Solution for Arab Health 2022 Indian Exhibitors

This Petition is on behalf of all the Indian Exhibitors who are participating in the upcoming exhibition in Dubai UAE from 24.01.2022 to 27.01.2022 to either postpone the dates of the exhibition to a later date or exempt them from Exhibiting at Arab health 2022.

All exhibitors have made an individual request to either postpone the exhibition or exempt them from participation in 2022. The organisers have dismissed any individual requests for cancellation as currently travel from India is open.

As per Informa Markets, Exhibitors have no option but to exhibit or else they will have to pay the full amount. In case any exhibitor hasn't paid yet but have signed the contract and choose not to exhibit then their account will be placed on hold and they won’t be able to exhibit in any Informa exhibition till 100% or the dues are cleared.

UAE has banned visitors from Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo (Congo – Brazzaville), South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Angola, Guinea, Rwanda and many more countries. Please refer to the link for more information. https://www.emirates.com/in/english/help/covid-19/dubai-travel-requirements/tourists/

Due to Covid, UAE Govt has also imposed restrictions on Dubai Expo 2020 as UAE Covid cases spike and Arab Health 2021 was also postponed when the cases were significantly lower worldwide.

Exhibiting in this scenario will impact the reputation of the Arab Health Organizers (INFORMA MARKETS), is very demoralising and is not making financial sense for all exhibitors who are a part of this petition as the number of visitors will be significantly lower, while the exhibiting cost of exhibiting remains the same or even higher due to many Covid protocols that all we have to do at our own cost before departure, before arrival and after arrival, etc.
Moreover, there is a mandatory 7-day quarantine upon return to India.

Apart from the above-mentioned challenges, we all agree that our safety against COVID 19 is being compromised for the financial gain of the organiser.

All the exhibitors who have signed this petition have been loyal to Informa Markets for many many years and it is the responsibility of Informa market to take care of our request irrespective of the contracts signed or payments made. Even though it might not be specifically stated in the contract, it is implied or understood that each party to the contract must act in good faith and deal fairly with the other party in performing or enforcing the terms of the contract. At this point in time, Informa Market is not acting as such.

On behalf of all the undersigned exhibitors, it is humbly requested that a practical decision may be taken on an urgent basis so the upcoming exhibition is beneficial for all and not just one-sided.

We all sincerely request Informa Markets to either Postpone the Dates of the Exhibition to a later date or exempt them from exhibiting in Arab Health 2022 by refunding the money or adjusting it in future informa Markets exhibitions.

Kind Regards,

INDIAN EXHIBITORS
