Hungary demands an apology from mainstream media!

Open letter to CNN!
I have written CNN previously, not once but several times, and nothing happened, no reply...at all - but to tell you the truth I wasn't surprised, because I was writing to you as a Hungarian who is deeply shocked at the unfair and untruthful way you people are communicating about my country. This time, I am sending an open letter, through a petition to CNN, this way I hope you have no other choice, but read my thoughts. The mainstream media has declared war against my country months ago, we have become public enemy number one (according to liberals) You have called us names such as Nazis, inhuman, xenophobic, racists, fascists and so on. I wouldn’t like to list the rest, because it would take up a lot of space and my letter is long anyway. The main thing is that you owe the Hungarian people, the Hungarian government, and the Hungarian Prime Minister a huge apology! I have no illusions…so I doubt you will apologize in any way, since you have to meet some higher requirements, why would you care about clearing a country’s name which you have deliberately discredited, by order of course! Anyway, as an open letter, I will try to show the world the power of manipulative press which you are part of.
After years of repression and self-doubt our country has become patriotic, proud of being Hungarian and we were able to do this because our PM showed us that our history has made us strong and we should be proud just like OTHER NATIONS. You called him a dictator, even though he was the only leader in Europe or even the World, who asked the country’s citizens opinion about migration, when he saw the problem unfold. No other leader did this, so now we can say, that he is the only one who is acting by the people’s will. No other leader asked any of their citizens, didn’t give them the right or chance to make a choice whether or not they want migrants in their everyday lives. In this perspective it is not our PM who the dictator is, but all other leaders in Europe, because the people have to live according to what their PM’s feels is the best, or he is told to do. We gave authority to our PM to do what he is doing right now.
Your channel reported from the Hungarian highways, when the migrants decided not to go to registration points, but walk to the Austrian border. I remember the humiliating tone you and other TV stations correspondents talked about this situation. It was very unfair and unethical. Anyway, you and all other mainstream press talked about this migrant convoy as if it were the Hungarians who drove those people out on to the highways. Austrian citizens felt so sorry for these poor migrants, - who by the way left tons of litter along the 106.3 miles – they jumped into their cars, crossed the border to collect the poor migrants and “take them from fascist Hungary as soon as they can” – as they said and drove them to Austria. Today Austria is in the same shoes as we were then, but I don’t hear anything like “fascist Austria” because of the migrants marching on the highway or along the railway tracks. I hope you can explain why because if you can’t it would sure feel like double standard. (Which I know it is, but I’ll give the mainstream media a chance to explain this “little” mistake of theirs)
Our police never left the border, never left the Hungarians alone. Austrians have! They left the border at Spielfeld, saying they cannot cope with the migrants, so they gave up on trying. I don’t seem to hear any humiliating reports about this either even though it is a shame that they left their border. A country should never give up, no matter what the situation is! But not even the patriotic United States said anything bad about the great Austria for giving up their border.
Where are your lines about human rights when the migrants are spending the night outside in the rain and cold in Austria and Croatia? Hungary never left any migrant outside for the night, only those who chose not to use the transit zones and camped where they pleased as their choice. About Röszke: I don’t know why in the world the mainstream media reacted to the whole thing the way it did, but let me remind you of one thing: Hungary announced that we will build a fence at the Serbian border and close it on September 15th. It was official, and not something that happened over night. It took us a few months to build it and everyone was aware that it will be finished one day. So, we closed the green border officially and told that only those can come into the country who request asylum in Hungary, and who have papers to prove they are refugees. Then, a mass of migrants started gathering at the gate, but in a very unusual way. I say unusual because in our culture we protect the weak and not take them to the front line. They put all children and women in the front and all the men stood behind them, as a “very” brave move. With ONE exception. A guy with a megaphone stood there also whose job was to threaten the police, if they do not let them through, they will break in the gate. So they did, they broke into our country. Let me remind you, if someone breaks the door of your home who you do not welcome, is equivalent with breaking in and trespassing isn’t it?! After they didn’t get their way, they broke into the Serbian Duty Free Shop, robbed the place and started to tear down a small building close by using its pieces as weapons against the Hungarian police. You could see in the broadcast that men broke the stones into brick size or larger pieces and threw it at the officers. And what do you think the CNN correspondent said? “I don’t understand why the Hungarians are doing this to these poor refugees who are fleeing from war. They are just throwing empty water bottles and apples, and the police answered with water cannon and teargas.” My jaw dropped when I heard this, but yours obviously didn’t. You, as an American News channel dare to judge the Hungarian government and authorities, when your immigration officers have the right to turn me around on arrival if he or she thinks I am a threat to the States, and all this can happen even if I have a valid visa! And you judge us? You are judging us on our migrant policy and our fence, even though you have a pretty long one at the Mexican border? Aren’t you a bit of a hypocrite? Anyway, let me get back to the lead thread: we OFFICIALLY closed a border, but Slovenia hasn’t, and their police have used teargas on migrants regularly, because they were unable to deal with them. They had no closed borders, no fence, nothing! No notification about them shutting the border before illegal migrants. Where was your correspondent at those times to ask his very smart question “why the Slovenians are doing this to the poor refugees fleeing from war?” I can answer you that: he was nowhere!! And where were you when Austria did the same October 29th? Two double standards!
Hungarians tossing food to migrants is disgusting as the CNN reporter said to the Hungarian Foreign Minister during a live report saying its against human rights. Austrians, Slovenians, Croatians doing the same is fine…you have absolutely no problem with that! Again double standard.
Austria building a fence…or just planning it is nothing to talk about, you are even partner in diversion, calling it everything but a fence…but when the Hungarian PM announced we are planning to build a fence the world associated Hungary with Auschwitz, including you and especially the Austian Chancellor. Again double standard. Do you know how many more there are?? Of course you do, since you generated all of them! It’s a shame where journalism has come to.
And let me get down to my final conclusion, which will not be a short story either. The Hungarian Prime Minister, who the mainstream media and many -so called intelligent European leaders called Nazi, racist and other nice stuff, has been saying that the migrant crisis will be a big problem, and the EU has to get ready to deal with it. No one listened to him. He decided to build a fence to save Hungary and Europe – as Hungary did many times during her 1100 years – but he again was the problem child of Europe, even though France build her fence at Calais, Spain had her fence at Melilla and Bulgaria has a fence at the Turkish border. These fences don’t seem to be a problem, only the Hungarian one is inhumane and reminds people of Holocaust. Why is that? And let me get back to the Bulgarian fence for a minute. As I recall not long ago a migrant was shot at the Bulgarian border. Yahoo! is my home page on my computer, and what a surprise that only one news was about the border shooting, and 7(!!) I mean seven stories about Hungary and its inhumane new fence at the Croatian border. The next day, the shooting wasn’t even mentioned in the news and the EU booked the incident as “casualty of war”. I can imagine what Hungary would have got through the media if it happened here! Today columns can be read about Hungary’s history, (with false and deficient information) I was even able to find out from one of them that Hungary was a fascist country way before Germany was. Maybe…a few weeks later we will find out that Hitler wasn’t Austrian but Hungarian and Germany didn’t start the war but Hungary did. Our officers don’t use live ammunition at all, but for days the news was about the Hungarian army teaming up with the police at the border. I remember the heartwarming articles about poor migrants scared to death seeing the soldiers. I even read it somewhere, when a migrant was quoted: “are they going to shoot at us?” The journalist was very keen to discredit Hungary for this action, but this journalist didn’t discredit Bulgaria for taking a life. Again a double standard.
I don’t recall you saying anything like: “the Hungarian PM was right.” or “the EU leaders are starting to stand by the Hungarian PM.” or “how can someone be a dictator that was elected by two thirds of the voters?” Let me ask you one more thing. Why is it that our ex and very bad PM who admitted in a speech that he was lying about almost everything he and his government did (which you can find here: Wikipedia Gyurcsany speech at Öszöd ) is interviewed regularly by CNN? An ex PM who is responsible for many broken Hungarian lives, when he ordered the police to crash a peaceful rally on October 23rd  2006.? I don’t seem to remember you reporting on this “little” thing back then or you saying that Hungary’s PM beat the hell out of his people. Now that is what a dictator does, and that is when you can call someone a dictator. But you didn’t. He has more gigs at your TV station than any other ex communist politician. I guess, he is a good guy now, because he says what you want to hear. It doesn’t matter how incorrect he is and a traitor to his country? Please take note, that all countries I have mentioned above as an example are protecting their countries, and no matter how they do it, I agree with it. I just don't agree with the way you handle Hungary and handle other countries for the same things = double standard!!!
There is a lot more frustration where this came from. I am full of anger and have an urge to tell the world how unfair mainstream media is and to tell everyone that Hungarians are good people, love their country and we stand behind our government 100% and that doesn’t mean we are fascist or racists as the media tries to suggest. Luckily, the people of Europe are finally awakening, and now they realize that their leaders are making decisions without them. I just wonder will you correct yourself about Hungary? Will you correct yourself at all when all countries start following the Hungarian migrant policy and build fences too? Will all European countries be Nazi and racist and lead by dictators? So, as I’ve said in the beginning, the time has come for the mainstream media to apologize to this little, but strong patriotic country, who through nine months solved the migrant crisis on her own assisting almost 400 thousand migrants in total. We didn’t get anything else besides trash from the media.
Last, but not least I would like to quote from Mahatma Gandhi: “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” I have a hunch where Hungary stands right now according to this quote. Do you? And will the mainstream media have the guts to admit how wrong they were about us? I doubt it. I just hope that the historians cannot be mislead and years from now everyone will find out about the courage of this country, its leaders and its people.
P.S.: I didn’t mention U.S. Ambassador to Hungary because an open letter was written to her already, but I truly hope that she was a better soap opera producer than she does her job as an Ambassador. But…one thing…America should start minding its own business…not always search for a new enemy all the time, a new country to ruin now that they have torn down the middle east. Hands off Hungary!

P.S.#2: You call Hungary racist for exactly what reason?? For pulling a fence and not wanting Islam in our coutry? That is NOT A REASON! We never hurt any of the migrants, never burnt down tranzit zones or registration camps. Never did any of what is happening in Germany these days! NEVER! And you dare say we are racist??? How about calling those racist who deserve it!
America and her alies started Arab Spring based on lies - according to Tony Blair. You are trying to start something in Hungary based on lies! But you are very unlucky! The majority of Europeans and even Americans are with Hungary and see through your manipulative journalism. People are not as dumb you would like them to be!
