Taxation without Representation

Delhi, the Capital of India, pays the second highest amount of tax to the Central Government, 1.66 lakh crore rupees. We are being oppressed by the Central Governement. Why don't we deserve full statehood, we have more population than Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura and Nagaland combined. We also deserve statehood. Many political parties promised this too, like for example the BJP promised this in their 2013 manifesto that if they win Delhi will become a full fledged state, They indeed won the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and also in 2019, with a thumping majority, instead they used this Majority to reduce Delhi Government to just a municipal corporation by passing the GNCTD bill in the parliament. The People's mandate has been betrayed by the Central Government. We have to tell this governemnt, that we Delhiites deserve a state. Lets Promote this petition to an unprecedented level and tell the government in loud and clear words "Delhi should be a state"!!!
