To conduct Online exam

Dear All,

This petition is on behalf of all the students of IGNOU university across India. During these unprecedented times, amid COVID-19, all the students have been dealing with a new method of study, something which was not very common in our country before. But both students and teachers have embraced this idea of online studying despite a few difficulties initially. Overall, there has been a positive impact and a new learning experience for every person engaged in the educational sector. Studying online have had its benefits and advantages, but now it’s time to show a similar reaction and motivation to the ONLINE EXAM as well. IGNOU, being an open university admits almost every student who is willing to opt his/ her favourite subject. With around 4 million number of students, at least half of them has to give the examination offline which means by physically going into the centres and writing 3 hours examination. Considering the pandemic situation across the country, it is much riskier than just a thought.

Thereby, it is the Petition on behalf of all IGNOU students to conduct an ONLINE EXAMINATION where a student could have MCQ QUESTION PAPER or an OPEN BOOK EXAM to ensure the exam could be conducted with a hassle- free procedure for both teachers and students; with the utmost safety and sincerity.
