Stop deportatin of Mohamed Marchoud to Marocco.
Mohamed Marchoud will, after serving a lifetime penalty in Sweden, be expelled to his home country Morocco. There is another life sentence waiting for him and a possible death penalty. Mohamed Marchoud has worked tremendously with himself during the 25 years he has spent in Swedish prison. He has undergone a variety of programs within the Prison and Probation Service. He has trained himself. He has written books and he has lectured outside the prison walls. He has participated in several radio programs. Mohamed Marchoud is today a completely different person from the one he was when he came to Sweden. The Swedish Migration Board has now decided that Mohamed Marchoud will be expelled to Morocco and the expulsion is scheduled to be carried out on February 28 this year. Mohamed Marchoud has applied for the cancellation of the deportation because he risks execution in Morocco. Amnesty International has demanded the cancellation of the deportation because the risk that Mohamed Marchoud will be executed or affected by other inhuman treatment at an expulsion to Morocco is imminent. Sweden has previously been criticized by the European Court of Justice for deciding to send a suspect back to Morocco but this has not been taken into account by the Swedish Migration Board in Mohamed Marchoud's case, but it is believed that the deportation must be carried out.
