“Tuition adjustment for the current and upcoming term towards international students of Carleton University due to change in course delivery”

This petition strives to provide financial aid by adjustment in tuition fees for the current and upcoming semester of Carleton university international students due to the novel coronavirus 'Covid19" causing change in course delivery.

As everyone is aware of the present situation which caused most of the students to be laid off from their jobs leading to financially strains.

Additionally, Carleton university has officially closed to encourage students to self-quarantine as are many other education systems across the globe in hopes of reducing the spread of this new virus. Causing all the courses for this and upcoming semester to be delivered online.

Therefore most of the students will not be using the on campus facilities which are paid in full at the start of the semester.

For which the amount can be refunded or adjusted in the upcoming term fees.

Which would partially relieve all the international student from financial burden in this time of difficulty.

To conclude we the participants of this petition request the Carleton University authorities to take action on relieving us students of financial strains and refund/adjustments in our tuition fees.
