This is a very dangerous intersection with the bridge blocking someone’s view. I go through there often and sit there for long periods of time because I’m scared there is a car coming. There should be a stop light or raise the road up so there is plenty of room to see what is coming.

Many tractor-trailer trucks use this highway. It is not easy to stop an 18-wheeler truck while traveling 55mph, much less to take the additional time it takes to stop and get started again. Also, it takes additional costly fuel to stop and start. They are trying to make a living.

I’m signing because of the trend of installing these all way stops is just a cop out for poor engineering. Study the area and determine the the best engineering solution. Just installing a stop sign and expecting the issue to handle itself is unacceptable.

My family lives in this area, and I have property on Hwy 99. This four-way stop is absolutely unbelievable. It’s like having a stop in the middle of a major highway with no expectation of such a possibility. When I was there last week after the signs were installed, I couldn’t imagine how anyone thought this was a solution for anything.
