Waive off All Fees Including Admission Fees for Intermediate and First Semester and Refund the Application Charges Which Were Taken Initially from the HS Passed Students.

Respected Sir/Madame,

       You are aware that the Corona pandemic has shook the economic base of our country and the financial situation of our families are very much in dangour. In this situation, admission processes have been started, for intermediate semester students as well as the students who have qualified higher secondary examination, in various colleges. Meanwhile, many students have demanded for admission without any fees due to their financial woes, as a result, our education minister has declared that application of college admission are to be without any fees.

        You also know that most of the students of North Bengal belong to poor farmer and labour families. In one hand, unplanned lockdown have resulted in many workers losing their jobs and in other hand farmer families are in dire financial straits due to heavy rain. In this critical situation, the poor students are compelled to pay thousands of rupees regarding admissions which is an utterly unethical act from the authorities. So we are demanding :
1. All levels of students' fees, including admission fees, must be waived off. 
2. The college authorities should take appropriate steps to immediately refund the application fees which were initially charged from the students who have qualified  higher secondary examination. 
        We hope that you will take appropriate measures, keeping in view the financial plight of the students' families, so that no student has to move away from the educational campus.
