Workers Compensation for healthcare workers exposed and contract MRSA

Healthcare professionals are frequently exposed to MRSA. Not only is this bacteria disabling it could also be fatal. It is near impossible to get workers comp and a healthcare professional has to prove what patient she contracted it from. Unfortunately not only can you get it from a patient you can also contract MRSA from a contaminated surface. Other words it is impossible to prove where you contracted the MRSA. There are several professions that have protection when they are exposed to hazardous substances. Instead of the burden of proof be placed on the healthcare professionals the burden of proof should be placed on the hospitals.  When a healthcare professional contracts a MRSA infection they should be able to receive Workers Comp without having to fight for it.
