Stop - TTD Property auction

STOP AUCTIONING OF TTD PROPERTIES

To the Honorable President of India

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams[ TTD ] Board has issued notices to auction some of the properties in Tamil Nadu,  which are under its control , on the grounds of non-viability  and un-maintainable situation.

The devotees of entire India and thousands of NRIs have donated and contributed crores of rupees to TTD for various purposes of running the Temples, various institutions, and many religious activities for the welfare of Hindus .

TTD is a custodian of said properties and not absolute owner .

TTD is supposed to and expected to spend the money ONLY for Hindus’ welfare and causes,  and maintain the properties under its control to the satisfaction of entire Hindu community.

The move of auctioning  any properties of TTD on flimsy grounds is tantamount to breach of Trust reposed on it by the devotees. If TTD can not maintain the properties, the best option is to entrust the work to devotees throug various institutions. TTD is best advised to involve the Shankaracharyas, dharmacharyas, devotees and come to an amicable resolution and solution

This ill-thought out plan to auction the properties is seriously hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.

I, on behalf of ALL the Hindus request the Honourable President of INDIA to do the needful to stop this malafide act of auctioning properties by the costodians of their faith, TTD.
