 2022-06-01)

#586

I live coffee but even more than that I live good people giving small business a go and helping create community! Tom and Leanne should be allowed to conduct their business and keep bringing great coffee and a smile to the community!

Natalie Halpin (Kallangur, 2022-06-02)

#587

I love the coffee at the van and Tom is a lovely man

Kirstie Goff (Brighton , 2022-06-02)

#588

He has every right to have his business here

Di Levack (Sandgate, 2022-06-02)

This is a grouse injustice and a persons income. Please don’t put them out of business and employment.

Jude Kingston (Hamilton , 2022-06-03)

I believe in free enterprise and this is a great service to our area

Debbie Hays (Brighton, 2022-06-03)
